I sighed as I sat in my bunk, reading my favorite novel, Gone With Wind. I heard Kevin and Howie discussing something or another in the nearby kitchen. Nick and Megan were screaming, bouncing from one bunk to another and Leah and Brian were sitting on the couch cuddling. I had no clue where AJ was or what he was doing, although, I knew he was on the bus.
It was the next day, after the first concert and we had all woken up like an hour ago. Finally, I got frustrated and got up. I grabbed my bag and walked into the closet they like to call a bathroom. I took a shower and changed into my Tommy Hilfiger jean shorts, and a blue tube top. I scrunched my hair and left the nice waves to lay against my back.
I put on socks and my white Lugz and walked out of the bathroom.
"Sorry," AJ mumbled as I walked out and almost into him.
"No, Im sorry," I said and walked past him. I walked to the front of the bus, where the driver was busy at work.
"Hi," I smiled in desperate need of someone to talk to.
"Uh, hi," he said ackwardly.
"Im Micki," I smiled.
"I know. I mean nice to meet you, Im Stu," he replied. Stu? Hmm...
"Hi, kinda boring up here, huh?" I asked looking out the window.
"You could say that," he replied.
"So, hmmm," I sighed.
"Micki, what are you doing?" Leah asked giggling.
"Talking to Stu," I replied.
"Um, well, can we talk to you back here?" she asked.
"I guess," I sighed.
I got up and walked to the back where everyone was. The only available spot was by AJ. I took a deep breath and sat down next to him.
"OK, well, we were bored, so we're playing trh or dare," Megan announced.
"What?!" AJ and I shrieked at the same time.
"What is this 6th grade?" I asked in disbelief.
"Look, we're bored," Nick shrugged. Leah and Brian looked excited. I looked over at Kevin and Howie and they looked interested.
"Micki, truth or dare?" Leah asked. Damn, either way Im screwed with AJ being there and all.
"Pass?" I asked.
"Micki," all except AJ whined.
"Fine, truth," I sighed.
"If you could have sex with one person on this bus, who would it be?" Leah giggled. I glared at her. Everyone on the bus knew I still had feelings for AJ.
"I dont know," I mumbled, knowing my face was turning red.
"Come on! And no lying or something bad will happen," Leah whined.
I looked at AJ and he was busy looking in the other direction.
"Stu," I answered smiling.
"The bus driver?" Nick asked making a face. I laughed.
"Seriously Micki," Leah told me.
"AJ," I said quickly. I looked down into my lap quickly, avoiding any eye contact with anyone.
"Your turn!" Leah exclaimed happy with herself.
"Nick, truth or dare," I said looking at him.
"Dare," he grinned.
"I dare you to moon the next car," I said pointing to the window.
He stood up without hesitation and pulled his pants down and mooned the next car to drive by. We were all laughing when Nick sat back down.
"Brian, truth or dare," Nick turned towards Brian.
"Dare," Brian grinned.
"I dare you to shave your legs," Nick laughed.
"Hell no!" Brian refused.
"At least a thigh," Nick whined.
"You gotta do it," I grinned at him.
"Fine," he mumbled.
After Brian was done shaving his thigh, he turned to AJ and then smiled at me. Damn, maybe I shouldve told him he couldve taken a consequence.
"AJ," Brian grinned.
"Truth," AJ replied with hesitation.
"Ok, do you still like Micki?" Brian asked. My heart started pound in fear, but also in excitement of what his answer would be.
AJ glared at Brian, but took a deep breath.
"Yeah, of course I do," he said softly.
I think my heart just stopped pumping right there. He does still like me!
"Then why arent you two together?" Nick asked confused. I looked away from everyone as my face was feeing quite hot.
"I think I was only supposed to get one question," AJ said, avoiding the question.
"Megan, truth or dare," AJ said looking at Megan.
"Truth," she said shyly.
"Exactly how far has Nick taken you?" AJ smiled. Megan turned beet red.
"He's gotten a homerun, more than once," Megan answered.
"Kevin, truth or dare," Megan said looking at Kevin.
"No, we already told you, me and Howie are just watching," Kevin shook his head. Megan rolled her eyes and looked at Leah.
"You," she narrowed her eyes at Leah.
"Dare," Leah grinned devilishy.
"Ok, hmm. Flash the driver," Megan giggled.
Leah sighed as if she did this all the time and got up and walked to the front of the bus and did her thing.
"Ok, Micki, your turn," Leah smiled.
"Dare," I answered.
"Dye your hair blue," Leah smiled.
"What shade?" I considered it.
"Dark," she answered.
"Ok, can I just do the about two inches of the ends because it would look tacky if I did the whole thing," I asked.
"Ok," she smiled.
So we dyed my hair. Remember on Road Rules when, whats her name, oh I dont remember, well she like stuck her hair in the nail polish and did the tips, well thats what I did only not nail polish.
It was an interesting and fun afternoon and time went by fast.
