One Week Later

Lucy woke up around 6:30am, today was her first day of school. She didn't sleep much the night before. Brian wasn't there, it was also there first day in the studio. Lucy smiled and hopped into her shower. After she got outta the shower she pick out some clothes. She put on a pair of black bell bottoms and a tight baby pink shirt. She pulled on a pair of Platforms.

"Ok, now I gotta do my hair!" Lucy though. "Then my make-up"

"Lucy hurry up, your bus is gonna be here in a few min!" Kevin yell up the steps.

"Alright, be right down!" Lucy replied.

"Ok, bye Kev, I'll see you tonight!" Lucy smiled.

"Sure will! Bye have fun" Kevin replied and she walked out side to wait. Just as Brian’s jeep pulled in the bus came.

"Hey girl, how did you sleep?" Brian asked.

"fine, but I gotta go the bus is here" Lucy smiled.

"So I see, well bye sweetie" Brian smiled and hugged her before she got on the bus.

Tons of people were talking, and looking at her. Then out the window at Brian.

Lucy found a seat next to a girl that was looking out the window, not paying attention to anyone.

"Hi my names Lucy" Lucy smiled.

"Hi Lucy, I'm Sara" She smiled back.

"So your new here aren't you?" Sara asked.

"Yeah, this is my first day" Lucy stated.

"Yeah, so where are you from?"

"New Mexico, but now I live here." Lucy stated lightly.

"You like living here?"

"Well, yeah, I have friends here. But there all guys, all my other friends live in New Mexico." Lucy told.

"Yeah so I see" Sara smiled.

"Yeah" Lucy whispered.

"Ok next I have lunch, man I don't wanna do this, maybe I'll just hang out in the bathroom" Lucy thought and that’s where she went. She walked into the girls room, but all the girls in there were smoking. Lucy sighed and headed to lunch.

"Hey girl, you can sit here if you want!" A guy called. Lucy smiled and sat down with out saying a word.

"Hi, I'm Taylor" He smiled and held out his hand.

"I'm Lucy" She smiled and shook his hand.

"Nice to meet you Lucy"

"Its nice to meet you Taylor" Lucy smiled.

"So you like Orlando so far, I know your new. Everyone is talking about you" Taylor smiled brightly, He had big blue eyes with light blond hair.

"Yeah I like it. But its not like New Mexico" She sighed.

"Yeah its ok, so how long have you lived here?" Taylor questioned.

"About a week and a half. But I stayed here with friends for a little while. So I kinda know my way around." Lucy told.

"Yeah, so did you move here with your family?"

"Umm, ah, no, I live with my friend Megan and Kevin, there taking care of me." Lucy told.

"Ohh ok, cool." Taylor smiled brightly.

"Well, I have art next, what do you have?" Taylor asked.

"Umm, ah, I think art. But I'm not sure" Lucy replied as she checked her notes

"Yep!" Lucy said.

"Ok great. I'll walk you to class"

"Thanks" Lucy smiled at him and they left the cafeteria.

"Yes I got throug the day with out to many evil looks" Lucy though with a smiled as she got Brians nike jacket outta her locker and she slipped it on and got ready to go home.

"Hey girl, you can sit here if you want!" A girl with long blond hair called from the back of the bus.

"Thanks" Lucy smiled and sat next to her.

"Your the one that knows the backstreet boys right?" She asked.

"Yeah" Lucy replied.

"Ohh cool, are they nice, do you live with one?" She asked.

"Yes and yes. But there just normal people, just like you and me." Lucy told.

"Why are you living with them?"

"I just am" Lucy told.

"Well why? Are you going out with one of them, like Brian?" She asked.

"I just am, No I'm not going out with ANY of them!" Lucy told and the girl kept asking questions the whole way home.

"Bye!" the girl called and Lucy got off the bus.

"That girl was a bimbo!" Lucy laughed and took out her key to her house.

Lucy grabbed a snack and looked at the answering machine and the was a message.

Hey Lucy, its Kevin, were working, at 4 were gonna have Donna pick you up. So make sure your ready. Brian says hi, gotta go, bye"

"hooh, I get to watch them record" Lucy though and shoved a peace of cookie in her mouth and grabbed her book back and was about to go up the steps when Donna pulled up.

"Ohh, its 4 already. Wow" Lucy thought and locked the doors and got into Donnas car.

"Hey Donna" Lucy smiled.

"Hello Lucy, have fun at school?" She asked.

"AS much fun as you can have at school. But I met the hottest guy. His name was Taylor. Wow was he hot" Lucy gushed and Donna laughed.

"Were here" Donna told and they both got outta the car and walked into the building.

"Hey girl!!" Kevin smiled walking up to her.

"Hey Kev, school was ok, I met the hottest guy." Lucy smiled and he laughed.

