Traveling past
the boundaries of RhyDin is a long road filled with many scenic
drop-offs that seem to draw the artists, as well as poets, to many
inspiring works of art. This Road is called Yuis Road, and it leads
any who wish to go, to the City of Light. Although the entrance
to New Dunbouri is far off, the first sight greeting most visitors
and travelers is the Sutton Canals. Its a long ten days walk to
the lovely city of light from the canals, but never fear as there
are many places to rest along the way.
The first of
many places is the Singing Swan Inn. The Singing Swan is a place
filled soft music and soothing food, and is renowned for its cleanliness
and hospitality. There are many rooms here, filled with a variety
sizes of beds for the traveler and/or their companions as well.
If you feel the need to stop here, ask for Mary. She has a delightful
smile and the ability to cook the most delicious vegetable stew.
On your second
day, headed for New Dunbouri, you will find a makeshift hut, created
free of charge to any who cannot afford a night in a tavern, or
wish for privacy. There are a few more of these along the way, and
it is highly suggested that should you wish to use them, to please
clean after yourself when you are finished. Though, not far from
the hut, you will find Grinning Cat Tavern. Here they make their
very own brew of beer, along with the imported Dwarven Ale and Elven
Wine, which is very tasty indeed.
It will not
be another two days before you make it to the Lazy Dog Inn. This
Inn lives up to its name! Catered to those who wish to sleep in,
and rest their weary bones for a day, treys can be brought up to
your room as you wish. It comes quite cheap too, though the soap
and water for bathing is extra, it is well worth the trip here.
And after you get finished with your 'lazy' experience here, another
days travel takes you to yet another free hut for another nights
rest.
By the time
you reach the next rest stop on your trip, it should be day seven
of your ten day hike, and the Hot Springs Cafe is anyone's dream
come true. Though its called a cafe, never fear as there are many
rooms for you to stay in, while you visit the natural hot springs
nearby. A trail just behind the Cafe leads you through the thick
tapestry of greenery to several natural hot springs. It is recommended
to also try a cup of Mocha or Java before you continue your journey
to the city.
Though there
are several places to rest along the way, the next Inn is not for
another day and a half, and is also the last Inn before you reach
the city gates. The Yuis Inn, the first Inn build on this long road,
was also given the name of it as well. It is also one of the biggest
on this road, as it tends to hold many costumers at any given time.
Its spacious main room has an air of family to it, as does each
of its rooms. From here, there is only one free hut left, before
you reach New Dunbouri, the City of Light.
