-In the gym-
I was in there doing my floor routine. Then they all walked in. “It’s about time you people got here!” I said stopping the music.
“Well, its all Nick’s fault. He wouldn’t get out,” said Brian coming over to hug me.
“Well I have the perfect routine to show you guys. It’s to your song ‘Quit Paying Games With My Heart’ I won states with it last year.” I started the music and got into my starting pose. I went through the whole routine flawless.
“Wow you got a lot better then the last time I saw you!” Brian said surprised.
“Well duh! So, what do you guys want to do? I don’t think you guys want to watch me practice for like an hour,” I said.
“Well maybe I want to,” said Brian twirling me around.
“I have the greatest idea for tonight since no one’s going anywhere,” AJ suggested.
“Well, what is it?” I asked still in Brian’s arms.
“Truth or Dare,” he said.
“That’s a baby game,” said Nick.
“Well, I think it’s a great idea,” said Meg.
“Well, I like it too,” said Nick changing his mind and looking at Meg.
“So let's go people, I don’t want you to just sit there and freeze in you swim suits.” I said going to the door.
“That’s a good idea. I’m freezing my butt off in this towel!” said Meg shivering.
“This better?” asked Nick wrapping his arms around her.
“Perfect,” said Meg softly, smiling up at him. When we finally got to my room, we were tired from all the running past the fans.
“Now I know how you guys live,” I said panting for breath, “I don’t think I’ve ever run so fast in my life. Those little spunky girls are sure fast little things.”
“You get used to it after a while,” said Brian although it still kinda got on his nerves.
“We’re going to get changed. You guys can wait in the living room,” I said.
“You mean we can’t watch.” Said Nick, letting go of Meg as she walked into the bedroom.
“Nope sorry hon!” I said.
“Darn!” he said.
“We’ll be right back,” I said walking into the room I shared with Meg. Sarah, Erin, and Ashley went into their own room. “So what do you think of Nick?” I asked Meg.
“What do you mean?” she asked.
“Well, first of all he’s been staring at you since he first saw you. He’s falling totally head over heels for you!”
“He’s totally adorable, sweet, nice, caring, funny, and literally perfect!” she gushed. “Well now that I’ve blabbed everything about Nick, what about you and Brian?”
“Well, he’s totally hot, nice, caring, funny, and is still the same Brian I saw seven years ago,” I admitted.
“Are you two going out?” she asked.
“Well, I don’t know. I only saw him today.”
“Well he’s totally head over heels for you too. He even told us when you went up to go change and we were still at the pool.”
“Ready?” I asked trying to change the topic.
“Yeah lets go,” she said.
“Hey Bri!” I said running over to hug him.
“Hey-e!” he said surprised.
“So what were you talking about?” I asked.
“Guy stuff,” he said.
“What guy stuff?” I asked.
“None of your business guy stuff,” he said.
“Oh poof!” I said. “Look who’s here.”
“Sorry we took so long but Ashley over here couldn’t find anything to wear," said Sarah.
“Well excuse me for living!” said Ashley.
“Girls we have company, no cat fights,” I said sarcastically.
“Let’s start with the game!” said Kevin excitedly.
“Okay, since you thought of the game then you can ask first,” I said.
“Hmmm. Let’s see who can be my first victim.” He said. “Nick, truth or dare.”
“Um, lets start out with truth.” He said.
“Oh what a chicken,” said Kevin, “I better make it a good one. Do you have the hots for Meg?”
“That’s not fair, I want a better question.” Nick whined.
“That is a good question,” I said looking at Meg. She smiled.
“Yes, that’s my answer,” Nick said blushing. I looked at Liz she was blushing too.
“Now that wasn’t so hard now was it,” I said to Nick.
“Yeah, whatever,” he mumbled, “Now it’s my turn. Brian, truth or dare?”
“Dare, I’m not chicken like some people,” he said.
“I dare you to sleep with Catie for one night,” he said.
“Hey that’s not fair. It’s his dare so why do I have to be in it?” I said.
“Why not?” asked Nick.
“Because..it’s again my will. What do he have to prove anyway?” I asked.
“Nothing it’s just a dare.” He said.
“Well, if you have nothing to prove then why do it at all?” I asked.
“It’s the fun of the game,” he said, “well since Meg was part of my truth I still had to do it, so why don’t you.”
I had nothing to argue about that. ‘What am I supposed to do?’ I thought to myself. I just sat and sulked, hoping that everyone would forget by the end of the game. ‘I’m going to kill Kevin for bringing this up!’
By the end of the game, there were some declared loves and some funny jokes. “Hey what about my dare to Brian?” asked Nick trying to bring me down.
“Catie doesn’t want to so I don’t think we have to.” Brian said.
“Well, a dare’s a dare. You’ve got to.” Nick said.
“Whatever no more fights I’ve had enough of this!” I said tired of the bickering because of this.
“Go and we’ll let you out in the morning,” Meg said to me trying to make it sound like no big deal.
“If it wasn’t for the dare I would never be doing this,” I said to Brian.
“Okay, okay,” he said.
“We’ll come back in the morning to let you guys out. Goodnight!” said Nick closing and locking the door.
‘I’m going to kill him when I get up!’ I thought.
“We have to talk,” Brian said to me.
“I know,” I said lying on the bed.
“What’s going on between us?” he asked getting on the bed.
“I don’t know,” I said. I had all these mixed emotions inside. “Can we talk about it in the morning? I’m tired from what’s been happening today.”
“Okay, goodnight,” he said kissing me on the head.
“Goodnight, love you,” I said before falling asleep.
“Love you too,” he said.