"What guy?" Brian asked coming over to her.

"His name is Taylor, hes really hot and nice" Lucy told.

"Ohh" Brian rolled his eyes.

"He was" Lucy insisted as all the guys laughed.

"Guys take it from the top!" Ordered a guy they were working with.

Lucy smiled as they sang a new song, they would mess up and have to do it again. Or AJ would blame Nick for coming in late on his part. Lucy was getting tired as they hours went by. So she pulled out some of her home work and started to do it. With in another hour they were done.

"That was great guys" Lucy smiled.

"Thanks" They all replied.

"Ready to go home?" Kevin asked.

"Yes, I wanna get a shower and go to bed" Lucy smiled.

"Ok" Kevin agreed.

"Ohh can I come over for a little while, just for a minuet or so?" Brian asked.

"Kevin?" Lucy questioned.

"Its ok with me as long as you leave before 10:00pm." Kevin smiled and Lucy thanked him as they cleared the studio

"Hey girly, make any friends other then that Taylor guy?" Brian asked sitting on her bed.

"Not really, this girl Sara, but I only talked to her in the morning. Then there was this girl, she was the biggest BIMBO, she was soo annoying." Lucy told.

"Yeah" Brian laughed.

"Hey you gonna sleep good tonight?" Brian asked.

"I'll try, but I'll have a dream, thats not knew news. But, its ok. I'll get back to sleep" Lucy stated.

"Ok, I gotta get outta here before Kevin had my head" Brian giggled a little.

"Yeah. Ok, will I see you tomorrow?"

"Maybe, were gonna be in the studio, so if you come there, then yeah." Brian told and kissed her cheek as he left.

Lucy sighed and fell back on her bed.

"Taylor is soo nice and cute" Lucy smiled to herself, she went to sleep so morning would come faster so she could see him.

*******THAT WEEKEND******

Lucy came home on Friday afternoon. She checked the answering masheain, Kevin said they were all coming over after they were done there. He also said it was gonna be a late night. Lucy sighed and brought her book bag up the steps. She put it on her bed and decided to call Taylor. He had been a good friend to her all week. So far that was her only friend.

"Hi is Taylor there?" Lucy asked.

"No! Even if he was he couldn't talk!!" The man yelled and slammed down the phone. Lucy was in shock then heard the door bell ring.

Lucy looked out the window and there was 5 girls. She opened the door.

"Can I help you?" Lucy asked.

"Is Kevin home!!" One girl asked with a smile.

"No, hes very busy you know" Lucy told, she was blown away on the amount of fans that knew where they lived.

"Can you have him sign some stuff?"

"Sure" Lucy smiled and took the stuff from the girls and they left laughing and giggling.

Lucy went to go back up the steps when the door bell rang again.

"Ohh man!" Lucy complained knowing it was more fans.

"I'm trying to do some work!" Lucy told swinging open the door. Taylor stood there trying to cover his tears.

"Taylor what’s wrong?" Lucy asked hugging him, he just started crying.

"My dad, I hate him" He sniffed.

"Its gonna be ok. Here wanna go upstairs?" Lucy asked.

"Yeah" Taylor agreed.

"I hate him Lucy, hes so mean. I hate him" Taylor said over and over again.

"Its ok, its ok" Lucy stated and hugged him again.

"I came here, I didn't know where else to go. I could have gone to one of my friends house. But I can't cry infront of my guys." Taylor told with a little smile.

"So I'm not your friend?" Lucy asked.

"No, you are, I meant my guy friends." Taylor smiled.

"I know, just playing with ya" Lucy giggled.

"Well, I better get going" Taylor said.

"Well, why don't you just hang out. I have nothing to do" Lucy

Taylor smiled "Sure" He agreed.

"Do you wanna watch MTV or something?" Lucy asked.

"Sure girl"

"I am so sick of that video" Lucy laughed as "I'll Never Break Your Heart" came on.

"Why?" He asked.

"No reason" Lucy smiled and watched the guys.

"YOu know, they live in this town" Taylor told.

"Really, I didn't know that" Lucy laughed.

"Whats so funny?" He asked.

"I know, I was a huge fan, I know them." Lucy smiled.

"Really, why didn't you say something sooner?"

"I don't know, just cuz" Lucy smiled. He smiled back, he slowly leaned over and kissed her. She blushed and kissed him back.

"Your nice you know that?"

"Thanks Taylor, so are you" Lucy smiled.

"Thanks" He replied lightly and kissed her again.

They soon pulled away and watched tv.

LATER

"Well Lucy, I better go" Taylor.

"Yeah ok, my "parents" are gonna be home soon." Lucy smiled. Taylor leaned over and kissed her before he left. When Brian walked in the door. Lucy jumped like 10 feet.

"I was just about to leave" Taylor said and look at Brain.

