Labor Day 2001

South end of Bowden yard, Jacksonville, Fl.
FEC 105 with a couple of C40-9W gets 12,000 feet of autoracks and containers out of the yard.

St Johns' River bridge, Jacksonville, Fl.
NS 239 finally makes it across the river as the sky is getting ready for the typical afternoon thunderstorm. NS 239 just like 209 this morning has a short train.

St Johns' River bridge, Jacksonville, Fl.
Y108 is bringing another load across the river. Traffic includes intermodal, autoracks, freight and even Tropicana cars.
Waiting behind to go across the river, is another NS intermodal train, and another FEC transfer from NS. However, I do not stick around the bridge as lightning is getting closer by the minute.

South end of Bowden yard, Jacksonville, Fl.
FEC 107 with 2 "Speedways" in the lead finally moves out of the yard with barely enough light to shoot.
