CHAPTER 10
"We're a miracle"
That night was pleasant and soft, like silk, and Nick enjoyed staying on the balcony. He saw at his passion - ocean. He loved his house, those waves on the shoreline, that tender breeze, and fresh, cheerful ocean wind. Staying there like this, he forgot about all problems he had, and that's great.
Alsie couldn't sleep also as well that night. She was sitting on the floor of her room in pajamas and looked through Nick's old pictures, which BJ gave her. She began to realize that everything she felt, everything that was between them both was wrong. Nick used to live by one way of life, she used to live by another. They were totally different. Actually Franceska was that girl for such a guy like Nick. She was from his society, intelligent, beautiful... That thoughts made her feel herself worse and worse.
Franceska was eating an apple and sitting on her bed. She was thinking about Nick, Alsie, herself and them altogether. She still couldn't believe that Nick lost all his feelings to her. She always believed that if she wanted she would always come back to him, she thought that his feelings stayed there forever. "Why did he love Alsie? - she thought - What's so great in her?" And then minute after minute she realized, that Alsie would never ever play with Nick's heart as she did. Alsie would never make Nick jealous as she did for fun. Alsie would never offend that guy, as she did. She was immature. She was such a dumb!
Nick was still staying on the balcony when he heard the knock.
"Opened" - he said.
Franky came to his room. Nick turned at her and came outta balcony.
"Yes Franky..."
"We need to talk Nick"
"I don't think so" - he laid down to bed. Franky laid down near him and began to move slowly her finger on his shoulder. Nick suddenly stood up and shook his head.
"Better don't..."
"Nick... - Franky stood up also - I know, it sounds corny and stupid, but I've just only now realized that I have been loving you all that time we're apart and from the very first minute I saw you"
Nick stared at her. Then he laughed out loud.
"Don't pretend, Franky, that doesn't suit you" - he said through the laughing.
"I don't - said she - You can laugh if you want. You have a right for it! I hurt you Nick, I know, I hurt you very much... But boy, forgive me... I just... I just love you"
"Hey Franceska... stop... You drive me crazy... I don't wanna listen to it" - Nick suddenly realized she wasn't kidding.
"You don't want to listen to the truth?"
"Where have you been with all that truth 6 months ago, Franky?"
"Nick... I've never thought you could love somebody else except me"
"Stop that, Franky"
"Nick I love you"
"Don't - yelled Nick - Don't say me that. You had a chance, you didn't use it"
"Yes... And I'm very sorry... I was such a dumb!" - Franky began crying. Her tears dropped outta her eyes like rain.
"Stop crying Franky! I'm tired... God how I'm tired of all of this!" - Nick closed his eyes with his hands.
"Nick ... I love you" - repeated Franky through the tears.
"Hey... What do you want me to say?" - asked Nick. He was tired and angry at Franky.
"I know you still love me, Nick. You just don't want to confess that"
"No Franceska. I'll confess that if it's so"
"Nick... please... say you love me. I need it so much"
"I don't love you, Franceska. I love another girl" - said Nick in a strong voice.
"No... You just think you love her... but you don't" - she continued yelling. But suddenly she lifted her eyes up at Nick and saw there just sarcastic smile. She felt herself like being isterical.
Nick kept silence. He just stood there and watched at her. She turned to him, came closer and quietly asked:
"Tell me... Do I have the chance? I will fight if I have it... I'll do anything just to..." - she cut her speech, cause Nick shook his head.
"You don't have any chance Franceska, sorry. I don't love you"
He looked at her, Franceska went outta his room and headed to her room. She felt down the bed and began crying. She'd never ever felt herself so silly and dumb! She hated herself for being herself.
Nick was standing in front of the room and thinking. Then suddenly he ran out and knocked at Alsie's door. Alsie was in bed then, and when she'd opened the door Nick kissed her so strongly and with such a passion as she could only dreamed for. They were standing half in room and half in door and kissing about 10 minutes. But they didn't notice the time. Time was endless for them. At last Alsie tenderly got her lips outta his and said:
"Come in, Nick"
He came, then he just couldn't imagine, but Alsie put off her pajamas and looked at him. Nick came close to her, kissed her and they felt down the bed together.
She awake early in the morning and heard a strange noise downstairs. Alsie dressed the bathrobe and went outta room. She saw Franky downstairs with suitcases.
"Where are you going?" - asked Alsie suprised.
"At home" - sadly smiling answered Franky.
"What's so hurry? Weekend lasts still"
"I need to talk to you" - said Franky in a serious tone.
"We have nothing to talk about - said Alsie - especially with you"
And she headed back to her room, but Franky suddenly said:
"You've won, Alsie"
"What?"
"Nick loves you Alsie, he doesn't love me. You were right, I was wrong"
"Why are you pretending, lying snake" - Alsie was angry.
"I don't need it, if it'll help, I do. But nothing can help me. I lost Nick, I lost his love and that's only my fault"
Alsie realized she's talking serious and stared at her.
"I only wanna ask you about one thing, Alsie - she smiled - make Nick happy. He deserves it on 100%"
Then she left the shocked Alsie.
