Valentine Poem 97
Because of you I'm never blue,
Every day my thoughts are of you,
My Love for you will never die,
You are the apple of my eye,
Very much I love you my dear,
Always wishing that you were here,
Love that we have is very strong,
Ensured that you can do no wrong,
Never regret when I met you,
There nothing for you I wont do,
In for life you know that is true,
Now , Forever My Valentine,
Every day I hope you'll be mine.
The Navigator
A mariner's life is consumed mostly upon the briny sea,
For months on end away from his family he must be .
His thoughts are constantly of them...Etched deeply in his dreams,
The days and nights at sea can last forever...or so it seems.
When the stormy weather sets in and the salt air starts to blow,
The ship really rocks and pounds as the seas commence to grow.
When the weather is rough the salt still has a job to do,
Taking fixes to keep her on the plotted course that is true.
Navigating the high seas to some foreign port far away,
Finding that specific channel into a certain bay.
Knowing the current's direction and the height of the tide,
Being a sailor is more than just going for a boat ride.
WHY
Why do humans do all the evil things that they do,
Does anyone out there really know or have a clue?
The humans all around you...are they evil or kind,
There is no way to know what is going through their mind.
Is it human nature...please tell me that is not true,
Many crimes are committed by humans just like you.
It is in the papers everyday...it's nothing new,
Rape, child molestation, murder just to name a few.
Mothers throw their baby's out on the side of the road,
Pushers selling their illegal drugs by the truck load.
Terrorist killing hundreds just to get a point across,
And the humans that get fired simply kill their boss
There are children killing children, while they are in school,
Is that what we teach them, instead of the golden rule?
Please someone tell me, because I do not have a clue,
Why do humans do all the evil things that they do?
