Lucy woke up the next morning, she rolled over to see Sara still sleeping like a baby. She smiled, then remembered all the things that happened last night, AJ and Sara hitting it off, and Brian leaving, this was there first fight, and she hated it!
After a while off lying in bed, Lucy got up and headed down the steps.
"Hey AJ, your still here" Lucy greeted.
"Yeah, I was to tired to drive home last night" AJ smiled, Lucy looked at him knowingly.
"I feel so sick" Lucy mumbled taking a seat in the chair.
AJ looked at her "Want me to call him?" AJ asked.
"Could you?" Lucys face lit up.
"Sure sweetie" AJ smiled, and grabbed the phone.

"BRIAN WAKE UP!!" AJ yelled into the answering mashain.
"Bone? What the? Why are you calling this early?" Brian yelled.
"B, calm down, Whats wrong with you?" AJ asked.
"Bone, nothings wrong with me, just leave me alone" Brain stated, AJ got up and walked into the other room.
"B, Lucys was almost in tears last night when you left." AJ stated, Brain couldn't say anything, so he hung up the phone.
Lucy sighed knowing Brian had hung the phone up, she couldn't figure out what was going on with him. She beside to forget about it and go get Sara, so they could go to Taylors.
LATER
"Taylor, stop, that tickles" Lucy giggled.
"I know, its sa'posta" Taylor smiled. Lucy smiled back.
"Why didn't Sara come?" Taylor asked.
"AJ wanted to take her out, so" Lucy trailed off.
"Yeah ok. So, what time does your party start?"
"Whenever, for other peeps, it starts at 9, then it ends, whenever everyone leaves" Lucy smiled.
"Cool"

"Kev, man, wheres Lucy??" Brian asked, running into his house.
"Oh hey Bri, she went to Taylors" Kevin stated.
"Ohh man, were in a 'fight', I yelled at her last night and left" Brian sighed.
"Why did you yell at her?" Kevin asked in a stern voice.
"I, was, I am, upset, and I snapped at her" Brian replied.
"Well, she went to Taylors, I told her to be back by diner" Kevin said. Brian sighed again.
"Why?" Kevin asked.
"I wanna say sorry, she hates when I yell, and then I yelled at HER, and I feel bad"
"Well, whats wrong?" He asked.
"I don't know, nothing, I'm gonna go get Nick and head to the mall" Brain said and with that he left.
Kevin looked at him weirdly as he pulled away.

"Brian, whats wrong?" Lucy asked that night.
"Nothing baby, nothing" Brian stated.
"Brian, don't tell me that, I know something’s bothering you" Lucy stated.
"Luc, you know me to good" Brian groaned.
"I'm your lucky charm, what can I say" Lucy giggled, she got a smiled out of Brian.
"So, tell me whats wrong"
"Luc, I don't really know if I can talk about this with you" Brian said truthfully. Lucy looked at him.
"Luc, your great, I'll tell you, but not now. Ok?"
"Fine, but B-rok, I think I know whats bothering you" Lucy stated.
"And"
"You want a girlfriend, someone to go to, when your upset, someone to cuddle up to on cold nights" Lucy stated, looking deep into his eyes.
"Lucy, how'd you do that?? How'd you know I was at the park, how?" Brian stated in total panic that someone could figure him out, more then Nick could.
"Brian, How did you know I was in trouble? You just had this feeling inside of you" Lucy said.
"Yeah, but its scary, I don't like people beeing able to know what I'm thinking" Brian said walkeding around her room.
"Brain, I don't know What your thinking" Lucy stated.
"How'd you know, how did you know I wanted a girlfriend?" Brian asked.
"Brian, I figured it had to be something with a girl." Lucy replied.
Brian smiled a little "Ok, but Lucy, I'm gonna go, I'll see you next weekend ok?" Brian questioned.
"Um, ok. See ya" Lucy stated.
"Sweet Dreams" Brian grined, kissed her cheek lightly and left.
THE FRIDAY OF THE PARTY
The week took sooo long to go by, Brain hadn't called Lucy ALL week, she was mad at him, for it, but she'd get over it, in time. Friday after school, Herself, Sara, Taylor, Jeff (another friend), Sara's friend Lyn, and another girl, Kate.
Lucy walked through the front door with her friends. All the guys~n~Girls, (Cassy and all them) were setting' Everything up.
"LUCY!!" Tess yelled. Everyone smiled as Lucy gave ALL her friends hugs.

