Write PAX & Let Them Know Letters

Hello guys, well I got a revelation just now about letting PAX know we want Little Men for a third season!!

If you want to contribute a note so that everyone may read it on my webpage and I will let PAX know about it so that they can read what we have to say all at one spot. Clearly think about what you want to say, and then email it to me at Minuet26@aol.com and I will put it on this page for all to read, including PAX. Please everyone contribute, the more pleas and letters, etc. on this page, then the more of a positive effect it will have for our effort to keep Little Men alive on PAX. We must hurry and submit these letters, because PAX will be making that decision in the very next week possibly, because Little Men will stop shooting the last(13th) episode on October 1 and we need them to know what we think before that, you just write them and email them to me, and I will post them here!! We can do it guys!!!

Here's my note that I had sent to PAX and I will also include here.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hello, I am a Little Men fan, and I realize that PAX will be soon to make their decision on buying 9 more episodes of LM very soon for the extension of the 2nd season to a longer amount than just 13 episodes. I want to first of all thank PAX for having the greatest show on television on your station and that I watch it every Friday, it gives me something to look forward to in the week, it sort of gets me through the week knowing that LM will be playing on friday nights, it is getaway from the problems of the day.The cast and crew as well as the writers are great. I commend you guys on giving the show a chance to find a new production company and buying a second season, but now us fans want more, we don't want you to cancel this show, I do watch the other shows on your station, but LM is my favorite,it has drama, romance, a time period show, and overall it is just beautiful and witty and I love it!! I beg you, all of us LM fans from the forum and for those silent votes beg you to buy those other 9 episodes!!! There are many examples of how LM has affected different people's lives, some of us even have the very best friends that we have met because of this show, and I for one can attain to this because of the LM forum that you have set up, I met a fellow LM fan that ended up living only 20 minutes from my very own house, we could not believe that, it was so funny, what are the odds of that when you are on the internet and with so many people in the world, well we met and have kept in touch and we watch LM episodes together all of the time. I do not know who should see this, but please send this entire note to everyone that matters at PAX all the way up to Bud Paxson himself, he deserves to know what he has inspired from his loving station. Please don't sell out to NBC or at least don't let them get control of the only thing that some of us in this world think of as the only thing worth watching on television. Stick it out, God and everyone will love it the more if you keep up programming this way right now, because i would only let young children watch your station and no other, your station has trust built with it now, many of the other stations have let us down on that attribute(trust). I am actually planning a LM Convention for July 2000 and this is based on PAX decision to renew LM for a third season and you will see me again begging for that, us the fans want to meet the people who make it partly possible after PAX to have one of the few good family shows with moral values still on TV. Please make this convention possible for us, we are counting on PAX!!! Sincerely, a loyal PAX Fan(especially Little Men) and to clear the subject that many of the TV analysts have to say about your station, I am 22 and enjoy your station, everyone that watches LM are younger than me or only a little bit older, i don't know where they get their stats that only people over 55 watch your station, because i am not over 55, at least i hope i am not, my life would be over before i know it then.
Lauren :)
Pax, et all, I absolutely love "Little Men," and I would go to the end of the earth to keep it on the air and to make sure that I always have a complete season to watch every year. LM has in many ways replaced my traditions that I have with another one of my favorite shows, "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman." I'm a younger fan, so that story lines that deal with growing up, etc., are very appealing, informative, and useful to me!!! LM is also an ironic show in todays age. It teaches good morals instead of encouraging bad ones. The ratings are not at their best, but there is room for them to grow with a little time and effort. Please keep LM on the air!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am a 48 year old fan of Little Men and am hoping that an additional 9 episodes will be ordered. This show is in a very tough time slot, both on Saturdays, a dead night, and on Fridays opposite Providence and the ABC lineup of teen shows. I think that after being in reruns for so long prior to the start of the season, and up against the major networks, that Little Men is holding steady and that this is amazing! And, what could you put in these awful timeslots against that competition that could do much better?? Is PAX supposed to only air reruns or cheap to produce "documentaries" such as "It's a Miracle??"

Also, PAX has never addressed the issue of visibility, both for LM and for PAX network itself. It is not considered to be a network by many Web sites--I would think PAX would make the effort to promote itself, and hence, its shows. It's inexcusable that many TV sections don't list PAX as a network, and that in certain publications, Little Men isn't even on the schedule. Surely, PAX should take responsibility for having its shows listed --how can a show build an audience if it "doesn't exist" in the TV listings??

