"Can I talk to you alone?" I asked Kirsten in her ear after Tiffany and Kevin had fallen asleep on the floor.
"Sure." She whispered and got up off the couch.
We walked into one of the spare rooms and she yawned and stretched.
"What'd you wanna talk about?" She asked.
"Us..."
"I wasn't aware there was one..."
"Yeah...well. I want there to be."
"You don't even know me Brian."
"But, I'm a good judge of character."
"Are you?"
I nodded. "You're beautiful, you're funny, you're smart."
"You're an easy lay because you hardly knew AJ, so I was hoping..." She tried to finish for me.
"Kirsten! I am not even like that."
She smirked.
"Please don't be mad, I was only trying to express how I feel about you. It's strange because I've dated women for long periods of time and never felt the way I feel about you and I've only know you for a day."
Her features softened. "I'm sorry, I guess with this whole AJ thing, I've been kinda weirded out."
"It's understandable."
"So... why should I buy all this?"
"I'm a virgin, I'm shy, I'm quiet, but I have enough nerve to stand in front of a woman I've known for less than 24 hours and tell her from the first moment I saw her, I saw us together."
A tear welled in her eye.
"Do you believe in it?" I asked her.
"In?"
"Love at first sight? The possibility of falling head over heals for someone you just met?"
She nodded.
"Why?"
"Cause that's how I feel about you." She whispered.
She stood up and hugged me tightly as if she feared letting go.
"I think I love you!" She said kissing me.
*Kirsten*
I had no idea what came over me, my emotions were changing too rapidly for me to take control. I was scared, but I felt so much for this man.
"Would you wanna?" He asked.
"Wanna?"
"Make love with me?"
I answered him with a kiss.
For the rest of the night, Brian and I made love and talked about anything and everything. It was the single, most greatest night of my life.
