The Ancient is never given a name during the show, so instead, he is called "The Ancient!" How original, isn't it? The Ancient was born many, many years ago, and was the first to defeat Talpa. It was the Ancient who took Talpa's armor and made the 9 (14 if you count the women, which I'm asking you do) armors, and chose the ronins. All along the ronins' way, the Ancient has been there, leading the way. After his death, Anubis took his place, but that's another story... The Ancient is a warrior, and a monk, but most of all, he is a friend and leader. Without the Ancient, the ronins would never have saved the world.
