-In my room-
This was the only place I could think of that I could keep away from Brian. ‘Why to me? I thought he loved me,' I thought. There were tears in my eyes.
“Catie there you are,” said Meg.
“How could he do this to me?” I said to Meg sobbing.
“I don’t know,” said Meg giving me a hug. Meg was always the calm one when it came to these things. She would always think there would be a good explanation.
“I thought he said he loved me,” I said.
* KNOCK KNOCK *
“Who is it?” asked Meg.
“It’s us,” said Brian and Nick.
“I don’t want to see you right now,” I yelled to the door.
“Neither do I,” said Meg.
“Fine, we’ll meet you at the restaurant,” said Brian. We didn’t say anything back. We could hear them leave.
“I’m hungry. We should get going to the restaurant, we wouldn’t want Ashley, Sarah, and Erin to get worried.” Said Meg.
“Okay, sure.” I said.
-At the restaurant-
“Where’s Nick, Meg, Brian, and Catie? How are we supposed to have a dinner party without the guest of honor?” asked Howie.
“Speaking of them here they are,” said Erin when Nick and Brian walked in.
“Where’s the girls?” asked AJ.
“We ran into a little problem. Leigh Anne and Ariel showed up. And even worse, Ariel showed up with a kid.” Said Brian.
“Ohmigod, Catie and Meg are going to be devastated,” said Ashley.
“They already are, how am I supposed to make it up to her,” said Brian.
“Hey guys,” I said walking in. “Did you guys order yet?” I took a seat the farthest from Brian, Meg sat next to me.
“I guess you heard I’m going to go on tour with you guys and be your new choreographer!” I said like nothing is wrong. Dinner went smoothly without anything wrong, nobody mentioned what happened at the hotel.
“Catie I can explain everything,” said Brian when we were walking out of the restauraunt.
“How could you do this to me? After everything, you said you loved me, and I believed you,” I said.
“I do love you, she was a girlfriend that used me. She just used me to get her a singing contract,” he said.
“How do I know your not lying? It hurt a lot when I saw you with her,” I said.
“I don’t know but I’m telling you I love you and I would never do anything to hurt you,” he said. I knew that he meant it. I gave him a big hug.
“I missed you,” I said in tears.
“I missed you too,” he said.
-Meanwhile with Nick and Meg-
“Meg wait up,” said Nick.
“Why?” she said speeding her pace faster.
“I want to talk, it wasn’t how it looked back there,” he said finally catching up to her.
“Then what was it?” she said stopping. You could tell she was pissed.
“Ariel and Leigh Anne were old girlfriends, we told them it was over a long time ago,” said Nick.
“Then what were they doing there?” she asked.
“We don’t know they just popped up,” said Nick.
“Was that your kid?” asked Meg after a long pause.
“I don’t know, I don’t think so because she was cheating on me with another guy,” said Nick.
“How do you know?” she asked.
“I just do, I also know that we belong together and that I’m sorry,” said Nick.
“I’ve missed you,” said Meg giving him a big hug.
“I’ve missed you too,” said Nick.
