The JWL [Episode 7]

Live from The Ice Palace in Tampa, FL

You know the drill.

IF YOU SMELLLLLL......

LG: "Making his way to the ring, THE ROCK!

Rock enters the ring.

Rock: Finally, The Rock has come back to Tampa! The Rock has been watching the action in the JWL over the past few weeks and The Rock still hasn't seen anyone who has impressed him. The Rock dares any of those jabronies in the locker room to come out and go one on one with the Great One. If anyone has the testicular fortitude to get a piece of The Rock, then The Rock says: Just bring it. IF YOU SMELL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKING!

("War Machine" brings out Taz)

Taz enters the ring.

Taz: Listen, brother. You sent out a challenge and I answered it. You call yourself 'The Great One,' but you're dealing with a miserable, mean and nasty man. But if you can last more than five minutes with me, after the match is over, I'll shake your hand in the middle of this ring. You have to face the Path of Rage. 'Cause I'm Taz, The Human Suplex Machine. Beat me if you can, survive if I let you.

Rock accepts and we have a match.

Rock attacks, but Taz hits the Angry Man's Clothesline and a Brooklyn Boot (Yakuza/Mafia Kick.) Taz takes The Rock down and works over his neck and back on the mat, in order to soften him up for the Tazplexes and the Tazmission. Taz hooks an armbar, but Rock won't tap yet. One minute gone. Taz gets up and gives Rock a released German Tazplex. A Head and Arm Tazplex follows. Rock struggles to his feet, only to get clotheslined again. Taz covers and gets two. Two minutes gone. Rock rolls to the floor to regroup, and Taz follows him out. The crowd doesn't like either guy, so they really aren't reacting. Taz unleashes some hard forearms and punches, then a Belly to Belly Tazplex on the floor. Taz rolls Rock back in and tries for the Tazmission, but Rock hits a low blow kick to escape. Three minutes gone. Rock unleashes some punches and a big spinebuster. Rock covers and gets two. Taz spears Rock and goes for the T-Bone Tazplex, but Rock tries to counter it with the Rock Bottom. Taz elbows Rock in the head and hits the T-Bone Tazplex. Four minutes gone. Taz does the "thumb-across-the-throat" sign and goes to hook the Tazmission, and gets it! Rock struggles, but Taz sinks it in and adds the bodyscissors to make sure Rock can't go anywhere. Rob Van Dam, Rock's stablemate in the Royals, runs out to break up the hold, but he's too late, as Rock taps out, at 4:55.

LG: "Here is your winner, TAZ!"

TAZ: "Rock, I told you that if you could last more than five minutes with me, I'd shake your hand. Well, you didn't make it, so you don't get anything, you dumb son of a bitch."

RVD enters the ring to help The Rock, as he struggles to his feet. Taz, who hates RVD, attacks the despised pot-smoking pretty boy and dumps him on his head with a German Tazplex. Taz reclaims his towel, raises his arms in a victory pose, and leaves. Refs help Rock and RVD back to the dressing rooms.

Luna Vachon (w/Gangrel) vs. "The Real Deal" Selina Majors

LG: "The following women's contest is scheduled for one fall."

("Blood" plays)

LG: "Making her way to the ring, being accompanied by Gangrel and representing The Misfits, from The Other Side of Darkness, LUNA VACHON!"

Crowd pops big for Luna.

("We Will Rock You" by Queen plays)

LG: "And her opponent, representing The Revolution, from Atlanta, GA, 'THE REAL DEAL' SELINA MAJORS!"

Good pop for Selina.

The match begins and both women, being the veterans they are, proceed to rock the house with good offense and selling. Luna takes control and beats the hell out of Selina. Luna hits a DDT for two. Selina takes control and responds in kind. The crowd is getting into this one bigtime. Selina misses a corner charge and Luna hits her with Gangrel's Impaler jumping DDT. Luna then climbs the ropes and hits a big splash off the top for the win.

LG: "Here is your winner, LUNA VACHON!"

Commercial break.

"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair (w/"The Horny Little She-Devil" Terri Runnels) vs. Kanyon (w/Trish Stratus)

LG: "The following contest is scheduled for one fall."

"WHO'S BETTER THAN KANYON?"

LG: "Introducing first, being led to the ring by Trish Stratus and representing Stratusfaction Inc., from Atlanta, GA, weighing in at 245 lbs., KANYON!"

Crowd boos.

("Also Sprach Zarathustra" plays)

LG: "His opponent, being accompanied by Terri Runnels and representing The Four Horsemen, from Charlotte, NC, weighing in at 245 lbs., 'THE NATURE BOY' RIC FLAIR!"

Huge pop for Flair.

The match starts and Flair immediately begins unleashing chops. Crowd goes " "Whoo!" with every chop. Flair steps back and yells "Whoo!" right at Kanyon. Kanyon comes back with a clothesline and unleashes his unusual moveset on Flair. Kanyon hits his Swinging Fisherman's Neckbreaker for two. Flair comes back and does his usual stuff to great reactions. Kanyon responds in kind. While this is going on, Shane Douglas makes his way to the ring area with a look of insanity in his eyes. Flair hits a suplex and elbowdrop, but Shane pulls out referee Jim Molineaux before he can count the pin, and decks him. Flair continues working over Kanyon until Shane attacks him with a chair. Shane proceeds to assault Flair with the chair, a chain and anything else he can find. Kanyon joins in the beating. With the ref down, Douglas and Kanyon double-team Flair for a while. Francine runs out and attacks both Terri and Trish, resulting in a three-way catfight. Backstage enforcers Sgt. Slaughter and Gerald Brisco run out, break up the catfight, order Francine to the back, and revive the ref. Slaughter pulls Douglas out of the ring and threatens him. By this point, Flair has recovered and proceeds to take apart Kanyon's leg to set up the Figure-Four. Flair sinks it in and it looks like Kanyon is about to give up when Douglas pulls Kanyon's hands to the ropes to break the hold. Shane hands Kanyon a chair who bashes Flair a few times with it and hits the Flatliner on it. Flair somehow kicks out at 2.99999. Shane goes nuts again and runs into the ring and proceeds to beat up Flair himself. Molineaux decides that's enough and calls for the DQ. Douglas tosses Molineaux and continues with the assault. Kanyon breaks it up and gets in Shane's face, asking why Shane cost him the match. Shane attacks Kanyon and goes on a rant about how much he hates Ric Flair, Flair held him down, etc. etc. etc. The Giant runs in and chokeslams Shane three times just to get him to shut up already.
