I walked along the waters edge, and looked out into the ocean. When would it finally end, this
empty feeling inside. I would never understand why this feeling would never subside. It was
endless, and I felt as if I were drifting.

I let the waves crash over my feet, and up my legs. At times the waves wet even my shorts. Tears
began to fall into the salty ocean. I wonder if the ocean even noticed?

I became invisible..I became nothing all at once. You didn't notice when I stepped further into the
ocean. I looked back to see you, you were nose deep into your book. My head went beneath the
surface, my eyes began to sting.

I looked up, watching the sky drift away. Darkness surrounded me..I was calm, and then someone took
my hand. I shook, and opened my eyes.. I began to cry, as I turned to see you, your nose still in
that damn book.
