“Okay Ash.” Nick replied.
“Make a time and place and I’ll be there.” Ash said.
“Tomorrow, 5:00PM, my living room” Nick replied.
“Um…instead of your living room, lets make it Dan’s…neutral ground.” Ash said.
“Okay.” Nick said.
“I’ll meet you at Dan’s house tomorrow evening.” Ash said.
“Alright.” Nick said.
”Rachel!” Ashleigh yelled.
“Time to go?” Rachel asked, as Ash then nodded. “Why so early? It is your welcome home party.”
“I need my rest…and I need to think.” Ash said.
“Okay Ash if you say so.” Rachel said. “Bye ya’ll.”
“Bye Rachel! Ash!” everyone yelled.
“Okay.” Rachel said. “Time to hit the road.”
“Totally.” Ash said.
“Ash…AJ and I broke up.” Rachel said.
“Rachel!” Ash yelled. “When?”
“Um…2 weeks ago.” Rachel said. “Which is what we should talk about. hleigh, you were never there when I needed you…through out these past weeks…” Rachel said. “So, I found a substitute Ashleigh.”
“Rachel, I was gone because I couldn’t stand what Nick did to me.” Ash said.
“I realize that Ash, but if you would of listened to Nick sooner you would have realized it wasn’t that bad.” Rachel said. “If you ask me, you were just being plain old selfish.”
“Rachel!” Ash exclaimed.
“Ashleigh, do you know how many of you’re family and friends have needed you these past weeks?” Rach asked.
“Rach…” Ash begun.
No Ash let me finish.” Rach said. “It just isn’t like you to run away from your problems.” “I mean seriously…AJ broke up with me, for Amanda something or other…and I didn’t run away.”
“But it was different for my situation!” Ash said
“No, yours is so much easier…at least it would have been if you and Nick would have talked. Ash, listen to me! You turned me against Nick and he’s not the enemy…” “You are.”
“No I’m not Rach…I think someone spiked your kool-aid.” Ash said.
“Ashleigh can’t you take anything serious?” Rach asked. “You seriously have some problems.” “You will regret going away from Nick Ash.”
“Why Rach? Why will I regret it? Huh?” Ash asked. “Because I officially have everyone turned against me?”
“One word Ash, one word.” Rachel said. “Amber”
“Oh really Rachel? Is that the girl who replaced me?” Ash asked.
“Amber has replaced you in more ways you’ll know.”
“Whatever Rachel.” Ash said. “We’re at my house now.”