I truly hope that PAX takes the value of LM seriously and that PAX is not judging the show on the basis of what NBC wants. Furthermore, I hope PAX reconsiders its apparent lack of interest in the network and Little Men's visibility and truly give this show the support it needs to have a fighting chance.

I don't know how my age (52) will affect the sponsors, but Little Men is one of my favorite shows on any network. My mother (80+) is also a big fan and one of us always phones the other on Friday night to make sure we haven't forgotten to tune in.

There have been other show that got slow starts in the ratings, but turned out to be classics. I think Little Men will bring in a big audience as word goes around about it's quality. I do hope PAX will bring LM back for a 3rd season.

Dear Pax:

I am a big fan of _Little Men_ and I hope you will decide to keep it on the air! TV was once described as a "wasteland"; and as the "wasteland grows ever more hostile, we desperately need an "oasis" like _Little Men_ -- A show about love, caring, and human relationships that can provide entertainment without resorting to "easy" devices like sex and violence.

My feeling is that if more people knew about _Little Men_ the show would skyrocket in popularity!

Dear PAX,

I want to let you know, how MUCH "Little Men" means to us fans. It gives some of us hope, shows others what it means to be a family, and still others, it helps them to realize that there are ways to solve problems without resorting to violence. There are so many good things that people can get out "Little Men", it's just a shock for us to think that "Little Men" could possibly cancel, or cease to show more episodes. There are so few shows these days, that actually bother with teaching family lessons, and I want to thank PAX for having a lot of them on your station; "Touched by an Angel", "Highway to Heaven", "Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman", Hope Island", ect. But, "Little Men" is definantly one of the best, the show teaches moral lessons, family values, and how to love one another. While at the same time, it brings out drama, suspense, and laughter.

I hope that you will continue to run new episodes of "Little Men", it is one of the best shows there ever was. It has put its mark in my life, and I try to take the lessons that it teaches, and show them in my everyday life. And while I would not want to try and do things the way that characters do in some TV shows, I know that without a doubt, I am not doing any harm in doing this with "Little Men". Why? Because "Little Men" is truly one of the best shows that a person could watch. It shows the same values that "Dr. Quinn" did, and while "Dr. Quinn" canceled, much to the disappointment of so many fans, "Little Men" has drawn several new fans because of the cancellation of Dr. Quinn. "Little Men", shows the same quality family entertainment that "Dr. Quinn" did, and so the fans of "Dr. Quinn" can see another great show, that is in the same spirit of the show they lost. And we're trusting in you, to make sure that "Little Men" does not end up in the same place as "Dr. Quinn" did. We hope that you will make it possible for us to see "Little Men" for years to come. Thank you for all your great shows, and special thanks for reading our letters, and listening.

Sincerely,

Naomi L. H.

I'm sure many times viewers contact the head office to show their dissatisfaction with particular programs but I'd like to do the complete opposite. I am contacting you to voice my praise for the tv show "Little Men".. I'd like to personally thank you and your staff for making it possible for this show to be in its second season. I continue to watch the reruns from last season which I had videotaped, and still find joy and great entertainment value in them. Even though only one episode of the second season has been shown I believe that this show has even gotten better. I'm sure we'll be able to enjoy getting to see more depth in the characters and the storylines because of the talent of the writers, producers, and crew. I'm looking forward to the continuance of the great tradition that these terrific actors began in the first season. I believe that by renewing this show you have truly shown that the PAX Network is "a friend of the family".

I'm a loyal viewer of PAX and its wonderful lineup of quality television programming, and I appreciate your time in reading my letter.

Sincerely,

Karin

Dear PAX TV:

Little Men captured my heart from the very first episode and it continues to each and every week. Even over this summer I never tired of watching the episodes time and time again. For each time I watched, I got something else of value out of the show. Little Men is a true classic. Louisa May Alcott's books are considered classics and this series has followed suit.

It's a beautiful show about life, about love, about morals, that are real. Though the series takes place in a different era, the issues and themes of the stories are timeless. It's wonderful to have a series that handles situations with love being the center. People need Little Men to continue for its strength and truth.

Little Men is more than a mere television series. It has not only brought countless hours of beloved entertainment to so many and but has touched hearts as well and have brought hearts together in real life. Many treasured friends and the best of friendships have formed from the love for this show. I know, it happened to me.

It would be wonderful if PAX looked beyond television ratings and profit and would look into the hearts of all the Little Men fans and admirers and realize that this series has so much value, and so much to offer, that one cannot put it into words and it deserves to continue, that it must.

