Uprising Souls<bR><bR>
                                                         Chapter 10<bR><bR>

*The next night- 3 hours before the concert*<bR><bR>

Monica- "Nick, at this rate, your gonna miss the beginning of your own show." Nick ignored her warning and continued placing kisses on her neck and shoulders. Monica wanted nothing more then to continue this for the rest of the night, but she knew that they were already gonna be late in getting to the concert venu. Nick breathed in deep the scent of her sweet perfume and ravished in the feeling of her bare skin pressed against him.<bR><bR> 

Monica- "Nick, you are gonna be really late as it is. Do you want to get on Kevin's bad side before the show starts?" Nick finally looked up at her and smoothed his hands down her face.<bR><bR> 

Nick- "Do I really have to go?" Monica smiled at the cute little puppy eyes she was getting.<bR><bR>

Monica- "Yes, you do. New York is gonna pitch a fit if your not on that stage tonight. Not to mention Kevin, Brian, AJ, Howie, your management team-." Cutting her off with a kiss, Nick tasted the inside of her mouth one more time before getting up.<bR><bR> 

Nick- "Ok, I'll go. But we're not done yet. I intend on finishing this when we get back." Monica smiled at him and brushed her lips across his quickly.<bR><bR>

Monica- "I wouldn't have it any other way."<bR><bR> 

* The Shrine of Those Who Must Be Kept*<bR><bR>

Akasha- "Is everything set?" She asked as Marius entered the shine after being gone for about 2 hours.<bR><bR>

Marius- "Everything is ready. The guards are waiting for him at the venu entrance and Amy is standing by waiting for the right moment to come."<bR><bR> 

Akasha- "Excellent." She smiled wickedly to herself.<bR><bR>

Marius- "Where is he now? I didn't see him at the venu?"<bR><bR>

Akasha- "I don't know. Because of everything that has happened, I can no longer read his thoughts. My guess would be he and that girl are on their way at this very moment. He'd better enjoy her while he still can. Cause after tonight, he'll be forced never to see her again."<bR><bR>

*Radio City Music Hall*<bR><bR>

Nick- "Ok, those guards are waiting for me at the front entrance. So, go around to the back and I'll come to the door and let you in. We don't want any trouble."<bR><bR>

Monica- "Ok, be careful." She kissed him quickly.<bR><bR>

Monica- "I love you."<bR><bR>

Nick- "I love you too." Monica ran around to the back of the huge building as Nick approached the front doors. The 5 guards were indeed there waiting on him, keeping surveillance on everything that was going on. Nick basically ignored them, went passed them and into the building. They followed closely behind him as he made his way backstage. He reached the dressing room. Just as he was about to open the door it opened itself and Kevin appeared.<bR><bR>

Kevin- "Nick, where the hell have you been! We start rehearsal run through in 10 minutes."<bR><bR>

Nick- "I'm sorry Kevin, but if we start in 10 minutes can we argue about this later so I can get changed?" Kevin gave him a horrid look.<bR><bR>

Kevin- "Fine, the other's are already on stage. We'll be waiting on you." Just then Kevin caught sight of the five mysterious figures that were behind Nick.<bR><bR>

Kevin- "Who are they?"<bR><bR>

Nick- "I'll explain later, just got to the stage and I'll be there in a minute." Kevin reluctantly left, knowing that something wasn't right about Nick. There was something going on. Nick went into the dressing room, followed by the guards, and changed clothes.<bR><bR> 

Nick- "You guys wait here. No one is allowed into the room while we're rehearsing."<bR><bR>

Guard #1- "We have our orders, we're to stay with you at all times."<bR><bR>

Nick- "And I have Akasha. Do what I say or you can face her later when my management team starts to get suspicious and start asking questions that can't be answered. Like who are you and why are you here?" This brought on dead silence and Nick knew that he had won this argument. He left the room and made his way down the hall towards the back door. Reaching it, he opened it and found Monica already waiting on him.<bR><bR>

Nick- "Sorry it took so long, but those guards followed me wherever I go." He opened the door wider and let Monica in, closing the door quietly behind her.<bR><bR>

Monica- "So, what should I do?"<bR><bR>

Nick- "Those guards have never seen you, so they don't know who you are. Just play it off like you don't know me, at least when they're around. For all they know, your part of the management team or the crew. Come on, I'll take you to the side stage so you can watch the rehearsal and I can keep an eye on you." Nick put his arm around her, holding her close to him as they made there way to the stage. Kevin, Howie, AJ, and Brian were already there waiting.<bR><bR> 

Brian- "Nick man, it's about time. What's up Monica?" He ran over and gave her a hug.<bR><bR>

Monica- "Not much, just here to cheer you guys on."<bR><bR>

Brian- "Cool. Nick come on, Donna is already to kill you for being late, we need to get started."<bR><bR>

Nick- "Ok." He turned to Monica as soon as Brian left.<bR><bR>

Nick- "Stay here and keep your eyes and ears open. Don't walk off with anyone and don't say too much unless you know who your talking to." He kissed her forehead and made his way out onto the stage.<bR><bR> 

Brian- "I guess you two are getting pretty serious huh?" Nick walked up to his mic stand, which was next to Brian's.<bR><bR>

Nick- "Yeah, I love her so much. I never believed in love at first sight until I met her."<bR><bR>

Brian- "I know how that feels. Just before you got here I met this amazing looking girl. She was out front with some other fans. I'm telling you, she's gorgeous, bright, nice and extremely sexy."<bR><bR>

Nick- "Way to go Frick man."<bR><bR>

Brian- "I gave her a backstage pass so I'll introduce the two of you as soon as we finish up here."<bR><bR>

Nick- "Great. At least this might give Monica someone to talk to tonight."<bR><bR>

           The rehearsal run through went very smoothly and was finished in exactly an hour and a half. The guys were then rushed to their dressing room for wardrobe, hair and make-up. Nick asked Brian if Monica could wait in his dressing room. Even though confused, Brian agreed. Nick sat in his chair, the guards watching him closely as the hair and make-up artist got him ready for the show. Finally done, he made his way out of his room and told his guards to wait side stage for him. He went to Brian's dressing room, arriving just as Brian finished changing into his costume. Nick looked around the room, finally spotting Monica sitting with some strange girl.<bR><bR>

Brian- "Come on, I'll introduce you." He lead Nick over to where the two girls were seated. As they approached, the two stood up. The strange girl didn't wait for Brian to speak, but immediately put out her hand to Nick.<bR><bR>

"You must be Nick. Brian and Monica have told me quite a bit about you." Nick took her hand in his and shook it.<bR><bR>

Nick- "Well, that's pretty rude of them. They told you about me, but yet they didn't even tell me your name."<bR><bR>


"Then allow me. My name is Amy."<bR><bR>
