She walked, around the court dribbling her basketball and muttering under her breath. She stopped walking and looked around the parking lot, turning her back to the courts. She cursed loudly,as a basketball hit her in the back knocking her off balance.
"Good going B.Look what you did."A males voice scolded
"I didn't mean to."Someone ran up to her,"Are you okay,miss?I'm really sorry"
"I'm fine."She took his arm and picked herself up."It's okay really."She looked at him.He was a couple inches taller then her, with dark blonde hair and the bluest eyes she had ever seen. What a hottie. She smiled at him, switching her weight from one foot to another under his gaze.
"Really?"He asked,looking at her."I'm Brian."
It hit her.Brian Littrell. What's he doing back in Kentucky?Thought he was on tour."I'm Becky..."She smiled, weakly.
"You know who I am,don't you?"He could tell.It was one thing he learned in the past six years.
"Uh-huh."She smiled
"Wow,B-Rok..that was the lamest pick-up line i've ever heard..."
"Shut-up,Harold.This is my older brother,Harold."Brian said, introducing the two.
"Whatever.Nice meeting you..."
"Becky."
"-Becky..I must be going.Have fun..."Harold shook her head, before running in the oppisote direction towards another girl.
"Anyways.."Brian blused,"You here to play some basketball?"Ever since his harsh break-up with Leigh-Anne,Brian hadn't felt like dating. He was cautious around girls, especially for being a backstreet boy.
"Yeah. If my friend would ever get here."She paused,"Can I ask you a question?"
"Sure."He smiled
"Aren't you on tour?"
He smiled and picked up his basketball."Yeah, but the dates were postponed so I decieded to come and visit for like, two days."
"Hey.Thats cool."She smiled,"Do you want to play a game or something?"
He liked her.Liked the way he treated him like,a real person."Okay..sure."
For the next hour or so the two played a game of one-on-one which respectfully ended in a tie of 60-60.Brian headed over to his bag,and took out a water-bottle.He took a drink and offered it to Becky who sipped it,thankfully.
"Thanks."
"Oh your welcome,Becky."
She handed the waterbottle back to him."So.."She trailed off
"I guess your friend never came, huh?"
"Yeah..but oh well."
After he signed her an autograph and exchanged numbers,he said good-bye giving her a hug.She hugged him back, smiling.
"I'll see ya,later,Brian."
"Yeah..you defiantly will."He smiled once more and walked away.Turning he looked at her,"You want a ride?"
"Oh no,thats okay..I only live a block away."
He waved and walked out of the park, humming 'As Long As You Love Me'
Becky picked up the phone and dialed Heather's
number. She was never going to believe the time Becky had..without her.
hey.I know...Leighanne and Brian didn't break up.In fact they're engaged.And im damn proud of them too..this is just a story--completly fiction.thanks,Samantha