Thank you so much PAX TV for bringing this high quality, beautiful series to television. May it continue on for years to come. It really is the best.

yours truly,

Vickie

To Whom it may concern

I can't give my name but I just know that you like to know that I am a fan of LM and that LM is one of my favorite shows I would really appreciate of you would keep it on Air. Most of my friends that watch TV has seen LM and the say that it is not right to take it away. This show of Little Men has been the talk over my school and they don't know that (some one ) want's to take it away and if I told them they, and I , would make a boycot to bring Little Men to live again. I don't think that a boycot could be good for your company. That is all I can say and I hope to know that you will reconsider ,(the thing,)taking LM away. I would start a strike out if I don't see it one of this days.

Thank you for your attention and bye

Sincerely yours

To Whom It May Concern at Pax:

I am in my mid thirties and a professional woman. I watch very few television shows, because my time is so sacred to me. However, I have found Little Men to be one of those television shows (besides Jeopardy) that are worthwhile to tape when I am unable to watch it when it is on. I write letters for good service, and for bad service, and I feel that you are performing a great service by airing Little Men. The show is for all ages, genders, and races. It depicts realism, and in my opinion even gives younger viewers the opportunity to see how the same problems that they face today were handled 100 years ago. I even believe that Miss Alcott is probably smiling down on the show.

Please, for those of us who are at a point in our lives that we have so little time to sit down and relax don't take cancel the one Friday night television show that is worth sitting down and watching or taping.

Thank you for listening to the fans (public opinion), and not the ratings. After all, they don't really count, because they don't represent the entire United States and Canada since PAX is not seen everywhere. If PAX were seen everywhere, then there is no doubt that Little Men would be in the top ten of mosted watched television shows.

Thank you

Dear Mr. Paxson:

I am writing to urge you to do all you can to promote LITTLE MEN and see that it is renewed for a third season. This program is the best on TV...cable or broadcast! If people would only watch a couple of episodes, they would realize what a gem of a program they are missing.

There are very few programs of this high caliber anymore and it would be a shame if it were cancelled. I hope this program has a long run!

Sincerely,

Jonathan K. jonathan@paxemail.com

Greetings PAX TV:

The fans of LITTLE MEN are imploring you to keep the moving, and fascinating series on the air. Please make nine more episodes that we so dearly want to see. So many of the shows on television have violence, sex and language that we do not want to see or hear. Speaking for myself I look foward to seeing LITTLE MEN every Friday and Saturday night. It is my unwinding time that I so dearly love. I love to laugh, cry and watch for tender moments between the actors on the show. Please keep it going for me, and all of the fans that so dearly love it as much as I do.

Thank you,

Margot Hoffman

To Whom It May Concern:

With all the letters you have received thus far concerning Little Men, here is yet another one. I’d first of all like to take this opportunity to remind you that Little Men is completely and utterly family entertainment, and we all have to admit that there’s not much left of that anymore. I’m not saying I don’t enjoy those shows that you can’t sit down and watch with your family, but Little Men is still a wonderful show and it’s so nice to have a break from the stereo-type world that we live in now.

I’d also have to say that by jeopardizing Little Men’s airing time will…well, not so much devastate its fans, but…well, yeah. It would devastate us. We who sit down in front of the TV every Friday night and indulge ourselves with brand new challenges that some of our favorite characters have to face. We who go to the forums and express our ideas (By the way, you should really check out the PAX Little Men forums, everyone is really friendly there. Maybe some of that quality family style from one of our favorite shows has rubbed off on us…). We who attend the chats as much as we can, and write fan fiction in hopes that our fellow fans will enjoy it as well. I ask you, and I’m not getting angry with you, I’m just asking, why would you want to cancel such a wonderful show that so many people enjoy?

I’d also have to say that by canceling this show you’d not only be letting the fans and actors and actresses that worked so hard to get where they are, there’s also a possibility that you’d be dampening your ratings of your own station. Now, I know there are a lot of people who watch some of your other shows, but frankly the only show I do watch on your channel is, what else, Little Men. And that means of course if you take Little Men off the air I suppose that means there’s nothing for me to watch on your channel anymore and I’d have to find somewhere else to enjoy the occasional family entertainment, which would be next to impossible.

So I do want to tell you that you really should think long and hard about this before you make any rash decisions, and I can only hope you’ll listen to us fans who are reaching out to you to keep a great show like Little Men on the air. Think about it, why would you think Little Men wouldn’t get good ratings if there are so many people against the idea of it coming off the air? Until next time, and thanks!