"Happy Sweet 16 Lucy" Kevin smiled and hugged her.

"Ohh wow, Brians not here, where is he?" Lucy asked, as she helped set up.
"Ohh, he'll be any min. he had to go get more soda" AJ smiled.
"Ohh ok" Lucy quietly stated.
"Hey Jeff, can you grab that sign thing for me?" Lucy asked.
"Sure!" Jeff smiled and he hander her a "Sweet 16" banner thing.

"I'm back" Brian called walking into the house.
"Hey B-Rok, this is Jeff, Lyn, and Kate, you know Sara and Taylor" Kevin introduced.
"Hello, I'm, Brian" He greeted with a smile.

"Lucy, this party is great" Taylor smiled.
"Yeah, thanks to the guys" She smiled back.
"Yeah, do you know all these people?" He asked.
"Yeah right, most of them are the guys friends, but its cool."
Taylors, and Lucy’s convo., was broke by; AJ yelling that they were gonna play Seven Min In Heaven soon.

"Guys, we gotta make Lucy chose sometime outta the hat, but we make her chose outta a hat that has ALL Brians name" Nick told.
"Why Nick, thats a great idea" Tess agreed walking over to them. Nick smiled.
"I don't think thats suck a great idea" Kevin said.
"Kev, come on, loosen up a bit" Nick replied.
"Fine"
"Great, this is gonna be good." Nick smiled evilly.

So far Brian hadn’t talked to Lucy all night, she felt sick to her stomach, and wanted to slap him. She sat and waited for her turn to pull a name outta the hat.
"Earth to Lucy!" Sara giggled, as did everyone else.
"What? Ohh yeah whatever" Lucy said and pulled out a piece of paper, not even looking at the name.
"Luc, are you ok?" Taylor asked.
"Yeah I'm fine" Lucy smiled, then looked at the name, a look of horror came to her face.
"Who is it?" Kelly asked, everyone wanted to know.
"Umm, I changed my mind, I DON'T WANT TO PLAY" Lucy insisted and sat back down next to Howie and Cassy.
"Ohh come on, play" Jeff challenged.
"Yeah its your party you gotta play" Matt, one of Brians friends stated.
Lucy looked at Brian, who was starring at her.
"Come on Luc" Brian smiled.
Lucy glared at him, got up, grabbed his hand and pulled him down the hall.
"Lucy, who'd you get?" Brian asked.
"YOU!" She screached.
"No, no you didn't" Brian said.
"Yeah I did, and I'm NOT about to step foot in that closet with you" Lucy said sternly.
"Well, we can't just stand here" Brian said. "We'd lose" Brain added.
"Well, were not gonna win anyway, cuz there is no way I'm doing ANYthing with you" Lucy shot and began to walk back into the living room.
"Lucy, wait, just lets sit in there" Brian said and pulled her into the small, dark closet.
"Lucy, this party is great, its wild. You having fun?"
"Yeah tons, best party I had my whole life, just wish my daddy could be here" Lucy sighed.
"yeah" Brian whispered.
"So, that Lyn girl, she's really nice, quite nice looking too" Brian smiled. Lucy rolled her eyes.
"Lets go, who cares if we lose" Lucy stated.
"I do, my friends will laugh, the'll never let me forget it" Brian replied.
"Like I care, Brian, why waste your time trying to impress your friends? Lucy shot trying not to yell. Brian didn't say anything.
"BRIAN, are you that ashamed of me? Or what is it? Is that why you didn't talk to me ALL week, and ALL night???"
"Lucy, calm down, its not that big of deal" Brian shrugged. Lucy slapped him right across his face.
"You little brat, what was that for?" Brian asked.
"Don't start with me" Lucy stated lightly and looked the other way as a tear rolled down her cheek.
Brian sighed, he didn't know what came over him lately. All he knew was he wanted a girlfriend and fast, he was always on the look out, but no one clicked with him.
Brian looked over at Lucy, who was rolled up into a ball, probably crying he thought, he leaned over her and whispered "I'm sorry" in her ear, she said nothing, she kept her back towards him. He took this chance to rap his arms around her and he kissed her neck lightly.
"Brian what do you think your doing, don't ever touch me again!" Lucy yelled and walked back to the party.
"Wooh, 5min, Lucy" Megan laughed.
"Well, 4 min of witch we were fighting" Lucy told and sat next to Nick and his friend Brent.
"I'm gonna go get Brian" Kevin said and everyone got up to dance, the music turned up REAL loud, after a while of everyone going crazy dancing, a slow song came on.
"May I have this dance?" Taylor asked in a corny voice.
Lucy giggled "Sure" She smiled.

