Breakin' Records and Turnin' Heads

Muahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Us here at "party like NSYNC" are giddy and proud as can be of our boys. Why? Read this:

It's official: 'N Sync is now bigger than the Backstreet Boys. Before you BSB fans start firing off flaming emails, there's actual proof. The newer prefab Florida quintet has accomplished something that eluded the older prefab Florida quintet: 'N Sync's latest, NSA, became the first album to sell more than 1 million copies in one day. According to the group's label, Jive, the boy band tapped out piggy banks nationwide to the tune of 1.1 million in first-day sales Tuesday. And with a negligible drop-off in subsequent days (you can't underestimate the number of Justin-crazed girls out there), label sources estimate first-week figures could triple the one-week record of 1.13 million, set last year by Backstreet's Millennium. (Millennium sold about 500,000 copies on day one. To paraphrase JC, Justin, Chris, Joey and Lance, Backstreet can kiss its short-lived sales mark "Bye, Bye, Bye." In addition to NSA and Millennium, Garth Brooks' Double Live is the only other album with first-week sales topping 1 million. "We want to prove to people that we're not a flash in the pan," JC tells Reuters. "The second album is about crediblity, really. Anybody can be a one-album group." Right on, JC. No Strings, a lock to dethrone Santana's Supernatural on the charts next week, is the teenybopper's third album (the second if you don't count their Yuletide collection, Home for Christmas) and first on Jive. The 'N Sync-ers made a lawsuit-laden jump from RCA to Jive in December, a move that made 'N Sync and BSB label mates.

If you didn't read all that, basically it said that NSync just kicked Backstreet's pansy asses the first day of the release of NSA. That's right, baby. An estimated 1.1 million copies were sold, towering over BSB's 500,000 when they released, "Millenium". WHAT NOW, Boys? Huh? That's right, you bettah get up. My heart is bursting with joy, I feel like a soccer mom who's 8 year old just scored the winning goal for the championship game. All of NSync's hard work has finally paid off. They've gained the respect from their peers, silenced doubters, and kept their promise of a great album to all their die hard fans. But most of all, through all the chaos, they've managed to keep a straight head and look on to what's next. They haven't stopped working and trying to please us, instead, making sure we know that to look forward to. Now THAT'S what I'm talkin' about.

Now it's $$'s turn. Go 'head, Billz, go on wich yo bad self:

Like I have said before, and I'll say it again....BYE BYE BYE BSB. Hang your sorry heads in shame while our boys dance all over your precious record. I am so proud. Just proud. And I want to say that we are like the BEST fans in the world. NSA on the first day. Yep, that about sums it up. They definetly lived up to the expectations that were set. *N SYNC just goes out and proves themselves every single time. No bullshit. No talk. Just proof. And that is why I love them. Amen.
