FalnDrgn
The
story of Falon begins about the time that the second wave of the
Brotherhood of the Rose was taking form. There was a human man of
about 30 years who had grown up with a relatively troublesome and
mischievous life. He was basically a bum, wearing a long trench
coat and fighting with knives. However, his thoughts were unlike
most of the population at the time; almost everyone saw either total
light or total evil. This man, however, served the light in ways
that many would not approve of.
This
man came to be known as Falon. However, he is not the Falon you
know today. If you do the calculations, he would be over a hundred
years old today, and Falon is only in his 80's. Well, Falon found
a group with similar views as himself, known as the Dark Angels.
As fate would have it, Falon caught the DA during a very rough time,
which ended with their disbandment. However, Falon liked the idea
of fighting for the light in an organized way, so he decided to
seek out another guild.
But
before he would come to join another one, he was confronted by a mage.
This mage, though perhaps weak by today's standards, was very powerful
at the time. He scolded Falon for having a life that did not serve
the light in the correct way. He told Falon that rather than killing
him, the mage planned on giving Falon another chance. Falon would
be transformed back into his younger self, shooting him back about
15 years. However, this mage was a bit overconfident and a few things
went wrong. Firstly, the younger version was only half human - his
"true" form was that of a small dragon, though he could switch between
dragon and human form at any time. The other thing was that the old
Falon, now known as FalnAngel, still existed! The two Falons had a
connection like many twins say they do; when one was in danger, the
other could feel it, and such.
The younger Falon (who shall now
be referred to simply as Falon) found a man named IceLions. This
man spoke of a family that was like no other : the Brotherhood of
the Rose. Falon was accepted into their ranks less than a week later.
At this time, Falon was the youngest of over one hundred members.
In the years that would follow, he would often be viewed as being
younger than most of the brotherhood. It was at this time that he
met a man named Elandor. Elandor was a Corpe Commander at the time,
and Falon immediately looked up to him. Soon after, however, there
was the most dramatic departure of a BoR member that the BoR has
ever seen, and probably will ever see. Of course, it was Lord Dredd's
removal. Everyone knows that story, so it will not be discussed
in depth in this text.
As for the old Falon...he lived off
of other people's charity, developing several strong friendships
and even a wife at one time. He never joined another guild, though.
Falon was always worried about him, because he would always make
enemies and then leave, hoping not to run into any of them again.
Well, as any intelligent man could have predicted, the old Falon
met up with a few of his enemies. The first two he managed to strike
down...the third, however, had some assassins on his side, and the
old Falon was killed.
Falon did not like this news. He
spent five years investigating the cause of the murder, and the
situation became resolved. While he was gone, Elandor, who had been
the BoR's GC since Dredd left, decided to resign. This troubled
Falon a very great deal. However, Falon vowed not to lose contact
with Elandor, and he remains in contact with him, even today.
There are hundreds upon hundreds
of stories that Falon could share with any who care to listen of
the old Brotherhood...as it turns out, Falon is the only member
that remains in today's BoR. It is rumored that some old BoR members
are mentally in control of some current members, but Falon is the
only one that remains in the flesh.
And so today, Falon is an old man
in human form, though still a relatively young dragon. Falon has
his 50 cows that he picked up over his stay with the Brotherhood.
His original self is merely a memory. Falon served on the command
staff of the BoR for a while, but has since been doing more legion
work. However, Falon sticks to his original vow to leave the Brotherhood
only upon death or removal.
