“Rise and shine you two love birds!” said JC as he and the rest of the guys entered Sarah’s room and opened up the shades. Sunlight poored into the room, and glowed on Lance and Sarah’s faces. Lance and Sarah’s eyes’ opened and sat up, still with their arms around each other.
“Did ya guys sleep like dat?” Justin said as he sat down next to them.
“Mind your own buisness Justin!” said Joey as he glanced at Justin with an evil look. Justin understood the look and got up and went to the other side of the room.
“How did you guys sleep?” asked Sarah as she moved away from Lance.
“Well, I was ok, but JC kept talking in his sleep, and he drooled a lot,” answered Chris with a disgusted face.
“We slept well, but Justin kept groaning,” replied Joey.
“Justin, I wonder what YOU were dreaming about!” questioned Sarah.
“Well actually I was dreamin about you and how wes...”
“Don’t finish, I dont think Sarah wants to hear it,” Lance said cutting in.
“Ooohhh is little Poofu gettin jealous?” aggitated Justin.
“Shut up Justin, I dont want to hear it either,” said Chris. Justin finally dropped the subject.
“Morning guys, is this a private party or am I invited?” asked Megan as she entered the bedroom.
“Morning Meg,” JC said as he put his arm around her shoulder. Megan smiled, as everyone else rolled their eyes.
“Morning JC, how are you?” asked Megan as she took his arm off her shoulder and turned to face him.
“Just great, how about your sweet self?” questioned JC.
“Just dandy,” Megan said as she looked over at Lance and Sarah. She got eye contact with Sarah and gave her a wink and smile. Sarah smiled back.
“Nice fro Justin!” said Megan as she pointed at his wacked out curls.
“Why thank ya, do ya like?” asked Justin, running his fingers through it.
“She was being sarcastic you doof, jeeze,” said JC.
“Well duh dork, don’t you think I know that? Gosh, sometimes I just wanna trade you in. If you gave us a quarter for all of the stupid things you say, we’d be millionares!” said Justin. Everyone thought it was funny, of course besides JC. He left the room with a hurt look.
“Justin, that was funny but it was really rude!” said Lance seriously.
“Yeah jeeze Justin, go hurt that poor guys feelings!” said Joey.
“Justin you BAD DOGGIE!” said Megan. Justin looked at everyone with guilt and left the room to go apologize to JC.
“So what do you guys want to do today?” asked Sarah as she got up to stretch.
“I dont know, what is there to do in Portland Oregon?” asked Chris as he plopped down on the couch next to Lance.
“Well, we could go to the movies, we could go to the Park, um....shopping, just cruise around, whatever you guys want,” listed Sarah.
“Lets go to the Park, we can go and run through the fountains!” said Megan excitedly.
“Yeah! Just our luck, we brought our swimming trunks,” answered Joey.
“Sounds good to me,” said Lance as he looked at Sarah for approval.
“I’ll get my swimsuit,” said Sarah.
“Sarah, come here for a second, I want to talk to you,” said Megan as she whispered into Sarah’s ear.
“Ok, guys we’ll be right back, we’re going to go and change, when you guys see JC and Justin, tell them the plan,” said Sarah as she grabbed her two piece bathing suite from her top dresser drawer. Sarah followed Megan down into her room and shut the door behind her.
“Sarah! What did you guys do?” asked Megan.
“We kissed and fell alseep holding each other, nothing too big,” said Sarah as she turned around to put on her suite.
“Nothing big? Sarah! You kissed a major superstar, and your saying thats not a big deal?” Megan shot back, also turning around.
“Ok, yeah it is I guess,” said Sarah smiling to herself.
“I think you should go out!” replied Megan.
“Yeah, but how would I see him?” asked Sarah.
“Well you can go stay with him for a while, you are eighteen now,” Megan said.
“True, and now that I’m out of school, I can go on tour with him! Oh Megan? Wouldn’t that be really cool?” said Sarah.
“Yes! And maybe you could help me get hooked up with Joey. He’s a real sweety, and he’s only like 20 and I’m nineteen!” Megan shot back. Sarah and Megan turned to each other with smiles on their faces, with their swim suites on and ready to go.
“You look great sis.” said Megan complimenting Sarah.
“So do you babe, come on, lets go and get the men we want,” said Sarah with determination on her face.
Sarah knocked on Chris’ room. “Are you guys ready to go?”
The door opened up and four hot guys walked out. “We’s ready ta jam, but JC is still puttin his trunks on, first he put dem on backwards, gosh what a dork,” answered Justin.
“Hey now now Justin don’t start bashing him, don’t want to make him cry.... again.” Chris said chuckling.
“Ok guys lets go swimming!” JC said jumping out of the room.
“We aren’t going swimming, we are going through the fountains, but yeah lets go,” replied Megan. Lance walked over to Sarah with an outreached arm.
“Shall we?” asked Lance.
“Lets do,” said Sarah smiling as they walked out the door.
“Aren’t they so cute? Ha ha, well I like Sarah too, this isn’t fair!” said JC as he started to stomp out of the room.
