~*~The Next Day~*~
Lucy woke up on a hard floor. She looked around some, and saw Brian curled up into a ball by the empty wall in. In LA!! Lucy jumped, and ran her fingers through her dark brown curls. right then Brian awoke from his none peaceful sleep. He looked at Lucy who was resting her eyes, as her head was against the white wall. He moved over to Lucys side and kissed her cheek softly. Lucy looked at him. With a blank expression on her tanned face.
"Lucy, I need you" Brian whispered. Lucy tried to hold back her tears. Man if any one should be crying all the time is should be Brian. Brian was doing a perfect job of hiding his feelings. As AJ was always so good at.
"Luc, I love you so much. I always want you with me. I want you so much"
Lucy stood up and tucked some hair behind her ear. Brian stood up to, waiting for a reply.
"The moving truck should be here soon" Lucy stated. Brian nodded in agreement.
"Lucy, I meant every word I said" Brian told and went into the kitchen, he grabbed a pop tart off the counter, and sat on the floor, leaning his head against hes new counter. Lucy walked in with her arms rapped around herself. She sat next to Brian.
"Brian, I love you too" Lucy said softly. Brian didn't say anything. But he didn't need to. Right then the door bell rang. Brian quickly stood up, opened the door. It was the moving people. With all his stuff. Lucy ran to the bathroom and got sick. Brian sighed, he wished Lucy didn't have to go through this. But she was...

Kevin was with Megan, just lying in bed. He rapped his arms around her, awaking her from her sleep. She looked up at Kevins intense green eyes and smiled brightly. Kevin did too. He kissed her lips softly.
"Megan, I love you so much. I need you in my life forever. I want you in my life forever." Kevin said. Megan couldn't say anything. She just hugged him tightly.

Brian was helping the movers move all his stuff in his new apartment. Lucy had just walked back into view. Brian walked over to her and rapped kissed her fore head.
"You alright Lucy?" He questioned.
"I'll be fine" Lucy said softly. Then going to help move more boxes, among other things into the house.

After everything was moved in, Brian paid the guys, and him and Lucy slid down the wall with a sigh. Brian looked over at Lucy, she looked tired, her eyes were really heavy. Brian stood up and pulled Lucy up.
"What are you doing?" Lucy asked.
"You'll see, just come here" Brian said softly. Lucy looked at him weirdly, but followed anyway. Brian grabbed a box and lead Lucy to a room in the back. Brian set the box down, opened it and pulled out a ton of blankets. He placed them on the floor all nice and neat, laid down and had Lucy lay next to him.
"Here Lucy, lay down" Brian said. Lucy half smiled and laid next to him. He leaned over her and kissed her lips softly.
"I love you Lucy, more then you'll ever know. I can't even begin to tell you how much I love you."
Lucy smiled and just laid next to him. They both fell asleep, rapped in each others arms.

"MOM! I'm going out!!" Nick called, before he got an answer he was out the door. All he could think about was Lucy and what she said. Would she ever get us back together? And questions like that ran through his head non stop. He wasn't taking things to well. What he worked for his whole life, was over. He saw Howie and Kevin on tv that day, just announcing that things were over for the group. Now the world, the fans knew. It made him more sick.

Kevin just got back home from the press conference. Megan was up stairs in Lucys room crying. Everything was just how she had left it. She held Lucy's backstreet Boys shirt. The one she always wore. Even way before Megan her self, liked there music. Kevin walked into Lucys room, he felt his eyes filling with tears. Megan looked at him and ran into his arms.
"Do you think shes ok?" Megan cried.
"I know she is. Shes with Brian. Like you told me, shes safe as long as shes with him. I know he loves her more then lifes its self. But what about us, are we ok?"
Megan pulled away and looked at him. "Are we ok?" She returned the question.
"Yeah, we will. We love each other, and that will make us stronger, and help us pull through" Kevin told. Megan just hugged him tighter.

