To The Only One

As children we played games
But that time has gone
No more calling each other names
Our new love came like the dawn
Innocent and uncertain, but pure
Growing stronger through the days
This love was true, I was sure
But then we parted ways

I found it hard to say good-bye
After all we'd been through
Now I think of you and sigh
I don't know what to do
You were my one and only love
My Angel, sent from above.