“Hold it there dork, you’re not going after them, you’re going with us, we will follow them,” said Joey as he grabbed the back of JC’s shirt.
“Joey, can I go with you guys too?” asked Megan.
“Sure cutie, you can sit by me too,” replied Joey as he put his arm around Megan and left the room.
“Well guys, it looks like its just us three!” JC said as he put his arms around Justin and Chris.
“Get off me ya dork,” screeched Justin.
“Don’t even try it,” muttered Chris. JC immediatley removed his arms from their shoulders and walked with them out of the room. After everyone piled into the separate cars, the two groups sped out. Justin driving closely behind Sarah and Lance. The cool wind blew againts Sarah and Lance’s face, also teasing his short spiky blonde hair. He looked so cute, Sarah thought while she turned a sharp left.
Lance looked at Sarah. Her long brown hair was flapping in the wind. She looked so beautiful, Lance thought to himself. I’ve got to go out with her, she’s perfect! She’s really sweet too! I hope she likes me.
“Ok we’re here Lance,” Sarah said, as she put the car in park. She looked over to Lance and he was just sitting there, staring at her. “Lance, are you ok hun?” she said while waving a hand infront of his face.
“I’m sorry, I was just thinking about you, err I mean something,” mummbled Lance.
“Stop lolly-gagging and lets go sweetie!” Sarah said grabbing Lance by the hand and pulling him out of the car. Seconds later, Justin and the rest of the gang pulled up behind them. They parked close enough to the fountain that it was within short walking distance.
“You guys ready to get wet?” Yelled JC.
“Yeah, lets go guys!” screamed Justin.
“Oh Megan!!!!!!” Screamed Joey as he ran towards her and picked her up. “You’re getting wet first babe, you and me!” Joey went off laughing and ran towards the fountain.
“Joey...NO!!” Screamed Megan as she tried to struggle free. Too late. Joey took her and sat her in the middle of the fountain. All of a sudden, all of the columns of water began to spray freezing water. She tried to run away from the water, but Joey just held her in his arms, not letting her free.
“Justin, Chris lets go tackle them!” JC said as he sped off.
“Um, Sarah, Lance, we’re gonna go try to save Megan and Joey!” Said Justin as he and Chris bolted off after JC.
“Wanna go get wet?” Asked Sarah.
“I don’t think we have a choice,” answered Lance.
“Let’s go! I’ll race ya, but please don’t trip like JC!” Joked Sarah. Sarah sped off, with Lance who was far behind. He was starting to get closer though, and was just steps behind her. Seconds later, they were running side by side, trying to outrun each other. “I’m going to beat you!” Screeched Sarah as she tried to pick up the speed.
“Not if I have anything to do with it!” Lance shot back. Lance grabbed Sarah by the waste and tackled her to the ground.
“Cheater!! No fair!” said Sarah breathlessly.
“I did this purposly, just so I could kiss you,” replied Lance. Lance leaned closer and brought himself close to her, their lips just inches away.
“DOGGY PILE!” yelled JC as he dove on top of Lance and Sarah.
“JC! YOU FREAK!” yelled Sarah as she laid under the both of them, trying to breath.
“Haha, aww how cute, a Kodak Moment!” yelled Megan as he and Joey and Chris jogged to their rescue. Chris and Joey pried JC off of them.
“JC what the heck do you think you’re doing?” Exclaimed Sarah.
“I was just having fun that’s all, don’t you think that was funny?” asked JC.
“Not really, actually it hurt!” said Sarah as she sat up.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to hurt you,” said JC with apologetic look.
“It’s ok, just next time think before you do something,” replied Sarah.
“Hey, guys do you want to go walk around?” asked Megan.
“Yeah, there are little shops over there we could go into,” said Sarah.
“OK! Let’s go!” said JC as everyone got off the ground and brushed themselves off.
“So, where do yo guys want to go first?” asked Megan.
“Hey, let’s go to that gift shop over there,” said Lance.
“Ok come on guys,” said Sarah. They all walked in a large group across the street and into the gift shop. As they entered, a few faces turned and smiled, that they noticed who the boys were.
“Sarah? Do you like Teddy Bears?” asked Lance as he walked over to the Teddy Bear stand.
“Yes! They are so cute!” said Sarah as she picked and medium sized fluffy brown teddy bear.
“Pick out one, I want to get it for you,” replied Lance as he put his arm around her and kissed her on the cheek.
“No, I didn’t do anything to deserve it,” said Sarah as she placed the teddy bear back on the stand.
“Yes you did, you’ve treated me so kindly,” Lance said as he took the teddy bear back off the stand and put it in her hands.
“Lance, you’re so sweet to me!” said Sarah smiling.
“Sarah, I like you a lot, um well I was wondering....” Lance trailed off.
“Wondering what?” asked Sarah as she looked into he beautiful green eyes.
“Well will you go out with me, and now that your eighteen you could come back home with me, and stay at my house, and you could even go on tour with us!” Lance said.
“Really! How wonderful, YES! I mean, yeah,” exclaimed Sarah.
