Welcome to THE FREQUENCY, the domain of DJ Gecko. DJ Gecko can currently be heard on 88.5 FM WKPX. He spins- okay, enough of this, I spin off anything from acid jazz to techno to trip hop to heavy metal. This page is dedicated mostly to music. But also to a couple of my interests. UPDATE: Hey guess what? There is a club DJ in Sarasota named DJ GECKO. In compliance with the Being Different Act of 1972, I have changed my name to DJ Twitch. All references to DJ Gecko will stay the same so just keep this in mind. Like you care.

88.5 FM WKPX is the radio station I work at. WKPX is a non-commercial station known as "South Florida's Radio Alternative". And alternative it is. We specialize in "off top 40" music. We went on the air in February of 1983 and since then have been bringing South Florida great alternative hits. WKPX plays Ska, Punk, Swing, Techno, Heavy Metal, Gothic, Industrial and Electronica daily. In addition to normal rotation DJ's, specialty shows showcase certian types of music. If you live in the South Florida area, I will be on every Tuesday from 5 PM to 7 PM.