Brian awoke from his sleep by talking in the living room, or that empty room. Whatever it was where you first walk in. Brian got up and kissed Lucy softly before he walked to where the noise was coming from.
"What the heck! Who are you??" Brian about yelled.
The girl with bright green hair turned around "What do you mean? Were moving in here" She replied.
"Me and my friend just moved in here. What are you talking about?"
"Well, you see. Were you roomies. Get use to us" the guy with yellow hair stated.
"What roomies? I don't have room mates" Brian spat.
"Well you do now. Our stuff will be here soon" The girl smiled cheekily.
"This place is only a two bed room apartment" Brian began. Right then Lucy walked into the room, still very sleepy.
"Brian whats all the noise for?" Lucy whined, then she saw the two AJ look a likes standing there.
"Great, every things settled, we two share a room, me and Owen share a room" The girls giggled.
"WE have Roomates?" Lucy stated.
"Yeah, I don't know anything about this" Brian shrugged, but really wasn't in the mood to fight with the people.
"Fine, me and Lucy get the master bedroom. You all get the other bed room" Brian stated.
"Wait, whats your names" The girl asked.
"My names Brian, and this is my friend Lucy" Brian told.
"Groovy! My names Kay, but you can call me star!" She giggled. Lucy smiled a little.
"Yeah, and I'm Owen." the guy told. Brian and Lucy nodded.
"Hey, your one of those backstreet guys." Kay told. Brian nodded slightly.
"Dude, thats groovy man" Owen added.
"Yeah, anyway, lets get this place in order" Brian told.
"Like Ok! I need to hang my way nifty door way beads" Star smiled brightly.
"Oh yeah, I gotta hang my tie-dye wall cloth!" Owen added.
"Luc, lets go to 'our' room" Brian stated. Lucy nodded in agreement, and they headed to there room.
"What ya think?" Brian questioned.
"I think, I love you" Lucy stated and kissed his lips lightly.
"No, I mean about the people that are in the other room" Brian stated.
"I know. Just playing with you. Ya know, ha ha, laugh" Lucy teased. Brian just kissed her.
"Well, I think there cool. Very happy" Brian told.
"Yeah, there nice" Lucy added.
"Anyway, back to us." Brian said and hugged her tightly.
"I guess we'll start with my bed. Um, Lucy you don't mind about us sharing a room. I mean I could find us another apartment"
"Na, it'll be fine" Lucy stated, as she walked outta the room. Brian followed her.
"Here Lucy, grab that box, it has all our bed set in it. Like pillow cases and crap" Brian told. Lucy nodded and brought it to her and Brians room. Brian followed with the bed frame.
Within ten minuets the bed frame was together. Brian and Owen put the mattress on it, then Brian laid back on the bed Lucy laid next to him.
"You ok?" Lucy asked.
"Yep! Great!" Brian lied and stood up. Lucy sighed and also stood up.
"Hey Brian" Lucy stated, taking Brians arms, and turning him towards her.
"Hmm?"
"I love you." Lucy told.
"I love you too" Brian replied.
"AHH yeah yeah. We love each other too. But the whole world doesn't need to know" Star came in giggling.
Brian looked at them and smiled. "But ya see, this is my baby here. I love her with all my heart" Brian told rapping his arms around Lucy.
"Awwww, anyway you guys don't mind if I put on Sonny and Sher? Do ya's?"
"Not at all" Lucy stated. She smiled and walked outta the room.
"Shes a trip" Brian told.
"Sure is, am I really your baby Brian?"
"Oh yeah!!" Brian smiled and kissed her.
"Your my baby too" Lucy giggled.
"Groovy" Brian replied, but then they broke out laughing.