Cordially, Sara

Dear PAX,

I am a loyal fan of Little Men, and I want you to bring this wonderful show back for a third season. Even though the ratings haven't been at their best, there are so many loyal fans that love this show and would do anything to support it including me. The ratings aren't that good because it competes with ABC's TGIF programming lineup, NBC's Providence and CBS's Kids Say the Darnest Things and Candid Camera. Maybe if you move the night it will have a more certain future. You just cannot cancel this show.

Thank you so much.

Yours Truly,

Dear Pax,

I am a 15 year old, who is very concerned about the future of my favorite show 'Little Men'. There have been rumors that it may be cancelled! If this is true, please don't! I am one of the MANY loyal fans of this show.

I thought your goal was to provide quality family programming that everyone can watch, as a sort of haven from some of the awful television that is out there. 'Little Men' is the perfect example of this quality programming, that you have graciously provided. I have found it to be full, rather overflowing, with what makes a show great ; romance, drama, and comedy,(not to mention some really cute actors) along with virtues and morals which is something that is rarely seen anymore)...it's all there, perfect for all ages!!

I want to thank you for 'Little Men', even if you do cancel it. It is the only show that I find myself getting swept into. I feel as if I actually know the characters and experience what they are experiencing. I've definately fallen for 'Little Men', don't you think? =) Also, if you hadn't made this show, I wouldn't have met some really great people (on the 'Little Men' forum) who I've become really close to.

Thanks again, and please don't cancel my all-time favorite show! I beg you! At least finish season 2 , if you find that you absolutely must cancel it. I strongly believe that if you would keep it running, and allow us fans to get the word out about it, it's ratings would go sky high.

Sincerely and desperately,

Kathryn Strickland <><

To Whom it may concern @ PaxTV

I have appreciated Little Men since it's first episode,the stories are well written ,the characters engaging...it's a show that the whole family can sit and watch together. I think the new production company,Motion International,is doing a superior job to the first company.It has become a show that I wouldn't miss .

I am sending this message of support for the show in the hopes that more episodes will be ordered for this season,indeed that the show will be on for a long time to come! I know that ratings are important to a company,but as a viewer I do not believe in them;I have never had a Nielsen box,nor knew ANYONE who did! I am in the supposedly prized demographic(18-49)group,but I am disturbed when I read comments about older viewers and how their viewership doesn't appear to matter.Isn't this discriminatory? Thank you for airing Little Men

Sincerely,

Janet Gilmartin

Dear PAXTV,

There are few quality shows on tv now. Little Men is one of them. At first, i wasn't sure I would like it, because it didn't follow the books of Louisa may Alcott exactly. however, after watching a few episodes, I realised it followed the spirit of her books. Love, friendship and caring are all a part of the series. This is what made me fall in love with her writing, and what makes me want to keep watching new episodes of the show. Please renew the show. Thank you.

Dear Pax TV:

I wanted to comment on one of your programs that has been rumored that it might not be renewed: Little Men.

First, I like to thank you for putting this program on your network. As you can tell I'm very fond of this program-- more accurately ITS MY FAVORITE SHOW. I know for a fact that I'm not alone in this. If you take a good look at the Little Men Forum, you'll how much this show means to all of us devoted fans. Please keep this show on the air and renew it for the next season and the one after that and so on. This show is not only fun but its educational--- you learn about life in another era, you learn family values that still apply today and its based a book by Louisa May Alcott!!

Please don't be like all the other networks who don't show family oriented programs-- stay like you are, please!!! And please buy the next episodes of LITTLE MEN for the next season.

Thank you for you time,

A devoted Little Men fan—Cassie

Dear PAX,

I AM BEGGING YOU!!!! PLEASE do not cancel Little Men!!!! Don't think about profits or gross net at a time like this. Think about the positive impact LM has made in so many lives of people from every age group. No longer do people have to choose from immoral shows when deciding what to watch on TV on Friday nights. They can tune into PAX TV and watch an enriching, captivating show that promotes values. The plots are wonderful, the humor is clean and witty, the characters are intriguing, and the actors/actresses are superb in their portrayals. Who cares if the ratings aren't exactly what you wanted? You should have expected such a challenge in creating a Christian network. Anyways, polls cannot accurately report on the success of the show. LM means the world to me and to many other people I know. Don't disappoint us!

