THE REASON
----------------
Peace. Is that not what we fight for? People fear us, hate us, but we continue to fight for them, why? Why should we risk our lives, however insignificant to help them in exchange for hatred? I ask myself that now.
Why should five teenagers be forced to fight for the people who want us dead? Why should we protect them, kill for them, destroy ourselves for them? Why can't we just be normal?
As I sit here thinking, I already know the answers. We fight for the people who can't fight for themselves, the people who want the freedom and deserve it. We fight because we are able to.
We fight for true peace. We fight for freedom, love, hope, happiness. We fight for everything that we have been denied. We fight so others don't have to, so children and parents can be together untouched by the war.
We fight so more lives will not be lost, not sacrificed in vain. We fight because no matter how hard we try, we could never be normal, our violent pasts have seen to that.
Most of all, I think we fight out of love. Love for life, love for freedom, love for each other. But most of all, we fight because we love the people, love them even though they hate us, fear us, fight us.
Yes, that is the reason why we five fight. Love. I know it won'e make sense to anyone else because they don't fight as we do, they aren't Gundam Pilots.