The sun was playing on his cheeks, he looked like a little angel with his blonde hair and long eyelashes. Alsie was laying near him and she enjoyed by sleeping Nick. Everything seemed so happy and clear for her. She felt kinda sorrow about Franky, but she could do nothing with that. Suddenly Nick's eyes began trembling and soon he opened them. The light of his blue eyes made Alsie like being blind.
"Hey, hello" - he said and kissed Alsie.
"Hello baby" - answered Alsie.
They kept silence for some time, but then laughed and kissed again.
"Have I ever told you are the queen of my heart, the main reason I breathe and live for?" - asked Nick tenderly.
"And have I ever told you, that you're my greatest wish and together we're a miracle?" - asked Alsie smiling.
"Are we?" - Nick was pretending. Alsie hit him, kidding.
"Okay okay, baby... Sure I know that, together we're a miracle" - repeated Nick.
( 2 weeks later, on presentation of movie)
"They are really cute!" - said Rimma looking at Gerald and Eric, new boyfriends of Alisa and Lanie.
"Sure they are! I can't wait for Nick all my life" - joked Alisa.
"You know I actually realize that I'm falling in love with Gerald. I've never ever felt this way before - said Lanie - I'm not such a romantic, but..."
"But you are" - laughed Alsie. Lanie nodded.
All boys were standing aside, talking and arguing... It seemed like Gerald and Eric was a part of that company forever. But a few minutes later Gerald headed to the girls' table.
"You acted perfectly, Alsie" - said Gerald coming closer to the girls.
"Thanks Gerald, I did my best! But firstly I must say Thanks to Leigh" - said Alsie, laughed at Leighanne.
"Give it up! - said Leighanne - You acted perfectly, cause you're great actress! That's why!"
"I've heard you signed a contract?" - asked Gerald again, smiling.
"Yes... I donno... what'll happen... But... let the life go on... I'll see" - smiled Alsie.
"Yeah you're right Alsie - said Emma. Girls got to know her better and noticed her kind personality - But most of all I liked your heroine. You looked cool playing bandit girl"
"It was funny to play!" - echoed Alsie.
"Nick, certainly, is very proud of you, ah?" - asked Lisa.
"Sure he does! - answered for Alsie Rimma - And so do I"
The presentation was great. When the film was shown, everybody went to congratulate Alsie and Leighanne and they were happy to hear that everybody liked the movie. Brian and Nick felt proud and stood near theirs cute actress'.
When the dance time came, AJ came to Amanda and asked:
"May I have this dance, Amy?"
"Sure AJ"
They began to move in a slow motion.
"You know, Amy, I was thinking about one thing?" - said AJ smiling at her.
"Which one?" - answered Amy.
"You know... maybe that's corny, but all guys from BSB are taken, only me... haha... I'm the single one" - he laughed with a sad tone.
"I've always thought you have a girlfriend" - Amanda was surprised.
"Well... I did... But there's nobody for me now... I donno what to do - he said - By the way, I've got somebody on my mind... but I don't know if she likes me"
Amanda's heart began jumping up and down, but she'd controlled herself and said to herself: "Silly, he doesn't like you. You will always be his friend, no more"
"Well... what can I say? - began she - Did you notice maybe some signs from her?"
"Well... Guys say she seems like she likes me, but I'm not sure"
"Do I know her?"
"I guess you do" - he looked at her mysteriously.
"Okay... tell me who's she and I'll do my best to find out what does she feel to you"
"Thanks, Amanda! You're real friend!" - he kissed her on cheek.
"Well... what's her name?" - Amanda felt nervous.
"Her name is Amanda Lorenz and I donno... how to show her my feelings" - smiled AJ.
Firstly Amanda wasn't be able to realize what had happened. But then, when shock came down, she spelled:
"What did you...? Did I understand right?"
"Oh... Is your name Amanda Lorenz?" - was kidding AJ.
Amanda was still shocked. All she'd dreamed about seemed to be fulfilled.
"She dances with me. My partner. - AJ could be the greatest actor - She's blonde, blue eyed, maybe you know her?"
"AJ!" - yelled Amanda.
"Haha - laughed he - Caught you! But Amanda say, I did very original love confession!"
"AJ..."
"Don't say anything, will you be my girlfriend Amanda? Will you take care of me, cherish me, love me and cook for me until death do us part?"
"You're incredible!" - laughed Amanda.
"Will you?"
"I will, I will" - smiled Amanda and kissed AJ.
"I can't believe - yelled Monie, laughing - Mela had lost her crush on Justin!"
"Yes I did" - said Mela, with the proud.
"Can't be!" - was still laughing Monika.
"I've decided to become a sporty girl just like you. Will you take me in your company?" - laughed Mela.
"You can't live without boys!" - said Monie.
"From that moment and on I can!" - announced Mela.
"Okay, we'll talk about that later, 2 weeks later... I'll check on your words!" - said Monika.
"No problem!" - answered Melanie. Girls laughed.
It seemed like everybody was enjoying that little party. For everybody that was happy time and happy evening, full of joy, laughing and love... floating in the air.
