Chapter 8
Her name was Becky… or was
it Lisa?
I think it was Becky, I can't
really remember… she was a big fan of
Nick and she was beautiful!
She
had long curly brown hair that glistened in the sun, her eyes were a
dark green
and her body looked like she was Richard Simmons partner!
The boys had finally
made small progress in the US, sure, it was a small tour
but Nick and the others
were so excited!
I remember Becky waiting to meet them at the small auditorium
called Ovens.
It was in the middle of January, it was freezing and Becky
was wearing a short
black skirt showing off her long brown legs.
I hated
her before the first word even left her mouth.
Nick's eyes lit up when he
saw her and I balled my first up ready to brake
her face!
Nick walked
over to her leaving me standing there to talk to her!
She was twenty-two
and old for Nick might I add, I could tell when
she spoke that she wanted down
his pants!
Nick spent the whole afternoon with her and left her safely outside
when they had a sound check, I sat with my hands crossed over my
chest as Nick
came up behind me and put his arms around my waist!
"SO how's Bertha…
or Becky or slut?" I remember saying as Nick
turned me around to face him.
"She doesn't mean anything to me… just a fan!" Nick replied and
kissed me softly on the lips.
I wanted to slap the smirk off his face
but I kept my cool!
After the show was over, Becky followed them to our hotel
and Nick stood
in the lobby with her for almost an hour!
I was furious
when Nick crawled into the bed with me that night and wrapped his arms
around
me.
"Has Bertha got you raring to go?" I remember asking.
"Baby,
please let's not fight!" Nick replied and pulled me onto him.
We started
kissing passionately and before I knew it… we were going at it!
I was still
furious about that Becky bitch but I let Nick have his fun.
We didn't speak
of Becky again that day until we saw her the next
day at the Fox Theater in Atlanta.
Nick practically drooled over her the whole time, which pissed me off.
He
offered her another autograph… he had given her an autograph the day before...
I
realized then that she was a dumb reason to get mad over and Nick would never
leave
the many years that him and me had shared for her.
I wish now that I would
have stayed on Nick's back about
Becky…maybe he would still be alive today!
