The Next Weekend~
AJ:
Im really excited about seeing Micki again. I was driving now, Kevin in the passenger seat, Brian and Howie in the car behind us. We werent sure how long we were staying, but no less than 3 days, we knew that much.
I pulled onto a small street, where Micki’s apartment was. After a moment we found her apartment building. Micki had told me her and all her friends were going to be there. We tried to call Nick this morning, but he wasnt home and didnt have his cell phone on.
Kevin, Brian, Howie, and I all walked up to the apartment number Micki told me. I looked at the guys and smiled. Kevin leaned forward and knocked. I think he was the most nervous one. He was anxious to meet Lexi though.
“Hey!” Micki beamed swinging open the door.
“Hey,” we all said in unison.
“Come in,” she said moving so we could walk past her.
I suddenly felt very nervous, I never get nervous, either.
Micki introduced everyone and we all sat in silence. Everyone was too nervous to speak.
“Well, Im going to get something to drink. Does anyone want one?” Micki asked standing.
“I’ll come with you,” I said standing up.
“I want a drink Micki,” Leah said smiling up at Micki.
“Diet Pepsi?” she asked.
“You know me too well,” she grinned.
Micki and I walked into the kitchen and she got out three glasses. She poured Leah some Diet Pepsi and herself some orange soda.
“What would you like?” she asked.
“Do you have tea?” I asked.
“Actually, I do,” she said opening the refriderator.
Leah:
Wow, Brian is hot. He’s really quiet though. I guess we all are pretty quiet though. Micki and AJ disappeared into the kitchen and STILL havent returned. I was really thirsty, too.
“So, this is interesting,” I commented.
“Yeah,” Brian laughed.
What a cute smile!
“I say we go clubbin’!” Micki announced coming into the living room, holding orange soda in one hand and my Pepsi in the other hand.
“Thanks,” I said as she handed me the glass.
“Clubbin’?” Megan asked whining.
“Yeah, why not?” Micki asked as her and AJ sat down on the floor.
“Ok, well, Im not really into that,” Megan said.
“We can call Nick. He’ll keep you company, he doenst get into clubs either,” AJ announced.
Kevin pulled out his cell phone and dialed Nick’s number.
I didnt really pay attention to what he was saying, I was too busy noticing how Lexi’s face was turning pink every time she looked at Kevin. That is so cute, she has a crush. I looked around the room and caught Brian looking at me. He turned away quickly looking slightly embarrassed.
“So, are we going to a club?” Lexi asked as Kevin hung up the phone.
“Nick said he’d meet us over there,” Kevin announced.
“Ok, so when do we want to go?” Micki asked.
“I say around 8,” AJ spoke.
“Well, what are we going to do until then?” I asked.
“Let’s go shopping,” Micki exclaimed.
“Ok,” everyone agreed.
We all left for the mall. AJ, Micki, and Megan all went in Micki’s silver Honda Civic. Kevin, Lexi, Brian, and me all went in my 2000 Mustang. We drove to the mall and began to walk around. AJ and Micki were so cute, they were holding hands and Micki was giggling uncontrollably.
“They are so cute,” I commented to no one in particular.
“Yeah, AJ really likes her,” Brian said from behind me.
“Micki likes him a lot too,” I told him smiling.
“That seems to be going on alot lately,” Brian said pointing towards Adrienne and Howie.
“Yeah and it looks like those two are hitting it off pretty good too,” I said pointing towards Lexi and Kevin.
“What’s wrong Megan?” I asked looking over at Megan who was sulking.
“Im bored,” she sighed.
Megan:
This is just a wonderful day, only Im lying. Im watching AJ and Micki flirt up a storm and Adrienne and Howie are so into each other, they arent paying the least bit of attention to anyone besides themselves.
Leah and Brian were talking to each other about the other couples, I overheard, I wasnt listening in. And, Lexi and Kevin were talking about something I had no clue about.
I wish Nick was here, but I guess I’ll get to see him tonight, so I can just buy a great outfit and try to enjoy my afternoon.
“What’s wrong Megan?” Leah asked.
“Im bored,” I sighed.
“Come on, let’s go to The Body Shop and get a new outfit,” Leah said pointing towards the bright store ahead of us. Micki walked right towards the black leather pants with leopard print material at the bottom and a black leather bandana top to match.
“Those are awesome,” AJ commented.
“You had leather pants at the show, didnt you?” Howie asked.
“Yeah, but they didnt have the leopard print at the bottom,” Micki informed him.
“Oh, I see,” he nodded.
“I like this,” Leah said looking at a snake skin tube top and a black skirt that matched.
“That’s cute,” I commented. Adrienne picked up a 3/4 long black skirt and a red silk shirt to match. Lexi and I were the only ones who hadnt picked out something for tonight.
“I like this shirt,” Lexi said picking up a black leather tank top and a pair blue sparkly pants.
“Those are cool,” Kevin commented coming up behind Lexi.
“Thanks,” she grinned. I finally picked up a short black leather skirt and a leather tube top to match.
“What are you guys wearing?” I asked as we all bought our outfits.
“We’ll find something,” AJ shrugged.
“Hey is that Nick?” Kevin asked pointing outside the store.
“Yeah, it is,” Brian said looking.
“Nick!” AJ called.
Goodness, he looks good today.
Nick:
“Nick!” I heard from inside the store I was passing. I looked into the store and saw Brian, Kevin, AJ, Howie, and those girls I met last weekend and the girl who was on the gameshow with AJ.
I walked into the store, anxious to see Megan again. She looked beautiful in her jeans and Gap shirt. She looked down shyly as I walked into the store.
“Hey you guys,” I smiled.
“Hey,” everyone chorused.
“What are you guys doing here?” I asked.
“Shopping,” the other blonde, I think Leah commented.
“Obviously,” I smiled. She smiled and handed the store clerk her money.
When the girls were done buying whatever they were buying we all walked out of the store together. AJ and that girl, Micki were holding hands in front of us. She kept looking up at him and laughing.
Kevin and Lexi were talking about being on the road and everything. Brian and Leah were making little comments about little things. Like how he likes mac and cheese and so does she, etc. Adrienne and Howie were just as giddy as AJ and Micki.
“So, when are we going to a club tonight?” I asked Megan.
“They said around 8,” she answered.
“Oh, that’s cool,” I smiled.
“Yeah,” she said shyly.
“Wow, it’s already 5:30,” I said looking down at my watch.
“Really? Already?” Megan asked shocked.
“Yeah, do you wanna get something to eat?” I asked hoping she would.
“Sure,” she agreed.
“Hey guys we’re going to get something to eat,” I announced to everyone.
“We’re going home,” Micki said back.
“Well, they’re my ride. I guess whatever they want to do, I do,” she shrugged smiling.
“Well, I can give you a ride home if you want. That way we can go out to dinner,” I said hoping she’d say yes. I cant believe I was asking her to dinner.
“Sure,” she agreed.
