“Excuse me miss…are you lost?” a guy asked.
“Umm…I’m trying to find gate 3.” Ash said.
“I’m going to that gate actually.” Justin said.
“Well let’s go. What seat?” Ash asked.
“4 A, first class.” Justin answered.
“Same with me!” Ash said. “I mean I’m 3b, first class. So why is Justin Timberlake at the Tampa airport?”
“I’m seeing a friend…wait a minute…Ashleigh Johnson?” Justin asked.
“That’s me.” Ash said.
“Wow…all the guys are talking about you…in Nsync.”
“Really? Why?” Ash asked.
“Because you dumped Nick Carter, I guess.” Justin said. “I heard he is really heart broken over this.”
“Well, you know the tabloids…always making stuff up.” Ash said.
“So…you didn’t break up with him?” Justin asked.
“Oh I broke up with him alright.” Ash said. “And I guess he is a little heart broken.”
“But hey…he was with Maddy Holmes. One of my ex-best friends! They were making out.”
“Oh…” Justin said.
“How are you and Britney?” Ash asked.
“Broken up.” Justin said.
“Oh I’m sorry.” Ash said.
“We will be taking off now. Please enjoy the ride.” The flight attendant said.
“Wow! That was quick!” Justin said. “Well…you know…”
“I hate airplanes and airports!” Ash said.
“Really? Being Nick’s ex girlfriend, I kind of figured that you traveled all the time.” Justin said.
“Actually, Nick and I have dated since I was 15. For five years.” Ash said. “Yet, I haven’t ever actually been on tour with them the whole tour…since I dated Nick at least. When my dad first married Denise, AJ’s mom, I went on tour with them once for 7 months.”
“Wow.” Justin said.
“Yea and that was back when I was like…14 years old…so Nick would’ve been 15.” Ash said. “We would’ve been in Europe. I don’t travel though, because I basically learn by listening in class. Since, I was like 15 I didn’t want to be tutored. I wanted to be with my friends. Ya know what I mean?”
“So you learn by listening?” Justin asked.
“Yea, I’ll take notes, but I don’t study them. All I have to do is maybe read them once, listen in class, and do the homework, and I’ll get 100 percent.”
“Wow.” Justin said. “We’re you like popular?”
“Oh yea. I was homecoming queen…and uh…prom queen.” Ash said. “A lot of people liked me…I mean the key to being liked is to like yourself, like others, and be nice.”
“Wow…you’re really sweet…I mean, I met Amanda W…” Justin said.
“Nick’s other ex…” Ash said.
“Yea, she was nice and everything to me, but she seemed a little stuck up.” Justin said.
“Ugh! I can’t stand her.” Ash said. “I mean when ever we broke up, he’d date her…it makes me wonder if he’ll fall for her again.”
“Ash, all the guys in Nsync, thinks you and Nick will end up getting married…sometime in the next 4 years.” Justin said.
“Wow Justin…that prediction is just about what I’d predict. I mean if he were to ask me today…and be totally serious, I’d probably say yes.” Ash said. “I mean he can be a jerk…but so can every guy.” “Right?”
“Yea…I’m pretty sure Britney and I will get married.” Justin said. “It’s just that she’s so afraid of commitment.”
“We are ready to land. Please put your seatbelts on.” The pilot said.
