My feet went left,
And I went right.
I stumbled,
Landing at your feet.

Your hands grabbed for
My hands.
You looked and realized
Your hands grasped
A holey shoe.

I lay flat.
I lay in a ball.
I lay not noticing
You were even there at all.

Your hands searched
Once more.
You grabbed at my hair.
Yank and tug...
Yank and tug some more.

I lay crying...
My feet went left...
And I went right...
