He came to her pleading for forgiveness and friendship.
She excepted this act and gave herself in return.
She found a kinship, a soul she could bare her burdens to without judgment.
So smooth were his words as they rolled off his serpent tongue.
Intoxicating promises oozed into her ear's day in and day out.
And loving actions were there to protect her from the demons in her life.
Never once would he let this love for her be hidden, even if it was harmful to her.
Devoted love was expressed to her everyday and he shouted it to the world.
Then this deep love for her began to change like the winds before the storm.
Slowly over time his desperation took over his every rational emotion.
A darker side to him revealed the blackened colors of his destructive obsession.
Contradiction showed in his words of love to her now and betrayal bore his name.
He came into her world and promised to help her through the rough road ahead.
Sworn to her his eternal love, seclusion of her thoughts, and to be her confidante.
With a sudden turn he has shot a hole straight through her "heart", the very endearing name he used to call her.
He has wrecked havoc on her life with his deceptive ways.
Stripped and raped her of all that was good.
Stalked and imprisoned her to this living hell, forcing her deeper into its flames.
Turned her life into a spectacle for his mirth, he has.
Trapped her in a cage of despair exposing her to endless suffering.
And now she is left raw and vulnerable to the spectators of the world.
Just like a poisonous spider, he has spun his web of deceit and suffocated her in his canard.
Dragged her farther down into the abyss of his diseased delusion.
Yearning for air and light she battles each day to break free of him.
And all that he lies upon her head now is blame, but she has done nothing to warrant it.
He started the game with his conceited nature, fabricated fables, his manipulative ways, and his infidelity.
How can he condemn her when all she did was trust his words of love.
He has turned into the monster he has been trying so hard to shield her from.
Fear of him now lies in her hands and strains her heart.
All his promises were broken the day he tore into her life and violated her solitude.
