Mac Daddy's--chapter 25

Lucy and Brian had falling asleep in each others arms. Kevin had just yelled at Lucy for the first time. He felt bad, but Lucy and Brian didn't understand, he was like a father to the girl. It was his job, and he cared for them both and he didn't want any of them hurt. He decided to go talk to Brian, so he told Megan and he slowly walked down the hall.

He knocked on Brians door, and go no answer. He knocked again.

"Who is it?" A muffled voice called from inside.

"Brian, its Kev, I gotta talk to you" Kevin stated lightly.

"Umm, hold on" Brian replied and woke Lucy up.

"Luc, get up, Kev's at the door, go through the side door to Nicks room and go our his door" Brian ordered, Lucy agreed and left.

Brian walked over to his door and swung it opened. Kevin and him just looked at each other for a little while before Brian stepped aside and let Kev come in.

"So.." Brian breathed.

"Bri, I'm sorry about earlier." Kevin stated.

"No, Kev, I'm sorry, It was wrong, and your just looking out for her." Brian said.

"No, whats wrong with kissing?"

Brian blushed "but shes my friend." He smiled.

"So, you love her."

"True, but were gonna just be friends, we like it like that." Brian said.

"Give it up man, your the one for her. But anyway, we have rehearsal in a few" Kevin smiled.

"Ohh man" Brian complained.

"Whats that about? Bri, you love doing this don't you?" Kevin asked.

Brian sighed "Yeah, I mean, this is my dream" Brian smiled slightly. Kevin smiled and walked out the door.

"Thats weird, I don't feel like going to rehearsal either" Kevin briefly thought, but AJ came outta Lucy's room and bumped into him.

"Whatch it!" Kevin scrolled.

"Sorry man!" AJ stated and went to his room and grabbed anything he needed.

Within the next hour, everyone showed up at rehearsal, weather they wanted to or not, they were there. Brian right away walked over to Nick.

"Hey man" Brian whispered, seeing Nick was upset with him.

"What?" Nick spat.

"I'm sorry, for whatever I did, I'm sorry" Brian stated lightly.

"B, you never spend any time with me anymore! Your always with Lucy! Bri, I love her, shes great, but what about our friendship? 'Frick and Frack' what about that?!?!" Nick yelled.

Everyone turned and looked at them, Kevin walked over to the situation.

"Whats going on?" He asked.

"Nothing!" Nick snapped.

"Nick calm down! I'm sorry! Lets do somethin' tonight, we can play video games all night." Brian stated.

Nick slightly smiled "Ohh alright" he smiled more. And everything was ok. Or was it?

LATER ON

"We go on in a hour, that means I have an hour to talk to friends back home. Man I never have anyone on tour. Kevin has Megan, and Brian, being family. Brian has Nick and Lucy, and AJ always has the new girl he meets. But I'm just alone most of the time" Howie thought to himself backstage at the concert that night.

"Hey B-Rok, wheres Luc?" AJ asked.

"Shes at the hotel, haven't seen her since she left my room" Brian stated.

"Shes prob'ly sleeping. She like to do that a lot, when your not around" Kevin said. Brian smiled and warmed up some more.

"Tess, things are so crazy on tour. Brian and the others seem a little outta it. Like they don't enjoy this. When I was a fan per-say, I always thought that they loved this more then anything. But it seems more like a chore to them. More then anything else" Lucy went on, while on the phone with her friend Tess.

"Well, maybe there just tired" Tess suggested. Lucy nodded.

"So, hows things back in New Mexico, I miss it so much"

"Things are ok. Kinda dull with you not around." Tess stated.

"Yeah, well, I'm gonna be pretty busy, I'm gonna be doing my school on the tour. Sucks. But it'll all work out" Lucy stated.

"Yeah they will, so hows Nick?" Tess asked with a big smile.

"Umm, ok, think he misses home and stuff" Lucy informed her.

"Yeah, I miss him, but anyway.." Tess trailed off.

"Tess, gotta go. Brians outta the shower." Lucy quickly stated.

"Ok bye!" Tess said and Lucy hung up the phone.

"Hey Bri" Lucy smiled brightly as Brian came outta the bathroom in his towel.

"Hi" Brian barely replied.

"Whats wrong with you?" Lucy asked.

"Nothing, just be quiet" Brian stated.

"Well Fine then!" Lucy stated and left.

"I'll sleep with Kevin and Megan, since Kevin took my room away" She stated to Brian and slammed the door.

Brian sighed and got dressed, then walked next door to Nicks room.

Lucy walked into Kevin and Megan’s room, with out knocking and they were kissing on the bed.

"Ahem!"

"LUCY!!" Kevin and Megan screeched, as they jumped up.

"And, you think me and Bri are bad" Lucy laughed.

They just smiled. "What can we do for you Lucy?" Kevin asked.

