Chapter 10
Wendy's Panic...
I was so worried about Leslie, but
I didn't
want her to know, it would make her nervous.
I called the guys.
"Hello?"
It was A.J.
"Hey A.J., I need you or any of the guys' help."
"Why
what's up?"
"Well Ashley's with Nick and Leslie's at the
mall
with no way home."
"Wow um, I have to go out, Kevin and Howie
went
to the movies, and Brian's out playing ball."
"Can you get Brian
for me?"
"Yeah hold on a sec…B! Hey B, phone."
"Hello?"
He said.
"Brian? It's Wendy."
"Hey, what's up?"
"It's
Leslie. Ashley was supposed to pick her up at the
mall about an hour ago and
she's with Nick.
I can't drive, and none of the guys can get her but you."
"Sure
no problem. Is she okay?"
"I don't know, it's pouring rain out there
and I'm worried. Cause they close the mall early today."
"Oh
you're right! I'll go get her."
"Thanks B."
"No
problem, bye."
I hung up the phone and held it in my hand,
I'm gonna
kill Ashley…
Ashley and Nick On The Road...
"So are we
almost there? It's pouring rain and it's…oh
my God! I was supposed to pick Leslie
up an hour ago!" I said rubbing my temples.
"Do you want to
go back?" He asked.
"No, she'll be fine, she's just going to kill
me."
"Well, um…I have a problem." He said stopping the
car.
"What?"
"Well,
we're out of gas, and there's too much rain I
can't see to get out. We're going
to have to
wait here till the rain stops so I can go get some gas."
"Oh…this
is great!" I moaned as I jumped to the
back and laid down.
"What's
wrong with this situation? You
and me in a car," he said as he lay on me.
"Very
funny."
"Who said I was trying to be funny?"
"Again,
funny."
"Aw come on, lighten up a little, we have a while in this
car together, you can either be mad, or have fun." I
looked at him and
sighed, still knowing
I was going to get my ass beat by Leslie and Wendy.
