I turned off my car and looked at Jessie's shining face.
Two days had passed since the day she forgave me,
and we couldn't have been happier.

"Hey you two!" Brian said in a girly voice.

"B, you up for some ball?" I asked jumping out of my car
and helping Jessie out of the passenger's side.

"Of course! I get the ball first," Brian said as I ran over to the court.

"Are A.J. and Jessie back together?" Jane asked my mom.

"Yeah," my mom said with a smile.

"How?"

"Let's just say he brought her home."