Dear PAX:

I enjoy watching your show Little Men. It has a very special meaning to me. You see, the show Little Men saved my life. A few months ago I was involved with a group that was dragging me down. They were the Gothic click at my school. They were into witchcraft, black magic, and other things related to that, and I was falling into their trap and lies of being 'wanted.' At my school if you weren't popular it was best not to even try to speak because someone might hurt you. I was not popular because I lived in the 'country,' so I was labeled a nobody. Then I met the Goths and the main leader began dating me. I was wanted, but I knew something was not right in my life. One evening I turned on my TV and found a new station, PAX. I decided to see what it was all about. The episode of Little Men where Nan arrived was the one on.

I watched it and realized that I was like Nan. My mother died when I was nine and my father didn't hang around much. Then I got up and looked into the mirror. I did not like what I saw. I realized that people were not seeing ME, but the black I wore. I knew I had to get out then. It was hard at first because all the Goths kept telling me I would not make it without them. But I made new, GOOD friends and watched PAX all the time. When the Columbine Shooting happened, all my former Goth friends were taken to the school police to be questioned and some were suspended. I was not asked any questions though, but the school principal asked me what had made me change. I told him about Little Men and he said he would watch it. On the last day of school I found out that my Principal had told all the teachers about Little Men and they all watched it too.

I am so thankful I was flipping channels that day and found Little Men. If I hadn't, I might be in jail or even dead now. I pray that PAX will make the Nine more episodes this season. You never know who might be flipping channels, looking for Hope. Little Men is worth the 9 extra shows.

Thank You,

~Sarah

Dear PAX,

I am writing to support the renewal of the outstanding show Little Men. It is a very well made program, with good acting and excellent production values. The plots and characters are always engaging and entertaining. I think that Little Men's ratings would be higher if it were more publicized; every time I have mentioned to show to friends, they say that they have never heard of it.

As far as demographics go, I am a 43 year old woman and I live in Manhattan. I am a graduate student in an art-related field. From reading PAX's Little Men forum, I know that there are fans of all ages all over the U.S. Please give Little Men a chance!

Very truly yours,

Ellie

Dear PAX,

I have been a loyal viewer of the television program, Little Men, since the first episode. I love literature and when I found one of the classics was to come to life on the small screen I couldn't miss it. Now I have my entire family hooked on the show and we all get together every Friday night to share the experience. In fact, my sister and a few of my friends who usually hate reading are now enjoying Little Men and have expressed an interest in reading other classics. It is rare a television program has the capacity to educate their viewers while still maintaining their value of entertainment but Little Men has done just that.

Little Men's family oriented themes and story lines is another added bonus to this show. In a time when everyhing is sex driven it is refreshing to enjoy a program that relies on its writing and character development and not shock value to maintain viewer loyalty. I hope to see this unique blend of entertainment, education, and talent continue.

Sincerely,

Jeanette Levandowski

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dear PAX,
I love your show Little Men. It has a great story, cast, great writers, and so on, but most of all, it has great morals, unlike other shows on television today. This show proves that you can entertain a large number of people without obscene language, obnoxious behavior, and sex.
The way I understand PAX, or the way PAX seems to present itself, is a station that promotes good things and good quality television. To me this means that you air shows with good morals and virtues. So if this is true, why would you even consider taking that off the air. Television needs more stations like you.
Since NBC has bought a portion of PAX, maybe you, PAX, could have some influence about what's put on. Maybe NBC could help promote stuff for you and vice versa. Just a suggestion.
So, to sum this all up, I am in support of PAX in buying the next nine episodes of Little Men.
Thanks for a moment of your time,
Melanie Gibson
To Whom it May Concern,
I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy watching Little Men. The show is really well written and the story lines are very entertaining. It is refreshing to watch a show that deals with values and morals instead of sex and violence. I also enjoy the relationship Jo has with the children. I look forward to the upcoming episodes and I hope that PAXTV will continue to keep Little Men on the air for many seasons.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Dear PAX,

I would like to express my feelings for your new relationship with NBC, as well as my loyalty and adoration of one of your original family TV series', "Little Men."

First of all, I realize you at PAX are dedicated to creating family-friendly TV. Now, I also realize, NBC doesn't care so much about that. (They care more about their ratings) I sincerely hope that you won't change your motto. Hopefully, not too much of NBC's TV style - with violent weekend movies, as well as TV shows that explicitly display everything we don't particularly want to see (like drug-dealing, swearing, crude behavior, sex, and excessive violence) - will rub off on you. Please, PLEASE keep the good family programming that you present on your stations - at least the ones that you know have the potential of, and ARE, producing fans (such as "Little Men").