"Well this place looks some what good." Brian commented.
"Oh yeah B man! Totally nifty!" Owen added.
Over the past few hours, Brian Lucy, and there roomies, Owen and Star, had set up there humble home. Things were different. You'd think Star and Owen were straight from the 60's. They were very cool.
"So, tell us. What going on with you and your girly over there?" Owen stated, nodded towards Lucy, who was talking with Star.
"Oh, not much. Shes my, my"
"Your honey man! Your honey!"
Brian laughed "Something like that"
"Yo LU LU!" Owen called.
"What? And for the last time. Don't call me that?" Lucy smiled.
"Come see your honey. Hes getting lonely!" Owen told. Brians mouth dropped open. Star laughed.
Lucy giggled and walked over to Brian, she rapped her arms around his neck and kissed him slowly. "Love yas" she giggled and walked away. Brian smiled at her. As long as he didn't face his problem. He was doing fine. Well, doing a fine job of hiding what he truely felt.
"Hey Lu lu, and Stary, why don't you two go out and get some food." Owen suggested.
"Umm arighty. Lets go chicky!!" Star smiled. Lucy walked over to Brian who was off in another world.
"See you in a little bit babes. Miss you" Lucy said and walked out the door. Brian sighed.
"Yo B B, what bummin' ya! Cuz man, Lu lu's a great girl. Shes perfect for ya. Man B. B. If I had I girl like Lu Lu, I'd be the happiest guy in the world. I guess I do have my Lu lu. That'd be my stary man! Shes totally neat!"
"Its not that. I know Lucys perfect. I love her with all my heart. Its just some other stuff don't worry man!" Brian told. Owen nodded.
"Well man, I gotta go to work. Major bummer! Dude man, wanna come work with me? I work at this funk club. Its totally groovy!"
"Nah, thats ok. I'm gonna sit and wait for Lucy to get back. I miss her already"
"Oh alright. Happy bummin' man" Owen told, leaving.
Brian sighed and tears filled his eyes. He whipped them away and headed for the shower.

