Q : Do you break a lot of promises like the song , "10,000 Promises"?
Brian:It's really kevins song so you should ask him . For me , I don't tend to break promises. Except when I was a kid and broke little ones , you know like , "Yeah mom , I promise I did my homework " and "I promise I'll tidy up my room." Yeah right !!
Q: Are you nervous about the new album "Mellenium" ?
Brian : A little , because there's a little more input , song wise , from us , but I have the feeling deep down that the fans are going to like it . There's a lot of real "sing along" and danceable stuff here.
Q: Are your dance movements on satge still restricted by the operation you had last year?
Brian : No!! Absolutely not !!! I feel great now !!
Q: What's the most embarassing thing that's happened on stage ?
Brain :We've done the US tour so many times that we don't usually mess up . But I used to get my shirt caught on the equipment or slip over a wire or stand to close to a pyrotechnic effect !
Q: Near the end of the Backstreet's Back , why are you sitting on the floor looking around while everyone else is dancing?
Brian:That's so funny !! I fell over ..I just totally slipped and sat there on my butt , looking stunned!!! And the director left that part in the video !! I just laugh every time I see it !!
Q:Why are all the girls in the videos so perfect-looking with those long legs and tiny waist?
Brian:I can't really explain it because often we don't get involved in the castingof the videos. With the Everybody video it was important to get people who could do the dance routine over and over again , and I guess to do that I guess you have to be pretty fit !
Q:Now you've conquered the world , what other anbitions do you have ?
Brian:The main thing is just for us to enjoy what we're doing and make better music . I recently completed a couple of new songs that are winding up on the next record , I'd love for us all to be able to take a long break sometime soon , but on the other hand we're looking forward to seeing our friends on tour .
Q:Whats the worst food you have had while touring ?
Brian: Some little roadside diner somewhere in the midwest..I think , Kansas..which served burnt baked potatoes. They could'nt even get that right !!!!
