"You want me too Sargatanis!! I am her brother, that means we have
the same
blood running through our veins!!" Christopher yells at the cold
looking manor.
"Take me instead of my sister!!"
He paced back and forth in the rain, hoping to catch a glimpse of
Rachel or
Sargatanis. He shuddered at the thought of what could be happening to
Rachel in
there. He was drenched from head to toe, but he didn't care. The rain
started to
pour harder than before.
-----
Sargatanis listened to the man outside. Yes, Christopher had the
bloodline too.
The man was strong in mind and body, could he rule just as well as
Rachel, he
wondered? He shook his head at the thought, he would have more fun
with Rachel.
He stepped behind Rachel, and touched her shoulder. She was cold to
his touch,
her skin like ice. She hadn't even spoken since their return. He put
his arms
around her waist, and turned her to him. "Do you hear him out there?"
He said,
and then turned her to face out the window.
--
Christophers eyes widened at the sight of his sister and Sargatanis
standing in
the window.
----
"If only he knew how to use the powers locked deep inside him."
Sargatanis said
almost to himself. "Guard!!" Sargatanis yelled.
"What do you wish master?" A guard asks, as he steps into the
room.
"I wish to speak to this man. Keep an eye on her" Sargatanis replied,
and pushed
Rachel into the guards hands.
----
"Where is Chris?" Dwayne asked, as he walked down the stairs in the
house. He
had searched everywhere, and the search had turned up empty.
"How should I know. I've been watching the dead guy!" Jessica said,
as she threw
down a pillow that she had been holding.
"He's not dead miss." Ferris said, as he picked up the pillow and
returned it to
its rightful place. Agravating woman, he thought.
"Maybe I will go outside and look for him. It's obvious he isn't in
here." She
said, as she almost ran to the back door.
"It's raining out, miss." Ferris said, as he held a jacket up for
her.
"Who needs that. I was in it earlier, did I melt?" She said, with a
small laugh.
"Do you think he went after Sargatanis? Shadow asked, as she shut the
door
behind Jessica.
Puck watched Jessica disapear into the woods. "I've been thinking.
Chris is
blood too. He could be used just as well as Rachel." He said, and
turned his
attention to Shadow and Dwayne. "Why has he not gone after Chris yet,
I do not
know."
"That's what I was thinking." Shadow said, and put a hand to her
face.
"We have to find Chris before it's too late." Dwayne said, as he put
on a coat.
"He could be the one to kill Sargatanis." Puck said, as he put his
boots back
on. "I wonder. I wonder if when this is all over with, if I will die
too." He
said, and then shrugged.
-----
Sharlette and Chester stood looking into the porthole. They had left
the clean
smelling hospital easily. It was as if they were invisable.
Sharlette's keen
senses had led them to the house, to the porthole. They found it in a
matter of
hours.
"She's not getting weaker." Sharlette said, as they watched through
the
porthole. She cried out again, after looking into the porthole for a
few
minutes.
"What!! What's wrong!!?" Chester asked, holding onto Sharlette's
hand.
"He could have ended her!! He made her stronger!!" She turned away,
and sat hard
onto Jessica's bed.
Chester stared for a moment longer into the porthole, seeing his body
laying
there. The vision vanished as the door swung shut. He turned to see
Sharlette
had turned pale.
"Rachel, Anna...one." Sharlette said, and stopped.
"Her brother is there." Chester replied.
"He's not stupid Chester!!" Sharlette snapped back at him. "He's good
at
torture. He will torture Rachel..Anna..whatever it is he created. I
couldn't
keep him from her. Nothing will ever change. I thought having me at
his side
would be enough."
She felt betrayed. She had been promised everything, and yet, still
had nothing.
She had lost the most valuable thing she owned. She had lost her
body. Anger
built up inside of her, and the only thing she could do was begin to
scream.
----
Jessica started to dig in the wet earth. She didn't know what she was
supposed
to be doing. She had been hearing voices for hours now, and they were
telling
her to dig. DIG DIG DIG. She began to laugh as she dug.
A few minutes later she lay on the ground, tired of digging. The
voices tugged
at her soul, telling her to dig more.
"Digging!! I need help!! If you with the voices would come out of
hiding, it
would be great!!" Jessica yelled into the trees."
The sounds of silence greated her. She sighed, and then stood up. She
would come
back later with a shovel. She stood and looked down at her torn and
dirty
clothes. How could she explain this, she wondered?