AJ was at the bar, drinking yet again. He knew it was wrong. But he just wanted to get away from things. For a little while anyway. But getting drunk didn't seem to help much. He walked outta the bar and past a few whispering people. He got in his car and quickly pulled away, heading to his moms house.
~Kevin and Megan were doing some grocery shopping. Over the past few hours, things were going kinda good. Kevin was just totally rapped up with Megan, that things covered up everything else.
"Hey Kev what ya thinking about?" Megan asked.
"Oh nothing, hon, I was thinking tonight, we go to the beach. I have something very important to tell you" Kevin smiled.
Megan smiled "Sure"
~*~Lucy came back to the apartment alone. Star had gone to work. Lucy walked in slowly. She had a head ache, and felt sick. Lucy walked to her and Brian's room and he was standing there in boxers. She smiled to herself. When he turned around.
"Luc!"
Lucy half smiled "Hi Brian"
Brian walked over to her and rapped her arms tightly around her. "I miss the guys. More then anything" He said softly.
"I know, so do I"
"It hurts so bad, and it feels like it'll always hurt, forever. Ya know?"
"Brian, maybe you should get some rest. Whenever something bad happened to me. You took care of me. Now I'm gonna take care of you."
"I'm not gonna take a nap, unless, you take one with me"
"Alright, get in bed. And I'll be right back. I'm gonna go find my CD player"
"Wait Daddys Girl, I have to take you some place tonight."
"You haven't called me that in so long." Lucy breathed.
"I know, things have been so different with us lately."
"Sure have, anyway I'll be right back"
Lucy came back with her CD player, along with her Jon B CD. She plug it in next to the bed and turned to face Brian he was just looking at her. With so much love in his baby blue eyes, and nothing but. He stood up, walked over to her and placed his hands on her waste.
"Daddys Girl, I love you so much." He said softly before kissing her lips slowly.
"Brian, we can't. Not now"
"Lucy, shhhh, I have nothing else. All I have is you right now. Thats it"
"But Brian, things are really messed up for you right now. I think its best if we just focus on that"
"No, baby. Think about it, now that there is no more bsb, for now, I can spend all my time with you. You can go to school, not have a tooter. I can do whatever I want, and NOT have to worry about anything else."
Lucy placed her hands across her chest "You make me sick! How can you say that Brian? Think about the fans, probably millions of fans are crying, as you go on and on about how great and peachy your break up is!"
"Lucy! Think about me for a second, I needed a break! We all did! did we NOT? And NOW that we have it, I'm not gonna sit here and regret it! Yeah, I am torn apart, but I'm not gonna let the pain take over my life!!" Brian yelled back.
"Fine! I guess we both have some thinking to do! On whats good and whats bad!" Lucy yelled and ran out of the bed room. She walked out onto balcony. Brian sighed and walked after her. He walked up behind her, and heard her crying softly.
"Lucy, look, I just want you to see it, my way"
"Yeah? And I want you to see it my way. I was a fan Brian, I know what there going through. You guys were my obsession. Even more"
"Lucy"
"What?"
"I hate fighting! But, I'm right!!!"
"WHATEVER!" Lucy yelled and pushed past him, back inside.
"BRAT!!!"
"JERK FACE"
"Oh that was a good one, snot bag"
"Up shut!!"
"Stupid brat." Brian mumbled sitting on a chair on the balcony,, over looking the city of LA.
"Your a pain Lucy!"
"B SHUT UP, BEFORE I COME THERE AND MAKE YOU!!"
"Yeah and??"
Lucy walked out the sliding glass door, Brian glared at her.
"Don't look at me like that" Lucy said.
"Stop me then"
"Your such a brat!"
"Thank you hon." Lucy smiled smugly, sitting on the ground.
Brian got out of the chair and forced his lips against hers.
"Get off me! Brian, your to good at hiding your feelings."
"Lucy, what do you want me to do sit here and cry? Thats what I feel"
"Then let it out"
"No, I won't do that"
"It'll help you!" Lucy said.
"I hate girls some times"
"Yeah? And I hate guys some times"
"Yeah yeah, now please let me kiss you"
"Nope"
"Please?"
"Nope"
"Come on" Brian begged.
"Pretty please with a cherry on top?"
"No way jose."
"But I love you Daddys Girl!"
"How much?"
"THIS MUCH!" Brian said holding his hands as far apart as he could.
"Are you sure about that?"
"Yep yep! 100% sure"
"Show me how much you love me"
"With out kissing you??"
"Bingo, with out kissing me"
"I can't, I just love you, and thats all. Theres not one thing I love about you. Its just you in genrell." Brian said leaned over her.
"I love you too"
"How much?"
"Oh don't even go there" Brian giggled and took Lucys hand into his. There was a moment of silence.
"Now can I kiss you?"
"Nope"
"Please?"
"don't start again Brian"
"Your a meanie head"
"Thanks"
"I love you so much Brian" Lucy smiled.
"Anyway, I want to take you some place. Go get ready"
"Where are you taking me?"
"some place."
"fine" Lucy smiled, and went to get in the shower.

"Nick, how are you doing?" Tess asked, at the air port.
"Not good. My life isn't my life anymore" Nick cried. Tess rapped her arms around him.
"It'll be ok Nick, you'll see"
"But Tess, Brian and Lucy left town. I can't picture my life with out Brian"
"I'm sure Lucy will keep you updated on him, don't worry to much. How about we go back to you place, I make you something to eat, and you rest in your bed. Maybe we can watch a movie"
"That sounds nice Tess, thanks"
"What are friends for huh?"
"I know, but, I'm acting like a baby"
"You have that right Nick. Now lets get you home" Nick kissed Tess's cheek, and they headed back to Nicks house.

