4 Medium tomatoes 3 Tbsp of margarine or butter 1 medium onion, cut these into ring shape 1 Small garlic clove, minced 1 Tsp of salt 1 Tsp of dried leaf basil Black pepper to taste Remove stems from the tomatoes, then cut each into 6-8 wedges and set aside. Melt margarine in large skillet, add onion and garlic and cook over medium high heat for 2 minutes. Stir in the salt, basil and black pepper. Add reserved tomatoes to skillet, reduce the heat to medium and stir just until hot, for 2-3 minutes. This will make 6 servings
6 Large ripe bananas 1/4 cup margarine or butter 1 Tbsp of curry powder Peel bananas and slice into 1/4 inch thick rounds. Melt the margarine in a large skillet then stir in curry powder, cooking for 2 minutes. Add the bananas and cook until lightly browned, about 7 minutes. Note: This is a delicious accompainment to meat or fish.
2 Cups of self rising flour 1 Cup of milk 1/4 Cup of regular mayonaise Heat the oven to 425 degrees and Grease twelve (about 2 1/2 inch) muffin cups Combine the flour, milk and mayonaise in a medium bowl and stir just until the dry ingredients are moistened. Divide the dough evenly between the muffin cups. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes. Serve them warm or at room temperature.
