"All set Mac?"
McKenna went to her mum and gave her a hug. "I'm so glad we are all here together Mum! Jae and Cal and Benno and you and I are going to have a great time- I only wish....."
McKenna felt her mother grip her tighter and tears came to both their eyes. "I know Mac, I'm missing him too" and for a time both the ladies of the Fraser Family thought of the tall redheaded scotsman 'Alex Fraser' , husband and father who had lost a huge battle with cancer some 8 months ago.
Sarah was the first to speak. "Now Dad planned this holiday for us all to help 'heal' the family and that is just what we are going to do! Have some fun and spend some nice time together as family.."
And as if on cue, there was a knock at the door, and 3 tall good looking men jostled to get through the doorway at the same time.
"Hey are you 2 ready?", Callan Fraser, McKenna"s middle brother asked. McKenna liiked at him and then at Jaedyn and Bennet and then at her mother and made a grab for her towel off the bed.
"Mum and I were Just saying what fun this holiday is going to be - but 2 weeks with you 3 for company, maybe pushing my sanity too far!", McKenna said so innocently with a twinkle in her eye. The next instant she found herself being pushed back onto the bed with the 3 men jumping on top of her. "O.K., o.k." she yelled fighting for breath "I give up!", and she was released from her torture rack.
Jaedyn, her oldest brother took her hand and pulled her up, but couldn't resist retorting.. "You think you've got it bad ? - think of the 3 of us having to put up with a pesky little sister on a tropical island - what fun is there having to babysit you!"
McKenna threw the closest thing to her, which was a book from the bedside table and it connected with Jae's chest. "Babysit me?!! Huh! I'll be babysitting you guys 'cause no girls will be interested in the 3 of you!", and with that McKenna picked up her towel which had fallen onto the floor and took her mum by the hand and led her out over the balcony towards the pool.
Laughter followed them and then soon after, the footsteps of the 3 brothers. Palm trees swayed in the gentle breeze and the fragrance of the fragipanni flowers made the pool area very inviting. The pool was deserted and the Frazer family spent the afternoon swimming and relaxing and enjoying their time together. By the time McK went to bed, she was feeling the effects of the sun and the swimming and went straight to sleep.
