PJ Rosi

Sorry, I have to be biased with this player, PJ Rosi.  He is my favorite Roller Jam player.  And what handsome one at that.  PJ has been with the Hot Dice ever since the beginning.  He doesn't have a gimic or something to make him stand way out, he is just PJ, but that is what is great about him.  From his hockey training, he knows how to manuvere his way around players and get the score, watch out cause this Hot Dice is coming...

Here are some stats about PJ from the Roller Jam Official Homepage:

Nevada Hot Dice #34

5'9" 202 lbs.

Birthday: November 10, 1980

P.J.'s roller hockey talents have been tested worldwide. He landed a spot with Team USA, playing in an international tournament in Europe, playing against Holland, England, Germany and Sweden. "It was a totally different game. It was weird because they shot a lot more than we did. Ours was more passing and theirs was more shooting."

So why did he switch gears and become involved with RollerJam? "It seemed really cool. It's like a mix of wrestling, hockey and speed skating."

As far as the physical contact goes, P.J. says, "I think it's great! It makes the sport fun!" He wasn't allowed much contact when he played soccer in high school, although as a goalie he experienced more contact than others on his team. P.J. says his hockey experience helps his stamina on the RollerJam track, and soccer has taught him to use his feet a lot.

P.J. grew up on skates. His dad played roller hockey in New York in 1970. His grandfather, Paolo Rosi, was ranked #2 in the world as a professional lightweight boxer in the '50s.

His two younger brothers, Danny and Jason, are also great skaters. "My little brother is really good, and he wanted to do this, but he's only 15." P.J. says he would love to have his brothers join his team someday.
