"I was thinking you guys, that we start working on some songs and then make a demo. My friend owns a recording studio and is offering to get us in there for free. He said he's doing this on his own time, so we have to be well practiced," I told my two friends as I hung up with Robert, the friend.
"Ok, while you're at work today, we'll work on some stuff," Leah told me.
"Great, I got to get going, see you guys later," I said grabbing my purse and rushing out of the door.
I drove to work and did the usual. As Aladdin and I walked around the park we started talking.
"So, I've seen you with that Backstreet Boy a lot lately," Shawn, my Aladdin said. We walked, yet not one person stopped us.
"You have?" I asked smiling.
"Yeah, I wanna warn you Micki. They arent nice guys," Shawn said.
"What?! Shawn, you're crazy! Ive known them for a few weeks now and they are as nice as can be," I argued.
"Whatever Micki. Just be careful. Dont be quick to give your heart away, especially to AJ," Shawn warned.
"What are you talking about Shawn?" I asked.
"My cousin went out with AJ about a year ago. He was nice and sweet blah blah blah, but he hurt her. Bad," he told me.
"What did he do?" I asked curiously.
"He cheated on her, with her best friend," Shawn told me. That didnt sound like AJ, at all. AJ was too sweet to do anything like that.
"Whats your cousin's name?" I asked.
"Ginger," he answered. I made a mental note to mention her next time I saw AJ, which would probably be tonight.
"Can I have your autograph?" a little girl asked coming up to Shawn and I.
"Sure," I said smiling. She handed me her autograph book and I signed it, then handed it to Shawn. He signed it also and we took some pictures.
I kept thinking about what Shawn had told me. I couldnt get it off my mind. What if AJ was like that? It wasnt like I was in love with him, although the more time I spent with him the more I was starting to think I was falling in love.
Like just out of the blue, he'll tell me Im beautiful or he'll find some reason to touch me or he'll just stop what he's doing and kiss me. I dont know... The whole night though, that was on my mind.
That Night~
When I walked into my door, everyone was over, ok Nick, Brian, and AJ were over. I felt my heart ache as I thought about what Shawn told me.
"Hey guys," I greeted sadly.
"What's wrong Mick?" Megan asked noticing my gloomy mood.
"Nothing," I said softly sitting down next to AJ on the couch.
"Whats wrong baby?" AJ asked putting his arm around me and puller me closer to him.
"Can I talk to you upstairs?" I asked. Megan looked at Leah confused, Leah looked just as confused.
"Of course," AJ said. We got up and walked upstairs. Everyone downstairs looked at each other confused.
AJ and I walked into my room and I shut the door behind us. He stood ackwardly in the middle of the room. I went and sat on the bed. I looked at AJ, who was now sitting next to me.
"What is it?" AJ asked.
"Well, I was talking to a friend at work today," I said and took a deep breath. AJ looked at me for me to continue.
"Do you happen to know a Ginger?" I asked. AJ looked at me in horror.
"Shit," he said and put his head in his hands.
"I guess so," I concluded.
"Micki, please dont hold that against me, I swear I didnt mean to do it! Damn, she always exaggerates," AJ said frustrated.
"You didnt mean to? How could you not mean to do something like that?" I asked, hurt.
"Wait a second, what did you hear?" he asked looking at me.
"You cheated on her with her best friend," I said.
AJ burst out laughing. I looked at him, ready for an explanation.
"Her best friend was a bitch, I wouldnt even talk to that girl, much less sleep with her," AJ laughed.
"What were you talking about?" I asked. I believed his every word for some reason.
"I was fixing something under her sink and I was pulling something and my elbow went back too fast and hit her in her eye. She swore up and down I beat her," AJ shook his head. I had to laugh at that.
I leaned over and kissed him. It was a sweet and very "arousing" kiss. We were interuppted, though. By the screaming downstairs.
"What the hell?" AJ asked pulling away. We looked at each other and jumped up.
