"Where the hell did AJ go?" Kevin muttered.
"Last time I saw him he was headed down stairs." Howie said motioning to the stairway.
"Hey there you are AJ where did you-." Kevin stopped in mid sentence when he saw the girl standing behind AJ.
"Kev this is Gwen, Gwen this is my friend Kevin." AJ said as Gwen shook Kevin's hand.
"Nice to meet you Kevin, now where is this guy that can fix my guitar?" Gwen asked impatiently.
"Kevin will you go get B-rok please?" AJ asked
"Sure no problem." Kevin replied walking off to find Brian.
Gwen looked at her guitar and sighed. This is just great she thought to herself. AJ looked at Gwen and thought, 'This girl is definitely not my type, she's way too bitchy.'
"Hey AJ what's up?" Brian asked jogging up to them.
"Hey Brian, well you see I kinda broke the string on Gwen's guitar and I was wondering if you could fix it." AJ asked.
"Who's Gwen?" Brian asked confused. "Earth to Brian. Who do you think the girl standing next to me is?" AJ said motioning to Gwen.
Gwen just stood there. Brian seemed to be really nice, not to mention he was very good looking. The same things were running through Brian's mind. She's beautiful he thought.
"It's nice to meet you Brian." Gwen said softly offering her hand to him.
"It's nice to meet you too Gwen." Brian answered before taking her hand and kissing it.
Gwen turned a deep shade of red and looked at the ground.
"Well now that you two are done making goo-goo eyes at eachother we can get this guitar fixed." AJ said grinning.
This time Brian and Gwen turned red.
"Uh…yeah…let me take a look at it." Brian stuttered reaching for the guitar. Gwen gave it to him still looking at the ground.
"I'm pretty sure I can fix it, why don't you come with me." He said motioning for Gwen to follow him.
Gwen followed him back outside and onto a huge bus.
Her eyes widened at the sight of it. Brian sat down on an over stuffed couch and patted the space beside him. Gwen sat down and he smiled at her. Her heart melted and she smiled back.
"This will just take a moment." Brian said, opening his own guitar case.
Gwen looked around the bus. It was spacious, with a little kitchen and a TV with a Nintendo hooked up to it and a door that she guessed led to bunks or something.
"OK all fixed!" Brian cried holding up the guitar.
"Jeez that was fast, thanks Brian." Gwen said smiling, taking the guitar from Brian and playing a few cords.
"Can I hear you play something?" Brian asked.
"Um…sure." Gwen replied hesitantly.
She got comfortable and took a deep breath. Then she started playing and singing another Lisa Loeb song called "Do you Sleep?"
Do you eat, sleep, do you breathe me anymore?
Do you sleep; do you count sheep anymore?
Do you sleep anymore?
Do you take plight on my tongue like lead?
Do you fall gracefully into bed anymore?
I saw you as you walked across my room.
You looked out the window; you looked at the moon.
You sat on the corner of my bed, and
You smoked with the ghost at the back of my head.
I don't know, and I don't care
If I ever will see you again.
I don't know and I don't care
If I ever will be there.
Do you eat, sleep, do you breathe me anymore?
Do you sleep, do you keep me anymore?
You kick my foot under the table,
I kick you back;
I can't say I'm able to
Stand for you or
Fall for you ever again.
Wish for the perfect setting?
Wishing that I am letting you
Take me where you want me
All over again?
You can't give yourself absolutely to someone else.
I don't know and I don't care
If I ever will see you again.
I don't know and I don't care
If I ever will be there.
I saw you as you walked across my room.
You looked out the window, you looked at the moon.
You sat on the corner of my bed, and
You smoked with the ghost in the back of my head.
Do you eat, sleep, do you breathe me anymore?
Do you sleep, do you count sheep anymore?
Do you sleep anymore?
I don't know, and I don't care if I ever will be there.
