Hi. This is my band. Let me give you a brief history

Our origin goes back to 1996, when Jay and I ended up in the same keyboard class in 10th grade. Jay had recently gotten a new guitar and was starting a band with our friend Lance. When I showed Jay a song I wrote, "Once in a Lifetime," (which is what you're hearing now) he recruited me into his band. (the song now sounds completely different, and Jay added to it) Eventually, Lance kind of fell out, and another friend, RC ended up in the band (despite not knowing anything musically). RC came up with our first name, the Chips. Jay tried to teach RC the harmonica and then guitar, but RC just couldn't play (or sing) so he got booted. So all we had was a guitarist and a keyboardist.

Eventually it boiled down to Jay and me (it always does). We found a bassist, JJ, but that kinda fell apart, too. By then, we were using Noncoo as our name (having to do with this girl Jay knew - Nancee, so it meant Nancee with o's).

For awhile, everything became a haze, and I don't remember what happened until Blind Sight, the current name, which I think will stick. We had about ten people in the band, though half of them couldn't play anything. On the way to the first practice, we saw a guy stealing a pile of bricks. When Josh Knowles (a "guitarist") shouted out, "Hey, that guy's stealing bricks!", we had a band name, but when everyone else arrived that didn't see the guy stealing bricks, they thought the name sucked, so it somehow became Blind Sight, not Stealing Bricks.

We held a few practices, and did okay, but everyone kind of fell out and it was back to Jay and me again (suprise?). Since then, Jay switched from guitar to drums, which was a good move. I've been the keyboardist the whole time, though. We played one "gig" at our college for Jay's music appreciation class, and have been taking it from there since.

Now, we've run into a problem. Jay had to sell his drums (I bought them) to buy camera equipment in order to make a movie for getting him into film school. Oh, well