Secondly, I am a very loyal and adament fan of the great family/teen show, "Little Men." I believe this show is GREAT, and has the potential to draw lots of teens and families to it (maybe better advertising will do the trick.) It's got a great cast, and great storylines and lessons with each show. The lack of sex, drugs, unnecessary violence, and just unpleasant viewing for ANYONE is AWESOME, and should be kept on the air. So, PLEASE!!!... do not strip this great show, and its potential of becoming a classic (like Dr. Quinn) and running for numerous seasons, of it's loyal veteran and potential fans.

Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. And, PLEASE, don't let NBC's disgusting TV shows take the place of your family-friendly ones!!

Sincerely,

H. Dunkerton

To Whom It May Concern At PAX:

I wanted to let you know how much I dearly love your show "Little Men". I have grown to love and care for all the endearing characters on the show, and I look forward to it every week. I even enjoy watching the episodes again and again. In my opinion, it is the best show on the PAX network, and that's including both your reruns and your original shows. I live in a three generation household ranging in ages from 6 to 59 -- male and female -- and everyone enjoys it. I love that we can watch it together.

It's very rare to find a show that makes you laugh and cry during the course of the hour and leaves you feeling positive at the end. Since it seems to be up in the air, I strongly urge you to buy the remaining 9 episodes, and I think it would be a shame if the show does not continue for future seasons. I would also love it if the first season, which is now a classic in my book, was aired again.

I have been watching the PAX network since its inception last year, and I think "Little Men" is the embodiment of what the network stands for. A show that is like a friend of the family and one that you can share with the people you love. "Little Men" is about life in a simpler time and yet it deals with all the timeless issues we all face today. The show manages to do so in a wholesome and uplifting way without being too syrupy sweet. That's not easy to do. I hope this rare and wonderful show that I have come to love can continue on.

Thanks for your time,

Greetings PAX TELEVISION,

I am big fan of the critically acclaimed series Little Men. Your network has given me a show that I can share with people I love. My children have also become fans, and it is finally nice to be able to watch a show with my children and not be monitor or censor.

I was under the impression the the whole idea behind PAX TV was to give quality viewing back to the family. You should be very proud that your small network has not lowered itself to the level of the major networks.

Gentlemen, please save Little Men, and let us keep the fine family viewing that Little Men provides.

Thank you for your time in this matter.

Sincerely,

Dear Pax, I am a 40 year old fan of Little Men. I want to thank you for another season of my favorite show, the only one I stay home to watch. I watch a total of 2 television programs total, that's it. This is one of the few shows I can sit with my daughter and watch without having to flip the channel because of foul language and violence. The cast is perfect and if you did not renew LM for a 3rd season I would be devastated. Also, if you could please film the other 9 episodes I would be forever grateful. I have started to record LM to send to my Sister who lives in Fritch Texas. She doesn not get the PAX channel. After she see's the show, I am sure she will be hooked also. Please don't let us LM fans down. Please give us more episodes and more seasons with Nick and Jo. 13 episodes just isn't enough.

Little Men is my favorite show. The love, caring and human relationships are qualities that make this series so special. There needs to be more shows like this on television. PLEASE continue Little Men. It would be such an injustice not to. Without Little Men, television is a wasteland.

Dear PAXTV,

I am part of a very special group called the Little Men fans and we are doing something very important, we are on a Quest To Save Little Men. Please understand that this show is very important to a lot of people, and if it is canceled a lot of dedicated fans like myself will suffer. I am another one of the young fans who enjoy the show. I am 19 and have to admit Little Men is not the knid of show i am used to watching, i am more of an action kind of girl, but one episode of Little Men got me hooked and it has become my favorite show, so you can see how much of a great show it is if it turned someone like me onto it.

Another great thing about the show that is very important: the great family value the show gives out. I never had a family growing up and I still don't have much of one, but watching Little Men makes me feel, for only the second time in my life, like i am truly part of a family every Friday night. The first time was another great family show, maybe you have heard of it, The Waltons. If Little Men rates up there with the Waltons is it truly great and worthy of many more episodes and seasons to come. Please save Little Men so all the fans, and orphans, out there can have a family to come home to.

Sincerely,

Kris (aka, Xena)

Dear PAX,

Please add my name to those who are hoping that Little Men will be renewed on your station. Family entertainment is all too scarce on television, as I am sure you will agree. This program seems perfect for the PAX format, and a show I try not to miss. I hope they will all be repeated, and kept a permanent part of the PAX programming.

