“You have a look on your face that says your thinking about something” he said. “oh.......I’m just thinking about my brothers” she said. “How old are your brothers?” “One is 18, he’s my twin, and the other, Alex he’s 12” she answered. “Your lucky...I didn’t have a brother or sister around” he said. “Hmm...yeah, Alex’s cute, Aaron reminds me of him. I just miss him alot though.......I don’t get to see him very much. I have no idea where Zach is, he moved in with my dad, and then just...left.” Really? Why did he move in with your dad?”
“My mom and dad divorced when I was 13, and my dad got custody of Alex.........I didn’t visit my dad much, so I didn’t get see him. The Alex got in this huge fight with my mom, and left” she explained. “I’m sorry......that must be hard, not seeing your brother.” he said. “yeah, but my dad sent me his school picture, wanna’ see it? she asked. “Sure” he replied, as she got up and returned with a small frame. “he looks alot like you ya know? Same hair, same eyes, same smile” Aj said. “really? I never noticed.” “Yep......he does remind me of Aaron too. So.” he started, and her the picture, “Hoe did you and No start singing?” “I met No at Private school, she lived in my tone, and we just started singing, her dad got transferred to Orlando, so I moved with her, we sent out some demos, an here we are”” she said smiling, “I never dreamed we would get signed......this is really amazing” she said.
“yeah.........I love performing..........but what’s so cool is being in front of the crowd and getting hyped up off their energy” Aj said. “Tonight was the first concert we’ve ver done .......in fact our CD is being released the day after tomorrow” she said. “Were you nervous?” “Don’t you remember?...........I was more excited then nervous though” she said. “You’ll get used to the butterflies after a couple of concerts....they’ll either go away or become your friend” Aj said. “So......now that you my life story....why couldn’t you sleep?” Vi asked. “I don’t sleep alot, I’m a true blue Insomniac, I just usually don’t go to sleep until 1 but I still manage to get up early.............another reason, before you came in here I was thinking about you....” he said. “what about me?”
“How we ran into each other in the hall, and now we’re touring together. After we left I told Nick I wouldn’t mind knowing you better.....and I guess I’m going to get too” he said. Vi smiled, she was starting to get a good feeling about this tour. “I guess you are” she said. A chill ran up VI’s spine and she shivered. “God why do they have to make it so cold in here?” she asked. “Alex is probably trying to stay awake.......why are you cold?” “I feel like I’m sitting in a freezer in my boxers and a T-shirt....oh look I am” she said laughing. “Come here” he said, and motioned for her to move over by him. She moved over, and stretched her feet out next to his,as he rapped his arms around her and they both stayed warm under her comforter. “this is so weird.........a month ago I was listening to your Cd, now I’m lying here letting you keep me warm” Vi said. “There’s nothing weird about that.......but I can say this happening for the best” Aj said. “What’s happening for the best?” “This......the relationship growing between us.” “Oh, yeah....definently”Vi replied. “Warm yet?”
“Hm.huh.....nice and....toasty” she said, as Aj smiled and Vi closed her eyes, falling asleep to the hum of the bus, and the smell of Aj’s Tommy cologne.
“Hey Hey!!! What is going on here?” Brian asked in his best Mr.Belding voice, waking up Aj and Vi.
“Oh..Brian...we just fell asleep thats all” Aj said. Nick snickered, “Sure Aj..whatever” he said. Vi rolled her eyes, “its true Nick.....we were talking and fell asleep that’s all” Vi said stretching and standing up, “I’m gonna’ go change” she said, and left the section of the bus. Aj stood up, too, and headed for the hall,
“Aj.........she’s 18 man, “Brian said grabbing his arm. “I know Brian,.....but we didn’t do anything, I wouldn’t do that in our tour bus, there’s a limited amount of privacy” he said. “I suggest you don’t do anything at all” Brian said. “Your not her brother....stop protecting her, she can decide that” Aj said, and shrugged off Brian’s grasp to go get dressed.