Tess and Nick stepped inside
"Here, let me get your stuff for you. Man Tess, thanks so much for coming to see me. It means alot to me"
Tess smiled brightly "Not a problem. Not at all Nick"
"Aww, love ya girl" Nick stated and hugged her.
"Thanks, love ya too"
"Now, shall we get this stuff up to my room?"
"Sure"
"Do you really think Lucy meant what she said?" Nick asked.
"If Lucy said it, it'll happen. She cared about the group so much Nick. She knew you guys had something special, and she won't let you all throw it away."
Nick smiled "I sure hope she does. I know AJ won't try to get us back together, hes to stubborn. Kev, well, hes happy right now. He wants to get his life together. With Megan, ya know? I can't blame him, hes 27 years old. He need that. Howie, we he has so many other options. Brians happy, as long as hes with Lucy, I think anyway. But me? I have nothing right now."
"Your right Nick. But you know, you have me. If you ever need anything, want anything, you know where I am. Remember that"
Nick hugged Tess "Thanks, that means a lot to me."

Howie looked around his empty house. He was yet again, lonely. He usually had the guys. But not anymore. He looked around and grabbed his suit case. He went to his room, packing a ton of clothes up, and everything else he would need.
"I'm gonna see the world some more. One last time" Howie told himself.
"hey! I can have Cassy come along with me! That'd be so much fun" He added and picked up the phone.

Kevin and Megan walked hand and hand along the soft sand on the beach.
"I have a good feeling inside of me right now. I don't know what it is. But its like, peace" Kevin said.
"Yeah?? Same with me. Its like, everything’s taking care of its self. Theres a lot of healing, but I think everyone’s, wherever they are, are gonna be ok. Just like us"
"Yeah like us. Thats why I brought you here Megan."
"What do you mean?" Megan asked softly.
"Megan, from the day I met you, I knew you were something special. Megan, you made me whole life complete. And I have just" Kevin got on one knee. "question for you. Megan Marie Costa, Will You Merry Me?"
Megan whipped away a tear "yes I will" She managed to choke out. Kevin slipped the ring on her finger, with a bright teary smile and rapped his arms tightly around her.
"I love you so much" Megan stated.
"I love you too. More then ever. Wow, our life is just beginning. I am so happy!............"

Lucy got out of the shower, walked into her room, where Brian was. He smiled at her, as she stood there in a towel.
"Brian, I need to get dressed, now get out"
"Wait, one thing, promise me, that no mater what you'll stay with me tonight"
Lucy looked at him weirdly "What do you mean? Why wouldn't I be staying with you tonight, Brian, your all I have, remember? We came here together, left everything, and everyone else behind. Now your asking me to stay with you tonight. God!, Jeez Bri, duh"
"LUCY! Shut up for a second, look, just promise me, thats all, please?"
"But"
"Lucy!"
"Fine fine, I promise I won't go off with some strange person, and I'll stay with you tonight. Promise"
"Great, now get ready" Brian said and walked out of the room. Lucy held back some tears and grabbed a pair of jeans and a baby-tee, out of a near by box.

