Gone another day.
The sun rests
As if tired.
Heat shall soon
Give way to
Less heat in the
Florida night.

Should I lay
For one last time
And feel the
Sun's warmth??
Should I waste
Away the afternoon
And sip on
Pink Lemonade??

I watch as the sun
Reaches beyond
My sight...
The moon has risen...