Sincerely,

C. Lathrop

Dear Mr. Paxson,

First of all, I want to thank you for creating such a wonderful, family geared station! Family shows are so rare these days - so rare that when we lose the ones we have, there won't be anymore - but now that you have made PAX and as long it's around, we won't have to worry about it! Maybe some more stations will follow in your footsteps. :)

If you have a list of LITTLE MEN fans, you can add me to it! I've been one ever since November 7th, and I'll be one for as long as it's on - actually, I'll be one for as long as I'm around, even after it's no longer on. LM is the best show on TV, and I don't know what I'd do if it were canceled! (Well, I would be constantly be watching my episodes on tape, but it's not the same) Please, please don't cancel it! Order nine more episodes and please give our beloved show another chance! It's too good of a series to let go of so soon…With good, wholesome values and heartwarming stories!

I know this one request, or rather PLEA will very unlikely have any influence what your decision for LITTLE MEN's future will be, but I felt I should at least write and give my two cents worth. :)

Thank you for listening,

ae

(Aka, Amy)

P.S. You do have a lot of teen viewers! I happen to be one myself, as are many of the others writing you. :)

Dear PAX:

Thank you so much for renewing Little Men. I had the great misfortune of missing its first season, but it has quickly become my favorite and I hope it continues on the air for many seasons to come.

Please continue to renew this excellent series. Personally, I feel that it is the best television currently has to offer. I love that it is exposing children and teens to the legacy of Louisa May Alcott--the heart-warming stories that many of us were raised on. Being a professional in my early thirties, that includes me. This is a show I love sharing with the young people in my influence and I appreciate knowing that I can leave the room if need be and be assured that they will not be exposed to the types of questionable programming upon which all the other networks thrive.

Please do not let NBC get their claws in so deeply that you can't see clear to continue the work you've already started. North America's families desperately need to be able to continue depending upon the trust your network has earned--we do not need another network to join the ranks of those that have sold out to the popularity of sex, violence, and vulgarity.

Those of us fortunate enough to receive the PAX signal in our communities appreciate the strong commitment you've made to family values programming up to this point. With a continued commitment to all of its family-oriented original programming, PAX has the potential to become THE family channel for the next millennium. Please do not shortchange the success of such an excellent show as Little Men simply because it has initially struggled in the ratings. With committed network promotion and the unwavering support of the fan base Little Men has already generated, it is destined to gain the success you desire. Please give Little Men the opportunity to reach its full potential.

My sincerest thanks,

Marsha

OK guys this yet another note that I myself had sent to PAX on their feedback page and I mailed it to their snail mail addresses:

Dear PAX,

hello,

I am again writing to you about Little Men, I know that you will make a decision very soon that will fortell the future of our beloved show, and I pray that you decide to keep it!!! I don't no understand why this year you hesitate at renewing LM, last year, it was in worse condition without a production company and everything and the ratings were not any better last year than this year, compared to that this year looks great--- they have a production company that seems to love the show(cast and crew) and wants to keep the show, so now the ball is in your ball park, we all beg you to give us something to come back to your station to watch every week, we have grown into such a huge LM family on the LM forum and we would miss that if you ended it so soon. :( Please help to keep something that will make your station burn into our memories as a positive image for many years to come!!!!! Please allow the talented cast and crew to continue to astound us every friday night with these timeless episodes that I know I will continue to watch many years from now(because I have all of them on tape :):)) Thanks for taking time to listening to my pleas.

Lauren :)

Dear Pax,

I have been hearing rumors that PAXTV is going to cancel the show Litle Men. I am very upset with this. My family and I love to watch Little Men because it doesn't contain sex or violance it is one of the few shows we are allowed to watch!!!! I feel PAX isn't giving Little Men the chance it deserves and that the show hould be given 9 more episodes as well as a third season.

I have also been noticing the lack of promotion for Little Men. My family and I watch hours of PAX programming and rarely see a single commercial for Little, yet we see many for shows like Destination Stardom and It's a Miracle which are your top rated shows!!!!

I want to thank you for putting out such great programming . I hope that my family and I will still be able to watch Little Men as well as other programming. I have done my part now it is up to you to do yours!!!!