"Tess, this is so sweet. Your such a sweet heart for doing this for me, after all the crying and whining I did today" Nick said as they laid under the stars at the beach.
"Aww Nicky, its the least I can do. Besides what am I here for?"
Nick smiled at her "I know, but I just, really really appreciate it, more then you'll ever know"
Tess blushed "Nick, I, are you..gonna be ok? Like your future, because what you just went through the past 2 days, was horrible"
"Tess, as long as your with me, I'll pull through, besides, I don't have much of a choice, the others are happy right now, I can't deny them that, its there freedom, besides, after all the long years we worked, I think its fair, we do get a break. Just wish we didn't go out like we did."
"Yeah, Umm I know, Lucys gonna take care of Brian, don't worry."
Nick didn't reply, he missed Brian more then anything, its like his other half was ripped away from him. In most ways, he was.
"Nick, whats on your mind"
Nick looked Tess in the eye "Nothing" Nick said lightly looking away, and laid on his back.
"Don't give me that. Nick, Brian and you will always have a special bond, I know your not together right now, but I mean it was there, part of it will always be"
"Tess, the only part thats there is memories!! Thats IT!! God, think about it, For the rest of my life, me and BRIAN won't TALK!" Nick yelled, as hes famous baby blue eyes, filled with salty tears.
"Nick, its hard, god, I'm gonna start to cry too. Honey, give it some time, please" Tess cried and Nick pulled her close to him.
"My heart hurts so bad, so bad Tess"
"Shh" Tess pulled away from Nick and looked at him, she slowly kissed his lips, and then pulled away slowly.
"Lets go back home and go to bed. Ok?" Nick nodded in agreement. Then at the same time Nick and Tess looked up at the star filled sky. Only to see, a shiny shooting star sprint across the peaceful sky.
"I'm gonna get you guys back together someday Nick, I'm gonna heal this. Some day" The words of Lucy chanted through Nicks head. Tess squeezed Nicks hand tightly, he smiled and they walked inside. Everything was gonna be ok.
~*~Howie got off the plain in New Mexico, Cassy was there waiting for him. He smiled the second he saw her and they hugged tightly. They were going on a 2 month trip around the world. Together. Howie felt that seeing the world one last time, as closer. Thats what he needed, and he was gonna get it.

AJ looked around his room, back home at his mothers apartment. Backstreet Boys, Backstreet Boys, Backstreet Boys, those words were in his head, and they weren't leaving, the fans screaming, the smiles on all the girls faces. The performances, what joy they brought to them, as to many others.
"AHHHHH" AJ shot up from his sleep, dripping in sweat, as if he just finished doing a concert. Denise came running into the room. She automatically put her arms around AJ.
"Mom, so many things, I can't let go of. Those were my brothers, there my family. I lost them. I have nothing" AJ cried.
"Shhhh, AJ, don't think to much, sweetie, sometimes thing changes, as I always told you, God has a plain for everything, and for everyone, something good will come out of this, you'll see, you just have to be looking for it. Honey, this is killing me too, they were my kids. Maybe you should, try doing Broadway, theater, your first love."
"Thanks mom, I guess your right, I mean, I can't live in the past, I have to move on."
"Thats my boy" Denise half smiled. AJ let out a long sighed, and thought about the future for a change. Maybe some other doors were gonna be opened.

Lucy came out from her and Brians room, he was just standing there reading a news paper.
"What ya reading?" Lucy asked.
"Huh? Ohh nothing" Brian through the paper aside and walked over to Lucy.
"Bad was it??"
"Ya know, it wasn’t to bad. They said what really was. We simply needed a break, they also said, good luck to us and we deserve a break"
Lucy half smiled "Seen any fans reactions?"
Brians face fell, his fans were most important, but they needed to be there for him now, and understand. "Not yet, I don't even think I could handle it yet anyway. Well, we should get going." Lucy nodded and they headed out to Brians jeep.

Brian and Lucy soon pulled into a parking lot, Brian had told Lucy to close her eyes, she followed his orders. He helped her out of the jeep and walked her to the side of the building.

Lucy smiled "I can handle that" "Yeah? That how' bout we get going" "Sounds great, lets go, I'm just gonna go to the bathroom real quick. Ok?" "Sure, I'll be in the jeep" "Ok, I'll be right out" "Ok" Brian smiled and walked out of the famous Mac Daddys... Lucy walked into the bathroom, she heard something walk in the door behind her, but ignored it. After going to the bathroom she stepped out and a guy grabbed her, covering her mouth. The guy let go and she looked at him. "You told me not to let go of you" Brian smiled cheekily, Lucy smiled and hugged him tightly. "Lets go home" "Yeah, lets go" Brian agreed, and then together, hand in hand, Brian and Lucy walked out of Mac Daddys, the holder of destiny, to there jeep, to head to there new home, for a new beginning.

Wow, its done, its over, its making me cry!! Umm, wow, thanks you guys for ALL your love and support, and sticking with me through out everything, and respecting me for what I write.