"I know who you are" He said and left. Leaving Brian and Lucy looking at each other.

"Lucy, you just had a guy in your room!" Brian tried not to yell.

"What are you?" Lucy shot back.

"Besides, don't you know how to knock" She added.

"Lucy, that’s not the point!" Brian yelled.

"Brian, stop yelling your scaring me. What’s your problem anyway?" Lucy asked.

"Lucy, I'm just looking out for you." Brian sighed and walked over to her.

"I miss you, its been a hard week. We've been so busy, I haven't got to just lay there and watch tv with you." Brian stated.

"I know, but Brian, you had no right yelling at me because I had a guy in my room. Hes my friend."

"Yeah it looked like it" Brian mumbled.

"Bri, please, I don't know why I kissed him. It was a mistake" Lucy told.

"I know, I know its ok" Brian smiled and laid back on Lucy’s bed and his lags over the edge. Brian held out his hands to Lucy and she grabbed them, he pulled her close to him as he sat up. He just looked up at her brown eyes, she smiled and kissed him, he kissed her back and laid down and pulled her with him. They continued kissing.

"Brian keep those wandering hands to your self" Lucy ordered.

"Sorry" Brian giggled and rapped his arms tightly around her, not breaking the kiss.

"Lucy?" Brian questioned.

"Hmmm?" She replied.

"Nothing" Brian smiled and began kissing Lucy again.

"Where’s Lucy, I haven't seen her since we've been home." Kevin stated.

"Oh, her and Brian are up stairs." Megan smiled.

"Oh, ok. Well its time to eat, I'll go get them" Kevin smiled and kissed Megan’s cheek and walked up to Lucy’s room.

He opened the door and both Brian and Lucy broke apart.

"Its time to eat" Kevin told and left.

"Ohh boy, ohh boy." Lucy panicked and got off her bed.

"Ohh wow, ohh man"

"Lucy its ok. Just calm down a bit" Brian told.

"Ok" She smiled.

"Wow, this is weird." Brian sighed.

"Lets go eat" He added.

"I can't go down there" Lucy screeched.

"Just come on, its gonna be alright. Were still just friends. Nothings changed." Brian told.

"I know, lets go" Lucy smiled and they made there way down the steps. Slowly.

Everyone was looking at them. Nick started laughing. As did Howie.

"Shut up Frack" Brian ordered.

"I can't help it." Nick giggled.

"Kev, its not what you think" Brian broke the sinlence with him and Kevin.

"Bri, we'll talk about it later. Lets just eat. OK?" Kevin ordered.

"Fine" Brian sighed and took Lucys hand from under the table.

"So, Lucy that guy that left earlier, who was that?" Megan asked.

"Taylor, he stopped by. He’s having some problems with his dad" Lucy told.

"I miss him so much" Lucy thought when she said the word dad.

"Oh, does he know about us?" Kevin asked.

"Well, I didn't tell him. But he saw Brian so." Lucy trailed off. She couldn't eat. She just sat there playing with her food.

"Luc, you gonna eat?" Brian asked.

"No, you can have it" Lucy told.

"Mmmm, thanks" Brian smiled and took her plate.

"Lucy you really should eat" Kevin told.

"I'm not hungry, its ok B, can have it" Lucy stated.

"Luc, when was the last time you ate?" Kevin asked.

"I ate some today" Lucy told.

"Fine" Kevin sighed.

"Can I please be excused?" Lucy asked looking at Kevin and Megan.

"Sure, get whatever home work you have done" Megan told, Lucy agreed and ran up the steps.

"Brian, what were you thinking?" Howie laughed.

"Nothing, its not like its anything big. Were friends. We have a weird friend ship." Brian whispered.

"Anyway, I'm gonna go talk to her" Brian added and began to get up.

"No, Brian I need to talk to you." Kevin stated.

"What for?"

"You know what for" Kevin said.

"Kev, its not a big deal. Besides it none of your business." Brian shot back.

"It IS my Business, when I have custody of her. I have to take care of her. Brian, you have to understand that! I can't just let her go out all hours of the night. Have guys in her room. Brian, why can't you see that?" Kevin yelled.

"Whatever man. I know, but its me, what am I gonna do to her? I love her Kevin" Brian said lowering his voice to a whisper.

"I know, but still, you can't do what your doing. She need her space. She might not think that. But she needs it Brian, just let her be" Kevin told lightly.

By now Brian had tears in his eyes.

"I know Kev, tell her I love her and I'll see her some time next week" Brian whispered and Kevin smiled.

"I will"

"Thanks" Brian smiled and walked out the door.

Leaveing Lucy in her room. For some reason Lucy’s stomach started to feel weird. Shes went over to her window to get some air and Brian’s car was pulling outta the drive way. She sighed and fell back on her bed.