Sincerely,

Laura LaRusso and Family

Dear PAX,

One of the signs of greatness is the ability to remain independent in the midst of a crowd. Your show “Little Men” does that. In a television world filled to the brim with shows that glorify vices of all sorts, “Little Men” rises above them all with the highest quality and highest standards.

It is an oasis in the midst of the desert; a single lighted candle in the midst of a maddening crowd.

I am a thirty-something young mom, definitely not a member of what you would consider your target audience, yet I am a faithful fan of “Little Men.” I do not miss an episode and, in fact, will watch each one many times. They are that good. They teach lessons for life that anyone can learn from and they enchant and challenge us at the same time. I really like the fact that your show is something that the whole family can watch together, with each of us enjoying it in our own way.

Thank you for bringing us such a great show. The writing is beautiful and the cast is excellent. It has everything it takes to become a big hit for PAX TV. Now it just needs your time and support!!!!

Please stand behind this terrific show by ordering nine more episodes for this season and then renewing it for next season!!!!

Thank you, Cubit

I am 13 years old. I love Little Men. I really love all the kids on the show especialy Trevor Blumas. They are really talented. My parents love Littl e Men too. They know I am watching a good show when it is on. They don't say anything bad or act violent. My mom won't let me watch other shows alone but she thinks it is ok for me to watch Little Men. At school all my friends watch it too. We talk about the stories and the actors and it is alot of fun. I wish PAX would not take off Little Men. It would be sad because it great show. If more kids at different schools heard about it then they would e watch it too I think.

Sincerely,

schubert fan.

Dear PAX,

I am a huge fan of Little Men. It is the most refreshing program on TV since "Road to Avonlea" which aired a few years back. It is just as charming and with time, could prove to be just as successful. When I am watching an episode of Little Men, I feel as if I have escaped to a simpler era, a time when morals and kindness to our neighboors truly existed. It would be wonderful if the world could be like this again. I feel that children should be exposed to a program like this, instead of all the senseless violence and low morals they have been seeing on other shows. Little Men is one of the few shows that can be enjoyed by all ages. This is very rare to find on TV today. It has something for everyone; romance, drama, humor, etc. To cancel a show of this quality is truly disturbing. What will there be left for children to watch that is considered safe viewing? Where else can they enjoy a wonderful hour of TV and learn so much from it? Please PAX, for the sake of all the young viewers out there, reconsider cancelling this wonderful series.

Thank you,

E. Merth

Dear PAX,

Hi! I'm 15 years old and enjoy many of the shows on your wonderful station. My absolute favorite, though, is Little Men. It's full....rather, overflowing with the "stuff" that makes a show great; romance, drama, comedy...it's all there!! LM sparks the interrest of all that watch it, not being partial to any age group. When younger kids are watching it with me, I know they're not going to see anything they shouldn't, but get a valuable lesson out of what they've watched...and enjoyed!

It seems so strange to me that all the family shows like this one die, and terrible, useless ones take their place,.. and thrive.Why?? Ratings? Is that all that matters?? Look at the shows that are currently making the highest ratings...do they give their viewers the right ideas? The right morals or virtues? Most of them don't. Take the show Popular...the first (and only episode) I saw gave the impression that it was right for a 15-16 year old to have sex with her boyfriend. Personally, I don't believe that this is true or right, and I don't think you do either. I know that if LM stayed on the air it wouldn't change this, or, any of those other show's popularity; but it would be a wonderful breath of fresh air for those of us that are absolutely sick of them. =) Well, it has been this for me, and most of my friends.

Thank you so, so much for this breath, even if it was brief. I have enjoyed it immensely! I know that Little Men's chances of being re-newed are very slim, and I understand that you're just running your business.. I'm just sotra stuck in the middle of it. Thank you for taking time to read this, I really appreciate it.

Sincerely,

Kathryn Strickland <>< center>~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

To whom it may concern,

I know that it might be too late now to be writing a letter to PAX through e-mail, but I want to give Little Men that fighting chance to stay on the air. I, like many of the viewers, fell in love with Little Men instantly. It is a show that hardly ever displays any violence and sex, which is pretty rare these days. Every person of any age can watch the show. I am 21 years old and I looked forward to the show every week. Now that PAX has given Little Men the axe, I believe that television has lost a valuable, wholesome, and family oriented show. Kids could learn a lot of moral lessons from watching the show that others don't provide such as Pokemon or the prime time teen shows. I think that Little Men has done an awesome job in trying to keep the violence out of the show while providing the viewers with pure, clean entertainment. I hope that you reward your faithful viewers by putting the show back on the air. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Camryn L.
