Beth's Thoughts

I used to be against WWTT, but now I consider myself to open-minded. I don't think that there is anything wrong with fans expressing theirselves. We all have fantasies about the boys, but these are private thoughts that should be kept exactly that--private.

I have noticed through surfing the net, that some girls who write this stuff aren't even old enough to watch movies that feature that type of content. One "graphic" fan fic writer is only 14!

When a movie channel on TV shows an uncensored movie, they can't control who watches it. Just like you can't control who reads your fan fiction.

Most BSB fans are younger(Not to discriminate against the older ones, but it is true) and a little eight or nine year old could easily get to your stories. Granted, most parents would monitor a young child's internet time, but you probably wouldn't want an 11 or 12 year reading that stuff either.

We have proof that BSB do surf the 'net. They have said that they go in chat rooms and read rumors about themselves on-line. We know Nick has even visited humor sites and seen himself called fat. If they read humor, what's to say that they haven't read fan fiction? If they have, they could easily stumble onto some sexually explicit fan fic. They are considered a good, wholesome pop act, despite some things they do(AJ sung "Thong Song" on MTV). They wouldn't appreciate seeing themselves in these stories any more than they would appreciate being called fat. They don't want to know fans' private thoughts about them. After all, two of them are engaged. [Kevin and Brian are now married.]

So, considering all of that, before you post this kind of fan fiction, I think that it's best to ask yourself "What Would They Think?"
