appaloosa mare leaps across your path, hooves flying. You step back to
avoid getting hit, and the brown mare whirls to face you.
*Oh! I'm so sorry. Did I hit you?* she asks, concern in her voice.
You shake your head slightly, still dazed and confused.
The mare lets out a sigh of relief. *I'm glad I didn't harm you, esthil.
I'm sorry if I frightened you. My name is Desara'Raeti, or Deep Horizon.*
You smile at her name, and also to let her know that you're okay. She kicks
up her heels and bows her head.
*Well, esthil, I'm still in the mood to run. I'll see you around the meadow,
no?* And with that, Desara'Raeti bounds away, galloping faster than any
horse you've seen.
You look after her for a moment, then walk back to where Rindel'Ky
stands.