"Brian, what did you do to her??" Kevin asked.
"Kev, I did nothing, shes the one that slapped me" Brain defended. Kevin chuckled, as did Nick.
"Shes, was upset when she walked back into the room. Brian you must have done something" Kevin said.
"I did nothing, she just needs to loosen up a little" Brian said and was about to leave.
"Brian, I know I don't know alot about love and stuff, but your hurting her, don't you see that!" Nick snap.
Brian winced at that. "What do you want me to do about it??" Brian yelled.
"TALK TO HER!" Kevin yelled.
"I can't, she won't listen to me!" Brian yelled back.
"Yeah she will, now go down there, take her some place quiet and talk to her." Nick said calmly.
"No, I will after the party, but for now, I wanna do something for her" Brian lightly stated.
"Whats that?" Nick asked.
"I want to sing her "Like A Child" all of us" Brain stated. The guys agreed with a smile.

"Where's all the guys?" Lucy asked.
"Umm, I don't know" Cassy lied.
"Yeah who knows" Tess added.
ALl the lights went out, and everyone was quiet. Lucy clined to Tess, in fear. Till music stated. The music to "Like A Child"
Brian stepped off the steps, in the dimly lit room. Singing.

"Happy Sweet 16 Daddys Girl" Brian smiled and hugged and quickly kissed her cheek.
Lucy looked at him, she couldn't believe what he tried to pull earlier, but she wasn't gonna let her ruin her night.
"LET HAVE A PARTY!!!!" AJ yelled and everyone screamed, and they danced the night away.
"I say, we get out the beer!" AJ suggested. Most of his friends agreed.
"Here Brian, want one?" Matt, asked.
"Well" Brian began.
"Come on man, its time for you to get wild" He smiled, Brian smiled back and took the beer his friend was holding.
Lucy looked over from a bunch of people she didn't know, she was trying to talk to them but then she saw Brian sipping the beer. She looked at him in shock, so she walked up to him.
"Brian are you stupid?" Lucy asked.
"Lucy, get a grip, I'm just having a little fun" Brian said.
"Well, don't drink to much" Lucy told.
"Whatever" Brian replied.
"Brian can I talk to you???" Lucy asked, but wasn't even gonna wait for an answear, she grabbed the beer dumped it down the drain and pulled him up to her room.

"Lucy, I can't believe you just did that" Brian yelled.
"Brian don't yell, just talk to me, tell me whats going on?" Lucy asked.
"Nothings going on" Brian said.
"Please, just tell me" Lucy begged.
"Lucy, please let me be, Ok? Please?"
"I can't, I care about you to much" Lucy whispered.
"Then let me ask you this, when you get a boyfriend, will you be here, as much as you are now? Are you gonna be there for me? No, cuz you won't have time, when you get a boyfriend, thats it for me, I've lost you" Brian yelled, with that he left, looking more sad the angry.
