Hey! Welcome to my little page dedicated to Born Into Kaos. I know what you're thinking "oh great another damn Backstreet fan who just has to love everything any of them speak of or mention." With something's, I'll admit I can be a bit weird, but not this. I saw Born Into Kaos (or BIK) at the Johnny No-Name show on December 30th 2000 and was knocked on my ass. I mean, no offense to Nick or anything, but I was really skeptical when they first came out. I mean, what does some guy in a boy band know about rock? (that was my alternative blood speaking) See, alternative is like my life...how the Backstreet Boys fit into that, I'll never know. So anyway, they came out right after this other band Cleanser was on who sucked ass, so the awesomeness that is BIK was a welcome reminder that not all bands suck. So, long story short, I'll be the first in line to buy their CD when it comes out. And it will come out. I have enough confidence that they'll get a record deal for them, Nick, and everyone else in the world. Anyway, here's some cool stuff about them.
*BIK is based out of Tampa, Florida.
*They've opened for some cool people including Papa Roach and Johnny No-Name.
*The members of BIK are (in order from left to right in the picture at the top): Lane Edward Smith whom, might I add is my favorite. He kicks ass on the drums, not to mention he's hotter then hell. He was born on February 25, 1982 and from what I've read he's freakin hilarious. Next is James Joseph Granell Jr. or Jamie. He plays the bass and was born on May 27, 1982 (aw yeah Megan) Next over is Frank Lewis Prevatte III who rocks almost as hard as Lane in my book, but not quite as much. Frank was born on April 28, 1979 and kicks butt on lead vocals. Lastly there's Brent Robert Pongetti, Nick's best friend. He plays the guitar and was born on April 23, 1981. They also just added a DJ to the band called DJ Promo.
*Nick Carter is their manager and they're signed to his management company, N-Control Management (or something like that.)
*As of yet, they are not signed to a record label, but just recently they performed at Brownies in New York where Sugar Ray was discovered and there were supposedly some scouts and execs in the audience, so hopefully we'll be hearing more about them soon.
