Chapter Eight

Gwen felt trapped as she was being pushed every which way by a group of frantic teeny boppers.

“Gwen!” A male voice called from what sounded like far away.

Gwen looked around and spotted a security guard waving at her from a couple feet away.

“Please get me out of here!” She cried in a scared voice.

“I’m trying!” The security guard yelled back, making his way over to where Gwen was.

He put his arm around her and started to lead her through the crowd.

“Hey! Why does she get to go with him!?” Cried a girl about 15.

“Yeah!” Another girl yelled. Gwen looked around confused and scared.

“She must be a girlfiend!” A girl near her shrieked.

“Get her!” Another girl screamed.

“Crap!” The security guard yelled as he started to run, pulling Gwen along with him.

They sprinted out of the terminal and towards another van.

“Get in!” The guard instructed Gwen. After she was in he also got in and told the driver to floor it.

~Kevin’s House~

“Do you think that they’re ok?” AJ asked.

“Yeah, they’re probably just fine, that security guard looked like he was ready for anyhting.” Nick replied flipping through the channels on the tv.

About 5 minutes later the sound of a car outside could be heard. The door opened and Gwen stepped inside, a little pale, but other than that ok. She waved to the guard and shut the door.

Kevin walked over to her and put his hand on her shoulder.

“Are you ok? I didn’t mean for things to get so out of hand, we had no idea that something like that would happen.” Kevin apologized.

“I’m ok, a little shaken up, but other than that I’m fine.” Gwen replied smiling.

“Well me, Howie and Nick are gonna take off.” AJ said, getting up from the chair.

“Where’s Gwen staying?” Howie asked.

“She can stay here, I’ve got plenty of room.” Kevin offered motioning to the various guest rooms.

“Ok sounds good, we’ll see you later Kev, bye Gwen.” Nick said while following AJ and Howie out the door.

“Bye.” Gwen called after them.

“Well I should be going too, I’m beat.” Brian said giving Kevin and Gwen hugs.

“Ok, I’ll see you later Brian.” Kevin said, patting him on the back.

“Bye Brian.” Gwen said kissing his cheek before he walked out the door.

A silence fell over the house for a few moments after all the guys split.

“Why don’t I show you to the room you’ll be staying in.” Kevin said, picking up her guitar case.

“Thanks.” Gwen said softly, following him up the stairs.

They walked down a long hall way before stopping at the last door. Kevin opened it and motioned for her to go inside. Gwen walked inside and gaped at the room around her.

It had dark blue carpets, that suck under your feel, the walls were cream colored, a canopy bed sat near a bathroom and there was a huge window, with a window seat.

“This room is beautiful.” Gwen whispered touching the dark blue silk sheets on the bed.

“Thanks.” Kevin answered setting her guitar case down by the window seat.

Gwen walked over to a dresser. “Who’s this?” She questioned, motioning to a picture of a man about 40.

Kevin silently walked over to her and touched the picture. “It’s my father.” He whispered after a moment. “He pasted away.” Gwen looked away from the picture and up at Kevin.

“I’m sorry.” She whispered back, giving his shoulder a little squeeze. Kevin let his hand fall away from the picture.

“Thanks…well I’ll let you make your self comfortable, maybe we could go out to dinner or something and I could show you around town?” Kevin said, walking to the door.

“That would be nice.” Gwen replied, touching the picture gently before looking at him.

He smiled slightly and closed the door behind him.

Gwen sighed and set her back pack on the bed. She unzipped it and pulled out it’s contents, a pair of ripped jeans, 2 faded sweatshirts, a dark blue t-shirt and a gray tank top, along with various other feminime items (bras, panties, ect.). She put these all in the dresser drawers and headed in to the bathroom for a hot shower.
