Soft,
springy grasses meet your boots as you step out into the large field. A
craggy mountain range fringes the meadow, and you can see a hint of sand
mixing with the grass off to your right. The waterfall that you saw earlier
has its source in the mountains, and the cascade has to be at least 45
feet tall.
You
still are a bit confused, as you don't really know what to make of this
strange place. Stepping further into the clearing, you can feel your spirits
lift and your doubts fade as you hear the colored leaves crunch beneath
your feet. This seems to be the center of wherever you are, and you decide
to take your time in looking around.
Directly
behind you lies the room of jade, and far to your right you can see what
looks like an ocean of sand. A grey structure closely resembling a pyramid
sits nearby, and a dense forest covers a large area to the northwest. In
front of you sprawls more of the huge meadow, and the northeastern edge
of the field is spanned by huge mountain peaks. Turning around, you can
see the canopies of another small forest behind the jade room.
A slight
break in some nearby trees catches your attention, and you could go investigate.
You also notice a circular grove of holly trees sitting serenely off to
the east, not far from where you stand. A strange white blur seems to gather
at the base of those trees, and as you stare at them a little more, you
realize it to be.....snow? The holly berries are bright red, and seem to
beckon to you as you look at them.
Tearing
your eyes away, you decide to investigate the grove later. You could walk
towards the misty part of the meadow that shrouds the waterfall. Or there
is always the previous room, the one adorned with walls of jade? So many
places to look at.........
