You talked to me yesterday to basically say that you just wanted to be friends. Immediately I pretended to be feeling similarly and led you to believe that I was ok and just walked away from the one thing that was unyielding and sacred to me. Well I guess I'm tryin to be nonchalant (uh-oh... big word... lol) about it and I'm going to extremes to prove I'm fine without you, but in reality, I'm slowly losing my mind underneath the disguise of a smile and gradually I'm dying inside.
Friends ask me how I feel and I lie convincingly
because I don't want to reveal the fact that I'm suffering so I wear my disguise till I go home at night and turn down the lights and then break down and cry. So what do you do when somebody you're devoted to suddenly just stops talking to you and it seems they haven't got a clue of the pain that rejection is putting you through? Do you cling to your pride and sing "I will survive"? Do you hold on in vain as they just slip away? *NOTE: By the way, no, it's not an obsession, it's more like an attraction (hehe)!*
But don't you guys really agree with me about what I've said? I mean, there are really some peeps that do think lying about their feelings for someone else is really gonna help them by not getting hurt, but I think that in reality, everyone knows that if you hide your feelings for someone else, you will get hurt even more especially if that person is so damn fine (hehe)! But then, everyone is scared of rejection, which is ok I guess, but the only think that you gotta ask yourself is are you willing to find out the outcome even if it's good or bad, I personally think that you should always take that chance because you really don't know how the other person thinks of you until you ask them and there is always (well I shouldn't say always because there were some cases where it wasn't, but I'll say most likely) a good chance that person likes you as much as you like them especially if you talk and really know them. But really you don't even have to really know them because when you are going out with them, then you can find out more about them, which is something good to experience! Well, that's about all I have about that for now! I hope ya'll enjoyed for the ones that did read it, if it was boring, sorry you had to read that, but anyway pzz out and enjoy the rest of this webpage!
