Seniors to get
long-overdue
pension funds

Dudovitz and other legal advocates for senior citizens first filed suit against the pension fund because it required workers to put in 15 years on the job before they were eligible to receive their pensions. U.S. District Judge Robert H. Takasugi ruled in 1984 that the 15-year rule violated labor law. That secision was later up- held by the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, Dudovitz said.