“Good, cuz I wasn’t going to take no for an answer anyway,” said Lance as he put his arms around her waste and hugged her.
“Hehe,” giggled Sarah as she turned around to kiss Lance.
Meanwhile, JC had noticed Sarah and Lance getting cuddly from the other side of the store, and decided to spy on them. So he walked over to the rack of Beany Babies behind them and placed them into a pile on the side so he could see. JC hadn’t noticed that the cart was very flimsy, and that if someone where to lean on it, it would tip over and fall. JC felt the sudden urge to sneez and tried to hold it in, covering his mouth. Too late.
“Aachhoooo!” JC sneezed, as he also knocked over the Beany rack. It didn’t take too much wieght to knock over the rack, for seconds later it came crashing down, hitting both Lance and Sarah, making them fall down with it.
“OWW!” screamed Sarah as she felt suffocated with the hundreds of Beany babies on top of her. “Lance are you ok?” asked Sarah as she took her hand to feel around for him, since she couldnt see.
“Yeah I’m fine,” said Lance as he started to throw the beanies off of him and Sarah.
“Who’s the idiot that....” said Sarah as she sat up to look and see who knocked it over. Standing there, with his arms crossed, and the most embarrased face she’d ever seen, was JC.
“Sorry! Guys I didn’t mean to! I was just looking at these here beany babies and well I accidently pushed it over,” JC said as he bent down to help them both up. Moments later, Joey,Justin, Chris, and Megan came rushing over to see what all the commotion was. When they all saw the mess, they immediatly looked at JC and started to laugh. Another dumb JC moment, everyone thought to themselves. After everyone had done laughing,they began to clean up the beany babies, setting the cart back up and stacking them.
“I’m really sorry, are you guys ok?”asked JC as he put his arm around Sarah.
“I’m fine JC, but uh, I’m not taking you into another store thats for sure, or with anything that can move.“ Lance and Sarah then took her teddy bear to the cashier and bought it and came back to get the rest of their friends. They all left the store, as JC apologized to the person who was working there for the hundredth time. After talking to eachother, deciding where they should go next, they decided to go to the waterfront park. After five minutes of walking, they got there and sat and layed in the grass.
No one was talking, so Megan began to sing the song ‘I do, Cherish you,”, by 98 degrees.. Then, Sarah chimed in, and for a while they were just singing a duet. Finally, everyone else began to sing. They sang loud enough, that people had stopped to listen. After finishing the song, people began to clap. They then decided to sing the song ‘Down by the Bay’. Sarah and Megan did the main part, and the rest of the guys did the echo. As people listened, they started to drop money on the grass in front of them. Minutes after the song was over, a young lady walked up to the group of people to request a song.
“Will you guys sing ‘Bye Bye Bye’, by that one group N’sync, which you all look like!” asked the lady.
“Sick no! I hate that song, I don’t sing that crappy song anymore, I mean....um.... I dont like to sing that song,” exclaimed Chris.
“Ok guys, lets sing ‘I Thought She Knew’,” requested Joey. They all found their pitches and notes and began to sing. A bunch of teenage girls from across the park heard and rushed over. In the middle of Joey’s part, the girls interupted.
“OH MY GOSH! You guys are N’sync!” gasped one of the girls.
“Justin, Justin, Justin can I have a hug?” screamed the girls as they made their way to Justin.
“Yo, looks like its time to split!” yelled Justin as he got up and started to run. The rest of the N’sync group also got up and ran, with Megan and Sarah following. The teenage girls began to chase them. Sarah and Megan had ran fast enough that they passed JC. JC turned around to see how far back the girls were. While running and his head turned around, JC slammed into a tree, which then knocked him over.
“Ouch!” screeched JC as he felt the tree collide with his body.
“Let’s get him!” screamed the girls as they were just feet away from jumping JC.
“Sarah! Megan! Help!” yelled JC as the girls were hugging him and trying to pull him up.
“Megan, go help JC!” gasped Sarah as she stopped to look.
“Ok! JC! I’m coming!” exclaimed Megan as she rushed over to his side. “Get off of him you stupid teeny boppers!”
“Get off me! Gosh!” screamed JC as he thrashed about. Finally they got up and jogged away, the girls still behind them.
“Get in the car, get in the car!” yelled Sarah as she and Lance jumped into her sister’s car. JC dove into Justin’s car with the rest and drove off, leaving only a cloud of smoke behind them.
“Wow, that was a close one!” yelled Sarah as she looked over at Lance.
“Yeah I know! Gosh! They almost jumped Justin, poor JC, but that was pretty funny when he ran into that tree,” said Lance as he bursted out laughing.
“Yeah, hee-hee, what a KLUTZ!” said Sarah as she brushed her long hair out of her face.
“What a fun day,’ said Lance.
“Yeah I know, thanks for the teddy bear again,” replied Sarah as she hugged it close to her chest.
“I know why the day was so great,” said Lance as he looked over at Sarah.
“Why?” asked Sarah.
“Because I was with you sweetie,” answered Lance.
“Yeah same here,” said Sarah as she back at Lance.