"I need to sleep here. Brians being a prick for some reason or another." Lucy stated.

Kevin sighed "I know what this is about" He stated.

"What?" Lucy questioned and sat at the end of their bed.

"We all had a rough night, with the concert and all the work going into it. Hes just tired" Kevin stated. Megan and Lucy frowned. Thats when Brian walked into the door.

"Luc, come to Nicks room with me" Mumbled a half sleeping Brian.

"Aww, Bri, did you miss me that much?" Lucy teased.

"I think I just changed my mind" Brian smiled and rapped his arms around her from behind.

"Brian, you like performing right?" Lucy asked.

"yeah love it. Lets go to Nick's now" Brian whined.

"Fine" Lucy smiled and they walked out the door.

"Shes perfect for him, she takes care of him. She loves him. Shes perfect for Brian" Kevin smiled and looked at Megan.

"And your perfect for me" He smiled and kissed her lips lightly.

"I love you Kevin Scott Richardson" Megan whispered.

"I love you more" Kevin began.

Megan giggled and kissed him again.

Lucy and Brian entered Nicks room, Nick was a big smile on his face.

"Hey Boy!" Lucy greeted happily.

"Hey Luc, Hey B-Rok" Nick greeted.

"So, where were we?" Nick questioned Brian.

"Um, I think, I was whoopin' your butt at Mortal Combat!" Brian smiled and took a seat next to Nick on the floor.

"Hey Luc, come sit by me" Brian smiled, Lucy smiled back and sat right next to Brian

After Nick beat Brian for the 100th time, Lucy was gettin' pretty tired.

"Hey Frack, I'm gonna get Lucy to bed, and I'll come back ok?" Brian questioned.

"Sure B" Nick replied and after Lucy said good night to Nick they walked down the hall to their room.

Lucy stepped outta the small hotel bathroom in her Pj's. Brian smiled and had the bed sheets pulled down so Lucy could get in. Lucy smiled slightly and sank into the cold sheets.

"Night Lucy" Brian smiled, he light kissed her forehead before he walked back to Nicks room.

"Shes so cute Nick. When shes tired, those eyes. I could just kiss her to death!" Brian gushed.

"You love her a lot, don't you?"

"Yeah Nick, I mean, shes my life" Brian spit out.

"I thought music was your life Brian?" Nick questioned.

"What? Nick, it is, but Lucy is my other half! Lucy and Backstreet Boys, I luv them both very much!!" Brian smiled.

"If you could chose one, what would it be?" Nick asked.

Brian thought for a second "Lucy, like I've always said, I'd chose love over fame" Brian whispered. He did have a point, but Nick couldn't help but feel sick to his stomach.

"Nick, I'm not gonna leave the group if thats what your hinting at. I just love her a whole lot, I can't explain it Nick, just understand, that I can't help how my heart feels" Brian stated.

"I know Bri, anyway, I'm tired get out" Nick smiled. Brian smiled back and left.

He walked into his room and Lucy was still awake looking blankly at the air.

"Hey Lucy!" Brian greeted.

"Hi" Lucy whispered.

"Why aren't you sleeping?" He asked.

"Who knows, over tired I guess" Lucy stated lightly.

"Well, I'll go get changed, and we'll watch tv ok?"

"Na, not tv, how about we just talk?" Lucy suggested.

Brian smiled "Or we could" Brian began, Lucy lightly hit him and smiled. "Ow, I was joking, we did enough of that today" He giggled, Lucy smiled and lightly kissed his lips lightly.

"Lucy I thought" Brian began. But he just kissed her back. He soon pulled away.

"I'm gonna go get changed" Brian whispered, Lucy sighed and pulled the heavy blankets tightly around her.

Brian soon re-entered the room, he avoided Lucy's eyes as she did his, He walked over and got in next to Lucy.

"Hey Luc" Brian whispered still not looking at her.

"Hmmm?"

"I love you" Brian stated.

"I love you to Brian" Lucy smiled and then they looked at each other.

"Have you ever thought about being a couple?" Brian asked.

Lucy thought for a second. "I guess, I've thought about how much I love you though" Lucy said sincerely.

"Girl I love you so much" Brian said and moved closer to her.

"So, have you thought about it?" Lucy asked.

"Yeah, a little, I mean, your my best girl friend" Brian told.

"Your eyes are getting heavy" Brian smiled.

"So"

"So, I love it when your tired, you look, so cute" Brian stated "And, you make me go crazy inside" Brian added and kissed Lucy's lips lightly, as he still talked.

"I never said you could kiss me" Lucy smiled.

"So, is there a problem?" Brian giggled. Lucy just smiled and hugged Brian close to her. He inhaled her sweet smell and kissed her cheek.

"Lucy, promise me you'll always be my friend"

"I'll always be your friend" Lucy whispered back and they soon fall asleep.
