Nick looked at his best friend for the first time in days.She laid against her pillows,thinking.He smiled,letting his eyes roam her body.He wanted her..needed her as a friend again.He wanted to be in her heart not,miles apart.It seemed,as in the days of silence he needed her more.Missed her more.

The silence is killing me.He thought,picking up a magizine he'd already read twice.He started to humm 'As Long As You Love Me' and then stopped,looking down at the blurred words on the paper.

"Samantha?"He asked,turning to look at her again.

"Hmm?"She asked,looking up.

They made eye contact and he smiled again."We need to talk."

"Yeah..."She let her voice trail.

"So..."He started,"How's everything?"

"No wait.Lets start over."She stood up and sat down next to him on his bed.Then stuck out her hand,"I'm Samantha."

He grinned,"Nick."

For the next four hours they got to know each other better.Both of them,feeling complete again.Nick turned and looked at the clock.

"Damn its eleven already."

She yawned,"Yeah..im tired."

Hugging her,he pulled her close."I missed you."

She smelled his scent,enjoying the feel of his arms wrapped around him."I love you..."

"I love you too.Never leave me again,Sam.Promise me."

They stared deep into each others eyes and she promised.Knowing she was going to keep that promise.Forever.
